It's actually not that hard to do. I know it was a charity single but when Peter Kay & Matt Lucas released 500 Miles, it was released on download at 8pm on the Friday night. It charted at #3 on the Sunday.

I purchased it at 2pm bang on. Amazing. I reckon it'll be #1 by 6pm-ish tonight but narrowly miss the UK #1 on Sunday but will then get the top spot next week.

How long before it hits #1 on iTunes?? I'm guessing 6pm today, narrowly missing the #1 spot on Sunday but getting it next week no problem.

Can I have an update on We Are Scientists please?? I want them to do well so badly!! Already downloaded the single off iTunes and bought the 7".

Jesus!! That's awful!!! I was hoping for #200-ish!! How many does that mean they've sold roughly?? 300 downloads??

Any news on "Rules Don't Stop" by We Are Scientists?? Brilliant song by a brilliant band which was released today. Majority of their other singles have made Top 40 at least.

I think "Holiday" will go #1 the week it is released on downloads and then "Get Sexy" will knock it off the following week just for "Holiday" to go back to #1 the following week. That sounds pretty reasonable.
