  1. 60. DIANA VICKERS No. of hits - 6 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit rpkxgDpCyAc Oh Diana, our alternative X Factor queen. Her "unique" voice divided the nation as did her "claw" but she served up a really good debut album. Unfortunately she sank without a trace and a more straightforward pop second album did nothing. 59. TOVE LO No. of hits - 5 (1 Number One/5 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit XsFneCExrCQ SEX. DRUGS. DRINK. BOOBS. That pretty much sums up Tove Lo but by God do I love her. 58. COLDPLAY No. of hits - 6 (6 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit YykjpeuMNEk There's not many lists counting down the best of the decade where Coldplay wouldn't be top 10 but they are so hit and miss for me. I do appreciate the more pop-leaning sound they've adopted it but their songs frequently end up irritating me. 57. ADAM LAMBERT No. of hits - 7 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit Ix8ocFEMa1o Adam Lambert is literally the only male American Idol contestant worth anything (except maybe Adore Delano) and it is so refreshing to see a gay singer really embrace his camp side - it helps that his voice is literally incredible. Some of his material can be patchy but 'Ghost Town' should have been a worldwide number 1. 56. KELLY CLARKSON No. of hits - 6 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit Xn676-fLq7I And here comes the biggest Idol of them all. Kelly's long absences have damaged her here as well as the underwhelming 'Piece By Piece' album. 'Stronger' really did reignite her career and I am confident that she can smash again... just not with 'Love So Soft'.

  5. 65. KANYE WEST No. of hits - 8 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit -SoKFycTmVU One of the most controversial figures of the decade, Kanye has in my opinion shaped hip-hop and introduced a whole alternative and electronic side to it. 'Yeezus' is one of ym favourite albums of the decade but Kanye is more of an albums artist than one with hit singles, which is why he doesn't do better here. 64. SIGMA No. of hits - 8 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit DQF5aHVOW5s One of those acts who keep pumping hits out with a bit of variation and big name collaborations to keep the interest there - I have no great love for Sigma, they're here due to a large amount of singles. 63. CHER LLOYD No. of hits - 5 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit sdbyG2MrBHk Um yeah. Not really sure how that one happened other than I REALLY loved that first album. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. 62. THE VERONICAS No. of hits - 5 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit xQzif_nVt0A It was so great to see The Veronicas return after a long absence with the beautiful 'You Ruin Me'. Then last year they released the brilliant 'In My Blood' and 'On Your Side' but there's been no news of an album since so I'm praying they're not stuck in label hell again. 61. MILEY CYRUS No. of hits - 4 (2 Number Ones/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit LrUvu1mlWco Bangerz. What an album. She should have released about 6 singles and skipped 'Adore You' entirely. She also should have capitalised on her notoriety and released another album in 2015 instead of whatever 'Dead Petz' was. Thankfully she's finally released 'Younger Now' so expect her to climb a little bit next year.
  6. 70. SCISSOR SISTERS No. of hits - 5 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit E3m-XH1Kij0 'Only The Horses' should have smashed - pure euphoria and a Calvin Harris production should have made instant success but it wasn't to be. I do sorely miss Scissor Sisters, quite arguably the gayest act to cross over into the mainstream. 69. NICK JONAS No. of hits - 4 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit yw04QD1LaB0 'Jealous' is such a tune - I really like his brand of sexy R&b-Pop but he never releases his best songs as singles - Teacher and Under You would have been better for his career. Oh, and he's absolutely gorgeous too. 68. MADONNA No. of hits - 5 (2 Number Ones/5 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit u9h7Teiyvc8 It feels wrong to have a legend so low but truth be told, Madonna doesn't hit the same highs as she used to. I genuinely enjoyed the 'Rebel Heart' album but the less said about 'MDNA' the better... 67. DRAKE No. of hits - 5 (5 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit -zzP29emg Drake's blend of melancholy hip-hop is one that I've really got accustomed to. I actually can't listen to 'One Dance' anymore but 'Take Care' and 'Hold On, We're Going Home' are great sad-bangers. 66. CHASE & STATUS No. of hits - 8 (5 top 10 hits) Biggest hit t9pU9FPz-dk The masters of UK drum & bass have always kept their sound fresh by merging elements of house, rap and rock into their music. Unfortunately, everything from their latets album has left me cold.
