Don't like any of them. Very generic sounding. Prefer Keisha's vocals, too.

    Oh my goodness.
  4. Um, and these line-up changes haven't?! A 1.0 reunion could not do any more harm to the brand, lol.

I wouldn't like to speculate. I don't have a clue what happened between those girls, but it looks to me like both Keisha & Amelle played equal parts (Heidi was probably sat in the corner crying) in the break-up and only those two REALLY know what went on. I've heard so much that I don't know what to believe. We will see.

The thing with this group is no one cares about them solo, they just want music from any three girls calling themselves Sugababes. Doesn't matter who is in the group. Siobhan and Mutya both put out critically acclaimed albums that nobody bought. They were popular inside the group, but outside it was clearly a different story. It will be interesting to see how Keisha's solo career pans out. I still think she should do a 1.0 reunion followed by a solo album. But meh ... we'll see.

Amelle's dismissive attitude right after Keisha was kicked out did her no favours. The fans wanted answers, and she literally said "I'm not getting into it because I can't be arsed". Heidi did all the talking, and that's why Amelle is being targetted. But yeah, she doesn't deserve death threats. I hope she makes a speedy recovery. Let Karma deal with it.

1.0. They were so edgy & different to any other girl group. They came out like "yeah, we're the Sugababes. We can sing. Now sit down and enjoy our songs". There was none of this foolishness about fancy dresses and weaves.

You are right. The name & all of the material doesn't belong to ANY of the girls. The rights belong to someone else. If I was a member of that group, I'd be worried about my place because they've proved that they will drop your ass with the quickness.
  10. ^ Sugarbabes ... :D Anyway, it's a shame that this isn't going to happen because each girl could make a lot of cash from it. There's already a huge interest in a 1.0 reunion, so if it did happen they'd have the whole world watching them.

    It's good.

It was supposed to be different? I heard it was a leaked/unfinished clip. I didn't buy it though because it was officially released to TV, so... But yeah...the video is still boring either way.

I shall send mine off later today.
  14. Gonna be weird to see.

I think we do realise that, but they failed terribly at covering it up and that's where the criticism is coming in.

    Epic? Haha. Sure.
  17. Martin. posted a post in a topic in Sugababes's Sugababes
Lol, that wouldn't have made the video much better...just a small fraction.

The line-up didn't have much effect on the video besides the choreography. The video set & its plot would have still been the same even if Keisha was still in the group. It's just another average video that was hyped up to be more than it is. But it's enough to get them out there & noticed. It's not awful.

It's hardly 'Mission Impossible'. There's hardly any stunts in that video that someone else wouldn't pick up in an hour or so.

Okay, the video is good. The ladies look great. My problem is with the three other girls who are clearly a representation of the Sugababes 3.0. Why the hell didn't they replace the girl who is obviously representing Keisha? Or is there a point to having her there? If so, it's pretty tasteless. And I won't buy the "they wouldn't have had time" excuse because they clearly had enough time to kick Keisha's ass aside and march Jade in. The 'plot' is a bit blah, but it's alright. I would have preferred to see the actual ladies take part in this crappy, cheap plot instead of a representation of them. Instead, we're left watching three girls trying to dance and three other girls (pretending to be the ladies) kick ass. All in all, I give it 3 stars. Could have been better, but could have been worse.

It might be on later. Does that ITV player thing cover GMTV, too? Not sure.

    Double post. Sorry.

No? They were great. Looks were on point, dancing was good, etc. That 30 second clip sh*t's all over the entire video to "Get Sexy", "No Can Do" and "Girls". I think this will be a hit for them.
  24. Knowing the nature of this group, it could very well be true. I'm going to sit on the fece with this one. The Sun publish crap, and the girls are well known for their fighting.

I can believe that. Writing up a contract takes time. Same with getting out of one. I imagine she'll be signing it within the next week or so.
