  1. Which would you rather see - a solo album from Keisha Buchanan or a 1.0 reunion with original members Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy?
  2. Lol. The girls don't have to answer every question they get asked.....
  3. Lie about what? No one knows what REALLY went off between those two, and for what it's worth Siobhan has been saying the same thing since she left the group, so...
  4. Will Siobhan HAVE to go if she is called? Because I honestly can't see her bothering with any of this mess. Even when the news broke that Keisha was sacked, she still kept a relatively low profile & she's always said that she isn't interested. Actually, there was one quote I remember her saying - something about buying 4.0's album now that Keisha was out (ouch). But they've met several times since then anyway and as far as we know, there's no more ill feelings on either side. I can see Mutya already getting her best suit out & booking hair, make-up, pedicures, etc to make sure she looks good on the day - even if she isn't called to the witness stand (kidding - I love her).
  5. They are saying all of these awful things and then add "but we still respect Keisha" at the end. If they respected her, they would keep their mouths shut in the first place. Anyway, they should shut up. They've been saying the same crap for months without actually saying anything. Either they tell us exactly what happened or they just shut up & move on because it's pointless saying she was "unbearable" without telling us what made her that.
  6. I knew it wouldn't be top 5, and I can't see this spending another week in the top 10. I guess they just better hope the album sells a lot.
  7. Poor Siobhan. :(
  8. Silas - I honestly don't believe Siobhan spoke about how & why she left the group to try and sell records. Why? Because ever since she left she's been saying the same thing - even before she released her first record. I just think it's a case of people caring more about why she left instead of her music (which is a shame) and she answers those questions everytime. I'm sure they'll be asked again when her next record is released, too. That's one thing I respect about her - she doesn't give a f*ck. She won't mess fans about like Heidi & Amelle saying crap like "oh, it was unbearable. She was awful...but I still respect her". Siobhan pulled out the damn list and told us everything we wanted to know re: why her being in the band didn't work out. I like her honesty. There was no p*ssy-footing around. And you know, she's been saying the same thing for the last ten years. I'm going off a bit here, but I've just read yet ANOTHER story from Heidi & Amelle about Keisha and I just think instead of saying it was unbearable, tell us WHY it was unbearable. And what makes me laugh is they say all these awful things and then add onto the end "but I still respect Keisha".
  9. I can see Siobhan rolling her eyes if she gets called up to the witness stand. "Not MORE Sugababes sh*t". Seriously. I picture her walking in with sunglasses on, hair blowing in the wind and dressed in all black. She's grand!
  10. Well, we don't know HALF of what went on with those girls so if this is true, there must be some truth in this. She wouldn't go into this lightly, and her lawyers would have looked at the evidence to see if there was a case...which, if this is true, they obviously think there is. And cases like these take months to get started, so I doubt it was an overnight job just to delay their album release. She'd have filed this months ago and it's only now that it's getting started (again, if true).
  11. Does this mean Siobhan & Mutya could get a slice of the pie (if it's true)?
  12. Good for her. Neither of the girls in this group came up with the name and I find it hilarious when watching them perform "Freak Like Me" considering Heidi was the only one to record vocals for it.
  13. Well I'll just read a book insteaaaaaad I don't care if we're just friennnnnnnds
  14. Well in your original post that I was reffering to, you said Heidi might aswell be considered an original since that's when they blew up. I just felt like you were trying to brush 1.0 to one side and pretend like they never existed.
  15. I really do like this a lot, and I like that little Regina Spektor riff she did from "That Time". :)
  16. I can't listen to it on there. Grr. It's okay, I'll try and get it tomorrow. I like that promo picture of her on that site!
  17. Hey - would you be able to upload it on Mediafire or zShare so I can stream & listen to it? (on my iPhone currently). :)
  18. A fan told me it a while ago. Apparently, she mentioned it at a Receders gig and I guess whoever put it on YouTube got confused and assumed it was the title of HER album.
  19. It isn't - that's her band's (The Receeders) album title, apparently.
  20. We aren't talking about 3.0. They are irrelevant to the topic at hand. And excuse me. Like I said, it was a quick job and I just copied and pasted. I'm sure there are many more from music critics all over if you REALLY wanted to find them. Stop trying to discredit everything 1.0 brought to the table, man. You don't have to like the members, but as a fan you should at least respect everything they achieved. I'm sure had it not been for 'One Touch', the girls maybe wouldn't have got a deal with Island. Had it not been for 'One Touch', they wouldn't have got Richard X on board. Like it or not, that album opened doors for the girls in order to carry on and achieve the success they did with 'Angels...' (and everything else). The girls setting up the group & Siobhan leaving made it possible for Heidi, Amelle and Jade to take over. Remember - without Siobhan, without Keisha and without Mutya there would be no group for Heidi to claim she was an original member of.
  21. ^ Excellent post, Silas.
  22. And that's just two in the space of five minutes. You didn't look hard.
  23. Yes they did. They were often praised by critics for their lyrics, vocal performances - both live and in studio and the album - for the most part - gained good reviews. And um, they wrote the majority of their album. WTF? And as for Heidi being one of the reasons they blew up - please. You think everyone said "Wow. I have to go out and buy this song because of this new unknown girl that has just joined"? Yeah, right. No one knew who the hell she was and she sure as hell didn't help them explode because of her fantastic vocals. The reason they blew up was because they had better material + better promotion aswell as timing and a better team of people behind them. Like I said, it could have been any girl singing on "Freak Like Me" and that song STILL would have shot to number one.
  24. And what? All of the ORIGINALS hard work in getting the group on its' feet, the critical acclaim they received and everything else they achieved should be ignored? Heidi didn't help create the group. She joined on their second album thus she isn't an original. Just because she was there when they exploded (and to be honest, it could have been any girl. The material/production was much more mainstream) doesn't give her (or anyone) the right to discredit Siobhan and everything she brought to the table, because if it wasn't for her Heidi wouldn't have had a group to join in the first place!
