The songs we already heard are the highlights on first listen but I also love Fantasize, Marijuana and I’m The Man, the rest I can picture growing on more listens. I’d actually say Nicole Kidman is probably the least impactful so interesting that she chose to give this a video and a bit of extra attention.

I actually quite like how unpredictable it is for the top spot after many, many, many weeks of dullness, even if the songs aren't exactly new. Obviously I'd much rather it be Hugel out of the other contenders - Dolly I wouldn't mind out of respect, Sienna I'd be happy with but not as much as Hugel, and then there are two country songs, one of which has aged like milk in the space of a couple of months and the other has always been tosh.

Hurt was absolutely my winner but I went for One Day Like This, even though it’s like choosing between Tesco own brand vanilla ice cream and Asda own brand vanilla ice cream.

Katie Boulter has fallen 6-0 6-1 to Karolina Muchova and honestly it was a combo of the former having nothing working and the latter being in god mode. I would actually rather Katie have lost this way if it means Karolina can go far and even win this slam after missing out on her second final. Also shocked that Jodar is doing so badly! I had him down as a minimum QF with the form he’s been in! Great win for Fran though!

Spoiler This makes sense, was expecting a death this series as since the reboot there’s been a series pattern of death/no death/death/no death etc. My money’s on Ashton as I think they’ll leave Stella’s family alone after Hope’s death, and he’s been on more of a full circle journey from wayward kid to good kid, I can see it coming. Hope I’m wrong and it’s Ben though as he’s far less likeable even if it sadly tears Stella apart. It’s also been reported that Portia has a “big storyline” coming… I hope it’s not her! Could maybe be Schuey though?

I’m not being delulu in thinking she’ll come back in right? The Dolly entries were bound to push some songs out, but the song is everywhere, moreso than the Temper City and Malcolm Todd tunes which I personally hear nowhere and still linger like a ketchup stain on a t-shirt. Plus her album will be out next week which could get a few extra streams in there (not that I’m expecting the album to do much chartwise).

If Adela has dropped out then I hope it won’t be for long. Her album’s out next Friday so that could see her jump back in the week after if she doesn’t come back in next week.

I’m so interested to see what happens in this series and see how different it is to the second book after how different the first series was, regardless it really was such a gripping watch and Ella is an absolute star!

People are being disgusting towards Ginger after she posted a picture and tribute to Dolly Parton (who she actually did meet) and a parody page used AI to replace her with another woman and even though you can tell by the hands and arms that it’s fake, Ginger had hit back at these people making comments and instead “fans” are doubling down saying that she deserved it for being a pathological liar. I may not be the fan of hers that I used to be, and why she made so much stuff up prior to this astounds me, but it really has me wondering why twinks of a certain headspace find the need to be so rotten to people they don’t even know. People have also sent loads of hate and death threats to Art just because she’s being pushed on vs the World and she’s clearly not a bad person, but it’s really affecting her. I can list so many queens who get this kind of hate and aside from those who have been predators (Sh*rry/S*ju), bigots (Sh*ron/N*na B*nina) or nasty bullies who behave the same way these so called fans do (Plane/Mistress) there’s little reason for people to act so vile. These kids weren’t raised right.

Ugh I wish I was wrong about Abigail but I saw it coming. Definitely shows how good Brooke is an actress though with how she often has me fooled into thinking she’s lovely and doesn’t have an ulterior motive. It’s also interesting to see this angle used for this kind of storyline, as uncomfortable as it can be.

I think it was "I'll love you until the day I die, Ste" - James arranged these cupcakes and got Beth to deliver them but she dropped them outside of his front door. Absolutely incredible if you ask me 😭
