  1. Honestly, I think you'll like it if you go in with an open mind. It's very different from her first album. If you're expecting "Foundations" or "Mouthwash" you will be disappointed. It's indie meets folk meets 60s girl group era all meshed into one sound. There's a bit of punk, a bit of spoken word, etc on there too. I think I'll end up liking this more than her debut - and I LOVED that.
  2. THEY never had an edge. Like it or not, this group is different. Aside from "About You Now", they haven't been that great. This new line-up needs to chill out for a minute, live life, get inspired and see what they come up with. Forget going into the studio already.
  3. Great cover. Not my kind of music, but I'm willing to give it a go when it comes out seeing as it's Kelis and she's pretty awesome at nearly everything she touches.
  4. Oh, that's a fake? Right. *Goes to delete her off the list*
  5. I actually really like this album. Favourite songs so far; "Kiss That Grrrl", "Do-Wah-Doo", "Take Me To A Higher Plane", "Early Christmas Present". "Mansion Song" was shocking. Not in a bad way, but the lyrics were just so candid. My mouth literally dropped.
  6. True. However, Jamelia's 'Thank You' bombed first time around and then she went into the studio again, recorded some tracks and re-released that $h!t. It went on to sell double platinum. Mind you, that album was pretty good lol.
  7. I'm only on track three and I really like what I'm hearing so far. There's definetley growth on this record. Her sound has changed quite a bit and she's branched out to using other instruments, too. Gonna need to listen to it in its entirety a couple of times before I can form a proper opinion, but if the rest of the album is as good as the first few tracks then I'll be happy.
  8. I agree with you.
  9. Please don't tell me this is rubbish. I spent £25 on her scrapbook...Yikes.
  10. Would Mutya work with Heidi again though? I remember she had a lot to say about her since Keisha was booted.
  11. New tracks? I hope they are not re-releasing that mess of an album they call 'Sweet 7'.
  12. Rex Features Heidi Range has sought to end speculation on the future of the Sugababes. Reports of a split started after rumours that the band had been dropped from their US label Roc Nation. However, a recent message posted on the group's official website stated: "We have never been 'signed' to Roc Nation for a scheduled album release in America." Range, who is currently promoting a new fitness class with Virgin, has now confirmed that the band are recording new material and are not splitting up. She said: "That rumour has been flying around for the past nine years! "If we were going to split up I'd just come out and say it but we're actually having a great time. We're off to India next week and then we're back in the studio to record some new tracks."
  13. Rex Features Ex-Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has reportedly been lined up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing. According to The Mirror, the 25-year-old popstar has been approached by the BBC about competing in the upcoming eighth series. "Keisha was thrilled when asked to be part of the show. But she is a little apprehensive," said a source. "In the Sugababes, it was all about the singing. They never really danced. So the training would be really hard for her. "Her pal Alesha Dixon saw her solo career really take off after <>Strictly and she's hoping that it could help her, too. She has so much on, it depends on whether she can fit it all in. "But she is seriously keen. It's one of the only reality shows she would ever consider." Buchanan is apparently currently working with Dallas Austin in LA on tracks for her first solo album.
  14. He sounds like the Grinch.
  15. She should say thank you to the people who bought that album and helped spread the word. I'd be mad too though. They have spent more than they earnt.
  16. Lmao @ Amelle. I'm guessing she's talking about critics, management, label, etc. I don't blame her. But the album is awful so she should be mad at herself a little too. Bless her.
  17. I wasn't expecting a single so soon. And wow @ not wanting to discuss Siobhan. I guess things aren't that cool between them after all.
  18. ^ LOL. The thing is, even if "Miss Everything" hits number one, it isn't going to be near enough to make back the money they spent on this album. Have any of the girls said anything since it charted?
  19. This album is done. Talk about beating a dead horse.
  20. Haha. I bet the crowd went wild when she played the riff to "Mouthwash".
  21. Glad you had a good time and I'm glad she did "Foundations". :D
  22. 'Sweet 7' is in the lead. I found that album to be garbage, so what does that suggest about the rest? Yikes.
  23. Siobhan Donaghy - 'Revolution In Me' Siobhan Donaghy - 'Ghosts' Sugababes - 'One Touch' I'm tempted to get 'Catfights...'.
  24. 'One Touch' easily.

Ugh. I don't like any of those really, but I'm going with "Push the Button".
