WOW I did NOT see that coming at all, bravo Hollyoaks for pulling off a stunt that makes so much sense now it is explained but I am shook!! Can’t believe it’s the same actor as before too!!

Joan Jett) 12: Golden G String I can't get enough of the top 3, Hate Me is such a smash from the first second to the last, clearly proving to be an underrated one amongst fans too but the next two songs up there are rightfully getting the praise they deserve. I honestly didn't think she'd top Midnight Sky on this album but I was surprised to be wrong!

This album goes off SO hard!! So many highlights but the SLAP from the chorus on Hate Me is STRONG

Such a shame to see Clara end up in a position like that and leave because she did show potential with her Charleston, sadly though aside from that she hasn’t given enough for the amount of time she has been there to keep up to that potential. That dance-off was sooooo close though and I’m not surprised Clara got a vote to stay as she stepped up big time, but the mistakes were still there. Jamie shouldn’t have been there either though - the love for JJ just aggs me. He’s not a bad/annoying person or dancer, he’s just there? And that’s not enough at all at this stage. Sadly the Scottish/impaired/army publicity on rotation will keep him around regardless especially if he’s doing a Charleston next week, but I hope to be wrong. Now Clara is gone though my final 3 hopes are completely crystal - Maisie, Jamie and Bill or nothing please. I mean only one of those (probably Bill) will probably actually make it, HRVY and Ranvir are more popular.

While I see the points about her being long-running and needing a huge exit and there is no way she'd get killed off, do you not think this is a pretty huge storyline in its own right? Plus don't forget how Frankie (again, didn't like her but she was long-running too) got a randomly sudden fatal exit. I'm probably wrong but it would make sense.

I’ve watched the trailer again as I’m really excited to see how all the storylines bump to a dramatic peak around new year and I’m going to make a prediction for the death(s) -

I disagree entirely with the comments re: Jamie, I thought he was absolutely fantastic, couldn’t fault a single thing he did, I actually think he should have got 30 and don’t understand the 9! Maybe for Karen’s slight hiccup in her solo breakdance but aside from that it was exactly what I was hoping for. Ranvir however... I was expecting far better from what was actually delivered. Was still worthy of 7s and 8s but not a 10 at all. Could see stiffness and distance between her and Gio at times and not as much drama as there should have been. I do think that Caroline was worse and sadly yes Clara was the worst of the night, and while I’d rather JJ be there (overmarked again too even if he was better than last week) I’d assume it’ll be Clara and Caroline, in which case I hope Clara turns it out because as lovely as Caroline is, Clara has soooo much more potential. Just... not Maisie this time please.

Mark L, Lottie, Sura and Hermine are far more likeable than the three that have made it to the end. Laura is likeable enough but has received many free passes, Dave is just annoying and his bakes don’t look as outstanding as Prue and Paul claim, and then there is Peter who is literally Andrew from Candice’s season - so falsely smug about everything. Not interested in seeing the final at all now really.

Maisie underscored yet again - what a shock! Her, Max and Ranvir (as much as I think she was overscored last week) deserved better. JJ will probably be safe because of the whole military bashing they gave us so it’ll be between Max/Caroline/Ranvir. Clara stepped it up BIG TIME! I know Charlestons are highly praised anyway but she killed it!! So happy to see her do well, Bill once again delivering too, between him and Maisie I find it hard to choose my favourite!

Ranking them because I’ve only listened twice so it’d be a bit far-fetched to give concrete scores: 01 // Sweet Melody 02 // Break Up Song 03 // Not A Pop Song 04 // Gloves Up 05 // Happiness 06 // Confetti 07 // If You Want My Love 08 // A Mess (Happy 4 U) 09 // Breathe 10 // Nothing But My Feelings 11 // Holiday 12 // Rendezvous 13 // My Love Won’t Let You Down Sweet Melody slaps and sad it’s not doing more chart-wise, their best single since Touch, Break Up Song only slightly behind. Not A Pop Song is catchy af, doesn’t exactly have the most creative lyrics but the production reminds me of Ellie Goulding - Close To Me and the chorus is infectious. Towards the bottom I don’t know what they were thinking releasing Holiday - it’s pretty pale, and Rendezvous has the same effect as Red Planet did on me where it’s the sensual R&B song that does not an awful lot for me. MLWLYD I can hardly remember after both listens - they do ballads well but it’s pretty monotone.

Interesting - mine personally: DNA - Always Be Together (they got this one right, always found it so overlooked and yes it is cheesy but it’s so great) Salute - These Four Walls Get Weird - Weird People Glory Days - Is Your Love Enough LM5 - Monster In Me Confetti - Not A Pop Song (as it stands anyway)

Buzzcut Season is absolutely p e r f e c t and I'm sad to see it not make the top 10 but her discography is hardly flawed. White Teeth Teens is way too low though.

On paper I wouldn't have put it down as her best song, but it so, so is for me. It's stunning :wub:

On the whole I agree that this is more fun and appealing than Isle of Armour but again, quite a short storyline, no? Great to see the returning Pokemon though and Dynamax Adventures is a fun concept and will be making use of that to get some older legendaries and hunt for shinies (1/100 if you have a shiny charm!!), shame the Pokemon they give you to go through with are pretty poor. Regidrago is such a mixed bag for me out of the new additions - it has a fantastic design and a great ability that pairs well with Dragon Energy and yet learns hardly any special moves to make a proper set with it? Its stat spread is a bit odd too.

DILF Mark getting star baker :wub: he’s so likeable and genuinely good but always slightly missed the mark on something so I’m happy to see him win this week. Sad to see Sura go as I’ve loved her cynicism and she’s been really good up until this week, although I’m happier to see Lottie stay as there’s just as much potential I find and she’s so entertaining to boot. Her and Mark are definitely my faves left (although Sura was third).

This. At the time of release I found the whole song unlistenable because of Jay’s verse. I can look past it now but it still takes it down.
