Went for Paradise although I feel like Yeah 3X should have been included what with it being Calvin Harris’ production. That would have got my vote otherwise.

At the expense of sounding extremely Smogon, G/Slowbro is actually giving me everything right now. Quick Draw & Quick Claw means that half of the time it’ll go first against anything, plus with Belly Drum and a heavy Sp. Atk investment it’s an incredible mixed attacker. Doesn’t always work but so much fun to use.

Titanium/Gecko to win. Both of them are untouchable in terms of modern dance hits. Hideaway is ridiculously overrated imo, extremely uneventful song. Would not have that in the top 10 at all personally.

Breathe is an absolute 11/10 banger, sad to see it crash out as soon as this!

I managed to get a shiny Horsea through breeding like 7 just to get one with Sniper! Funnily enough it didn't have Sniper but I grafted for an Ability Capsule, training it up now to make it into the beast it has proven to be on Showdown - Sniper + Scope Lens + Dragon Dance + Scale Shot has proven to work an absolute treat! Plus access to Iron Head made short work of any Clefables/Hatterenes/Grimmsnarls that have popped up.

Neither of which had much that they were good at - the former could act and the latter could dance but not a lot more, and they were both pretty irritating, Cheryl moreso.

01: Close To Me (one of my favourite songs of 2018, clicked with me straight away and my love for it has only grown stronger. Such great production from Diplo and I find Swae's verse to be a nice addition actually) 02: Power (my god it's such a banger, really hope it can be a success for her) 03: Hate Me (I get the criticism for this as it's very different for her and quite dark, not to mention repetitive but for me it bangs, psycho anthem) 04: Worry About Me (same with above only I hated this at first but it's grown on me so much) 05: Sixteen (I like it, just not as much as the others) 06: Flux (same as above)

With how much discussion the new album is getting and the many games that have been played with Teenage Dream, I'm interested to see how people's opinions on this album as a whole have changed. It's also a shining example of an album full of songs that should. Have. Been. Singles. Walking On Air is such a bop and I heard it as a student in so many bars and it hits even harder after a few drinks. The following few songs are all outstanding ballads and really connect with me, and don't see enough appreciation I find.

Only over the last year around the point where I was excited for Lover to come out did some of the songs really click with me far more than before and I began to really see this album as a masterpiece, only slightly less than 1989 and Lover anyway. 01 // Call It What You Want 02 // ...Ready For It? 03 // Delicate 04 // Getaway Car 05 // I Did Something Bad 06 // Look What You Made Me Do 07 // This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things 08 // Don't Blame Me 09 // End Game 10 // So It Goes 11 // King Of My Heart 12 // Dancing With Our Hands Tied 13 // New Year's Day 14 // Gorgeous 15 // Dress 01-06 are all 10/10s. CIWYW I always loved but hit me more than ever this year, it's such a stunning song. Gorgeous and Dress I don't dislike, I'd give them about a 6, but the former is a little cringey and Dress lacks what CIWYW and Delicate have in terms of the sort of song it is, it just feels empty.

I find Can We Pretend so underrated, it's such a banger and different to what she normally does. I think it could have potentially been mildly successful had it gotten more promotion, but then again the production doesn't quite gel with a lot of fans.

Agreed on the whole situation with Lottie, as a person she’s foul and I hate myself for finding her so entertaining. She’s the epitome of “overheard in Waitrose” plus the whole condescending nature which sounds too fake to be real is hilarious. Sort of sad to see Ryan Mark go but he really should have, he was pretty terrible overall and despite also being entertaining and coming out with some hilarious quotes and outbursts, he was done. Rooting for a Pamela and Scarlett final, don’t mind which one wins but both are so lovely and always remain calm, plus neither have had a major slip-up yet. Jemelin was my overall favourite though. :(
