We All Want Love and Farewell for me - once those and Talk That Talk are out then the best songs remain. Going well so far though!

I thought it would be another case of the many songs we'd heard pre-release would be the highlights as less successful pop singers like her generally do, but my god Tattoo and Born To The Night SLAP.

I really find myself warming to Juliet recently, Niamh Blackshaw's acting still isn't quite there yet but the coming to terms with her sexuality but still keeping Sid close and the romance with Peri is so interesting. I can't help but root for her now. Victor's acting though, jesus... wooden doesn't cover it :manson:

Cockiness and Red Lipstick get my votes although wouldn't be sad to see Birthday Cake go too, all three are easily the worst on what is actually a decent and overlooked album.

Close To Me is her best song for me, still sounds so fresh even after her releasing a fair bit of new material since, shame it couldn't even go top 5. Rooting for Power to do it now, second best song on the album. I do enjoy Flux and The Love I'm Given, but I can't help but feel like they're outclassed by other songs on the album which have already crashed out.

SCARLETT BOBO DID THAT!!! I'm happy Priynaka won and all but THAT lipsync!! The moment the song was revealed I was already gassed but Scarlett delivered EXACTLY what I wanted from that, absolutely perfect.

I knew Bleach would crash out earlyish which is a shame, I loved it straight away!

Best possible winner with Cry Me Out, such a fantastic song, stood the test of time better than a lot of Pixie's songs did, although I much prefer her to Jessie on the whole anyway. Also echo the sentiments that Thunder should have finished way higher - Jessie's best song by miles, then again I guess it's the people who gave it 5s and 6s that are staying silent.

Too Much is a bop, doesn't get the credit it deserves, my favourite non-single track on Aphrodite. Heart Beat Rock however is a lowlight on X, so this is an easy one for me.

I know WAM isn't for everyone as I hated it too when I first heard it but my god did it grow, such a bop.

That is incredible :lol: this is the thing, Cinderace is hard to counter... with the generic OU options. Think outside the box and the idiots using them get so shocked when they come crumbling down, was actually disappointed that my Libero Runerigus didn't attract a salty reaction!

Has anyone else seen the tactic of using Passimian with Azumarill in doubles? The latter using Misty Explosion with the former Dynamixing, inheriting Huge Power and activating a Weakness Policy is so unbelivably broken but I love it :lol:

Oh I am SO sick of seeing Libero Cinderace - people think that they're pro players just because they use it and sweep but it's ridiculously easy to win with something as OP as that. Shame as Cinderace started off as one of my favourites but now I can barely look at it, same as with Urshifu.

We should totally hold a Gen 8 rate if enough people would take part now that you've mentioned Eiscue - I absolutely LOVE the little thing. This gen has been great with bringing in interesting nichey Pokemon such as that, Runerigus, G/Slowbro, Coalossal, plus more.

This is really good, but not as good as Power. I was expecting a huge chorus from the verses which kind of brings it down a bit, but it continues the streak of great songs from her for me. Not sure if it will be successful though sadly, it seems like it'll take more to get her back to where she should be chart-wise.

This only swap the two songs over. Close To Me was so instant and took off even further to be her best song for me, it works so well in every way and fuses urban, electro and modern pop so well. A serve.

Ross but I find both irritating, just moreso with Carson who also gives more ridiculously questionable critiques, his lack of taste is appalling.