  7. 1. (2) Tove Lo – Disco Tits [2] 2. (1) Taylor Swift – Look What You Made Me Do [5] 3. (9) The xx – Dangerous [2] 4. (6) Avicii ft Rita Ora – Lonely Together [4] 5. (18) The Killers – Run For Cover [2] 11. (14) Nadine Coyle – Go To Work [2] 12. (7) Sigrid – Plot Twist [3] 13. (NE) Lorde ft Khalid, SZA & Post Malone – Homemade Dynamite [1] 14. (8) CNCO & Little Mix – Reggaeton Lento [5] 15. (13) Stefflon Don ft French Montana – Hurtin’ Me [5] 16. (10) Justin Bieber ft BloodPop – Friends [6] 17. (20) Cardi B – Bodak Yellow [3] 18. (12) Camila Cabello ft Young Thug – Havana [7] 19. (23) Fifth Harmony – He Like That [2] 20. (NE) Harry Styles – Two Ghosts [1] 21. (15) P!nk – What About Us [7] 22. (17) Kelela – LMK [6] 23. (19) HAIM – Little Of Your Love [5] 24. (NE) Everything Everything – Desire [1] 25. (16) Snakehips ft Anne-Marie & Joey Badass – Either Way [7] 26. (22) J Balvin & Willy Williams – Mi Gente [4] 27. (21) Charli XCX – Boys [9] 28. (26) Dua Lipa – New Rules [11] 29. (24) Steps – Neon Blue [7] 30. (25) Kendrick Lamar ft Rihanna – LOYALTY. [4]
  8. 75. EMELI SANDE No. of hits - 6 (2 Number Ones/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit -nwdjQmc_N8 Back in 2012 there was a period when Emeli Sande was absolutely inescapable and that is where the majority of her hits came from. Fearing overexposure she then took a lengthy absence which really affected her popularity - however there is no denying her voice or songwriting ability. 74. ALUNAGEORGE No. of hits - 6 (5 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit NSdcG1e9APE The slinky vocals of Aluna mixed with an alternative electronic production was a match made in heaven. The dancier material of the second album was a good change of direction but recent releases have been generic and forgettable. 73. MAJOR LAZER No. of hits - 5 (2 Number Ones/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit YqeW9_5kURI No surprises there with their biggest track - 'Lean On' was really a cultural behemoth and made Major Lazer a household name. Their wide-ranging influences give their dancehall tracks a unique flair - they really misstep for me. 72. LEONA LEWIS No. of hits - 7 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit E4a82LRNdlQ Poor Leona has suffered ever dwindling success and relevance since the turn of the decade as attempts to freshen up her sound didn't quite pay off - I however though 'Glasshouse' was her best album and 'One More Sleep' has already become a christmas classic for me. 71. HURTS No. of hits - 8 (1 Number One/5 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit HrAclaz5GvA Hurts was a very brief obsession of mine - it soon became apparent that they couldn't really evolve their sound although that debut album is still pop brilliance.
