Um, if that's the case then why are WE getting involved by even discussing it? Please. She knows Keisha and is a fan of the group. She has just as much right to offer an opinion like the rest of us. And Mutya is trying to stay relevant. She has a single out that needs promoting.

    Sure thing.

You people kill me. You will sit and slate anyone who "abuses" Jade or Amelle but then go and do the same to people like Jamelia and Mutya. Idiots.

    I guess so, Mr Ryan.

    Awful song.

And it's like Mutya said - it started out as three girls with a passion for music & a dream. Now it's about three randomers who crave fame & fortune. Sad.

The song sucks no matter who is singing it. That said, I do prefer Keisha's version ... only because her voice is more distinctive and blends well with Heidi & Amelle's.
  8. Wonderful interview. I admire her honesty. Her story has pretty much stayed the same since 2003. And I don't see why she should be nice about someone she didn't get along with and who allegedly bullied her. I sure as hell wouldn't. BUT I do agree - it's time to put the claws away and move on, Siobhan. Forgive, but don't forget.
  9. I think the best thing is for Mutya, Siobhan and Keisha to have lunch together and TALK about the past & try to resolve it. This means ALL ladies involved being honest with eachother. No mud-slinging via the press, because they will take your sh*t out of context and/or even make it up. Let the ladies talk it out and see where we go from there. I would love to see a paparazzi shot with the three of them in their jeans, t-shirts, shades, etc having coffee at Starbucks and just getting on. I think an original reunion would be HUGE. It's got everyone talking, and whether you like each girl or not - their individual voices are brilliant & have grown so much. As have their music tastes, so it would be interesting just to see what type of sound they'd go for.

Jamelia is a friend of Keisha's, I believe. And a fan of the group - just like everyone else here. Why shouldn't she offer her opinion on the situation just like everyone else is? Anyway, I think the whole thing is a mess. I don't know what the hell has gone on behind their dressing room doors, but what I'm getting from it is Keisha and Amelle were fighting. Keisha would not work as part of the Sugababes with Amelle involved. The management (or whoever it is) had to make a decision in who was leaving. They figured all of the sh*t comes from Keisha, so they kicked her ass to the curb along with her hairbrush and parted ways. There's speculation on whether the original ladies will reform. I'm going to go with a resounding NO! Keisha is probably wanting a change now aswell as starting her own career. Mutya's career is sinking faster than a lead balloon, and Siobhan despises Keisha ... even if a label offered her millions of pounds, I don't think she'd take it. The only time she's spoken about the situation is when journalists have come knocking, which is surprising as I thought she'd be the first to go knocking. Mutya is using every chance she can get to talk about aswell as plug her own sh*tty ass song. What do I think is best for the ladies? Well for Mutley and Siobhan, working with Keisha on a new album would be the best thing. However, Siobhan clearly doesn't give two sh*ts about selling albums and being the hottest thing around. She's content with just making albums, touring and whatever else she does. Keisha's best bet is to probably do a solo album ... HOWEVER, if this new line-up is successful it will just show that the public are interested in anything that comes from the name SUGABABES rather than the ladies in the group. Oh, and I'm gutted Jark has left. But I understand.

    Overload.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if this does badly. Hasn't the song & video been available for like a year now?
  13. Just because it's their job shouldn't mean they have to compromise who they are as artists and more importantly, women. But we wont get into that because that's not what I'm talking about. As long as they're happy, then GO THEM! I guess I'll wait and see what their NEXT album offers.

    Alright, thanks.
  15. Maybe you're right. However, I'm basing my opinion on what I've heard and seen from the girls. I said "by this era", meaning the direction that they have decided to take their sound & image into. I may end up loving the album, I may not. Who knows? What I do know though is that the first offering from this project is pretty bad, the second single isn't that great either and the other stuff is average. The image they are going with is tired & has been done a thousand times before. I just feel that they shouldn't be following the trend, they should be out their doing their own thing.
  16. That's good. People shouldn't be concerned about chart positions anyway. I rather have good music not chart at all than have bad music chart @ number one. And a project could chart at #30 and sell a million copies, where another one could shoot in at number one and sell 300k.
  17. What was "Girls" peak?
  18. And deserves to be #300 or #400. I'm disappointed by them with this era. :(

When is this project being released?

    Don't like it.
  21. The song is kinda catchy and Amelle looks FIERCE.
  22. The artwork for the cover already sh*ts on the artwork for the whole 'C&S' era.
