    is it only me who thinks it's hilarious that despite being v cool / edgy / forward thinking, the beginning of gazelle twin was obviously recorded in a tesco or something????

    I obviously REALLY hope Singerpurear do qualify but I'm not 100% certain it will happen. Their song is just fine but it's a really strong semi and I was worried their track may not appeal strongly enough to get through. Hope I'm wrong tho'!

     

    i think the fact it's such a nice entry / very warm / still current will do them ALL the favours this time round in a semi of quite niche songs.

    I don't know if I worded it wrong but I'm not saying I don't have enough time, just too many songs to care enough to judge them properly. Idk I feel like I'm digging myself a hole with you guys so I'll stop talking. Although Silas you do raise a fair point about keeping things fresh with new blood!

    i agree about the bjsc listening thing. you'll have to listen to 42 songs this month, at an average of 5 minutes i'd say which is 210 minutes. 3 and a half hours! and you only need to listen to 25 in the first 5 days. it's not that you don't have time, it's just that you can't be bothered to make time - it's supposed to be enjoyable after all!! if you're not enjoying the process of it month on month, why even bother participating? for the glory of it? i've managed to listen to all of the semi songs a couple of time this week and i've been pretty busy. it would mean nothing to me to win a contest where i didn't even care to listen to all of the songs.