  9. 1. (1) Taylor Swift – Look What You Made Me Do [4] 2. (NE) Tove Lo – Disco Tits [1] 3. (5) Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It? [2] 4. (3) Mollie King – Hair Down [3] 5. (2) Miley Cyrus – Younger Now [4] 6. (9) Avicii ft Rita Ora – Lonely Together [3] 7. (11) Sigrid – Plot Twist [2] 8. (4) CNCO & Little Mix – Reggaeton Lento [4] 9. (NE) The xx – Dangerous [1] 10. (6) Justin Bieber & BloodPop – Just Friends [5] 11. (18) Paloma Faith – Crybaby [2] 12. (7) Camila Cabello ft Young Thug – Havana [6] 13. (16) Stefflon Don ft French Montana – Hurtin’ Me [4] 14. (NE) Nadine Coyle – Go To Work [1] 15. (8) P!nk – What About Us [6[ 16. (10) Snakehips ft Anne-Marie & Joey Badass – Either Way [6] 17. (12) Kelela – LMK [5] 18. (NE) The Killers – Run For Cover [1] 19. (14) HAIM – Little Of Your Love [4] 20. (24) Cardi B – Bodak Yellow [2] 21. (15) Charli XCX – Boys [8] 22. (13) J Balvin ft Willy Williams – Mi Gente [3] 23. (19) James Hype ft Kelli-Leigh – More Than Friends [5] 29. (23) Louis Tomlinson ft Bebe Rexha – Back To You [7] 30. (25) Toddla T ft Andrea Martin – Magnet [5]
  10. 80. JESS GLYNNE No. of hits - 5 (2 Number Ones/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit cLyUcAUMmMY Sucessie Glynne makes a dent on this list with only one album under her belt. Obviously if you factored her collaborations in she would be a lot higher - but that was too much like hard work. If she survives the 2nd album curse for UK females she may keep working her way up this list. 79. DUA LIPA No. of hits - 4 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit fEOyePhElr4 And now our next two acts make this list before they even got their albums out. There was a period of time that it seemed like 'Be The One' was the biggest Dua would ever get before the mammoth 'New Rules' was unleashed and is guaranteed to mean that Dua will shoot up this list next year. 78. ZARA LARSSON No. of hits - 4 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit tD4HCZe-tew Here's Dua's closest competitor who just edges her this year. Lush Life was absolutely everywhere but Zara has struggled to keep up with it with every subsequent release being less successful. And as for launching the album with the forgettable 'So Good' - her A&R needs to be fired. 77. SUB FOCUS No. of hits - 6 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit B8vlk1UR99k A bit of a surprise appearance here from dance/drum & bass artist Sub Focus who scored a run of top 10 hits with his second album - everyone should check out the featured video as 'Tidal Wave' is sublime. 76. GRIMES No. of hits - 4 (2 Number Ones/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit c2EJMd7ZN7w My spooky alternative pop queen Grimes smashes into the charts. 'Art Angels' remains one of my favourite albums of the decade, it's just a shame I wasn't checking for her during the 'Visions' era otherwise she would be a lot higher.
  11. 85. CHRIS BROWN No. of hits - 6 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit QOowQeKyNkQ Awful person, some decent bops. 84. DUKE DUMONT No. of hits - 5 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit FnJIb4A-DuY King of summer dance hits - it takes a special producer to make house music that doesn't age quickly and also adapts his sound without seeming genre-chasing. 'Won't Look Back' remains my favourite but it was his debut with A*M*E that made the most impact on my chart. 83. REBECCA FERGUSON No. of hits - 5 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit pUUU5LSbYHA Rebecca is the first of 9 X Factor acts to show up on this countdown and is the most underrated of all of them. Her voice is so unique but quite often her material veers too far into mumsy/MOR territory when there is more potential on the upbeat stuff on the second album. 82. ROBYN No. of hits - 5 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit CcNo07Xp8aQ Considering Robyn hasn't released an album since 2010 this is really quite an achievement. Of course it is the amazing 'Dancing On My Own' that makes up more than a 1/3 of her points (Calum Scott has a lot to answer for). Seriously release another album woman! 81. CARLY RAE JEPSEN No. of hits - 4 (2 Number Ones/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit TeccAtqd5K8 A surprising early exit for Buzzjack's favourite flop, I am sure Carly can work her way up this list.
