There's something about 'something about you' that everyone I've played it to seems to love. I think it would be a really good single choice - shame it doesn't look like it's going to be.

What You're Made of 24+ Breathe In 15- Sinking In 24

Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up has been pushed back a week to April 16th by Parlophone now

Technically if we organised a mass download of SAY from iTunes, we could get it into the top 40 or so - and then hopefully Mercury would see how everyone loves it so much & hopefully release it as a 'proper' single! I don't think it's that much of a long shot to be honest - Lucie has a strong fan base & if we can get an album to number 62 with no promotion and two (undeservedly) 'flop' :( singles, I think we could pull this off!

YAY for Siobhan! I'm really, really pleased for her!

It's an iTunes exclusive I'm afraid - but it's been removed from the iTunes store now anyway :(

Yay for Place To Hide - but I still think we needed somethin catchy like 'Something About You' or even 'Alone' but Mercury don't seem to have any plans for either of them :S :(

20. Amy Winehouse - Rehab 19. Will Young - All Time Love 18. James Morrison - You Give Me Something 17. Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin' 16. The Kooks - Naïve 15. My friend was killed in a carcrash last week, and it was his funeral yesterday & The Calling 'Wherever you go' was played as the coffin was brought in. I'll never be able to listen to that song in the same state of mind again. :(

I love it! Won't be a massive hit - but will hopefully shift a few copies of the album! I will still never forgive her for never releasing 'First Time' or 'Straight jacket' from affirmation though!

Shame to see Lucie drop - hope she picks up a bit - but it's unlikley

Mikey, could you tell me how comfortable Lucie is sitting within the 'Top 40' of the album chart, please?

Thank goodness for top 40 for Lucie!! Let's hope it's top 30 by saturday

Singles - N/A Albums - Lucie Silvas - The Same Side Joss Stone - Introducing Joss Stone Downloads - Calvin Harris - Acceptable In The 80's Maximo Park - Our Velocity Sugababes Vs. Girls Aloud - Walk This Way That's all this week I think

Lucie's album reviews haven't been that bad at all!! Overall it's been more well recieved that Joss Stone's latest offering! Anyway - one first listen I wasn't blown away (like Breathe In) but overall it grows much more than Breathe In. I just hope it can make top 40 - hopefully top 20!

Hehe Marly - Just incase we all got Amneisa & forgot :P I'm heading out to get mine before College in a minute. YAY!

I expected that to be honest - of you have a look on the Lucie Silvas iTunes music store page - sinking in is only her 30th most downloaded song, so I wouldn't imagine that even that many downloads were sold, which is such a shame. Hopefully the album will do better today!

:( I still can't believe 'Spoiled' is her lowest charting single - it's sublime.

Yay for Nelly - hopefully she can hold that. Shame about Regina - I thought for certain it would be a top 10 hit. Is there any news on the album at all mikey? Wasn't it re-issued, or re-stocked or something this week?

I think that's a bit harsh to be honest Paul. I don't think the (non-exsistent) promo for the single or the album is anywhere near what it needs to be, but I'm sure they must be doing something? I mean Lucie was a big success with Breathe In. Why abandon her on the second album? It's all absurd, especially as they promoted her brillantly with the singles from Breathe In (bar FMN)

It's not released for ages yet - I wouldn't worry.

That was me who made her cackle! YAY!

Probably due to hardly any promo, and it was christmas week!

Well downloads have only been counted towards the chart since Jan 2007, so the fact TGIW, DLB, FMN & LY charted low wouldn't be anything to with the download situation, so the pyshical chat peaks would be... WYMO:7 BI:6 TGIW:38 DLB:34 FMN:76 LY:79

I suppose with the official forum being back up again - most of us have vacated back to where we started.