  12. 90. KIESZA No. of hits - 3 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit Vnoz5uBEWOA Obviously this placement is due to one MASSIVE single. She was always to be destined to be a flash-in-the-pan success with that unique voice. 'Hideaway' is still a banger, even if its glamour has faded a bit. 89. NATALIA KILLS No. of hits - 6 (3 top 10 hits) Biggest hit ayVuQLT00v0 Probably the only place you'll see Natalia Kills in a top 100 list, this glorious flop started off as a Gaga clone before carving out her own identity. She served up two really rather good albums before the X Factor NZ debacle and is now releasing music under yet another moniker 'Cruel Youth'. 88. NEON JUNGLE No. of hits - 4 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit 3iJeEAZM5xk Well they didn't last very long did they. A bit of an alternative to your usual girlband, Neon Jungle had aggressive beats and a whole lot of attitude but failed to leave much of an impression. The double whammy of 'Braveheart' and 'Welcome To The Jungle' means they've earned their place though. 87. RUDIMENTAL No. of hits - 6 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit oABEGc8Dus0 Rudimental are probably the most successful drum & bass act ever and their first album really was something special featuring the best of new British talent as the vocalists. Unfortunately for me, everything they've released since has left me cold and recent hit 'Sun Comes Up' is very generic and suggests they've somewhat lost their edge. 86. MAROON 5 No. of hits - 5 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest hit iEPTlhBmwRg Maroon 5's transformation into trend-chasing radio darlings has split people right down the middle. They've released plenty of singles during this period but so many didn't chart for being too annoying... although I actually detest their biggest hit 'Moves Like Jagger' now too.
  13. 95. THE VACCINES No. of hits - 6 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit bFUKrsDDChE The Vaccines' brand of raucous indie rock is tremendous fun, even if they have slowed down a bit in recent years. They are an excellent festival band and rather weirdly their most famous song 'If You Wanna' didn't even chart on my chart. 94. NERO No. of hits - 5 (4 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit llDikI2hTtk Riding the wave of popularity of dubstep in the early part of the decade Nero scored a surprising official Number One with the almighty 'Promises'. Their second album couldn't quite adapt with the changing musical landscape although 'Two Minds' was an absolute banger. 93. USHER No. of hits - 6 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit CQf13Mbza9k Now into his third decade as an artist Usher keeps scoring big hits every couple of years a so. Surprisingly, it's the underrated 'More' that made the most impact on my chart due to my obsession with everything RedOne due to a certain other popstar... 92. GALANTIS No. of hits - 4 (1 Number One/4 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit 4jBDnYE1WjI Galantis have the knack of distilling pure joy in a pop/dance song. The vocal effects may border on annoying but it's all part of their charm. If they manage to keep up their hit ratio you can expect them to move up the list in the next few years. 91. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE No. of hits - 5 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit uuZE_IRwLNI Justin Timberlake may be seen as one of the biggest popstars on the planet but the long absences between releases damage him on this list. It's no surprises that 'Mirror's was his biggest hit on my chart - when he and Timbaland get it right they are untouchable. The less said about 'Can't Stop The Feeling' the better.
  14. 100. ARCTIC MONKEYS No. of hits - 6 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit bpOSxM0rNPM Arguably my favourite band, Arctic Monkeys suffer from being on hiatus for the last few years. Their 5th album 'AM' was a big favourite of mine and their three big singles from that one help them inch into the countdown. 99. SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA No. of hits - 5 (5 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit fbafd6UV3w4 Swedish House Mafia were a massive dance force at the beginning of the decade but their disbandment in 2012 mean they can't go much further. They were well known for their big euphoric floorfillers but it was the edgier Knife Party collaboration 'Antidote' that really took off on my chart. 98. NICOLA ROBERTS No. of hits - 3 (1 Number One/3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit HN39CQW3Tqw The definition of a "Marmite" vocalist, Nicola was always my favourite member of Girls Aloud for being something a little different to the other girls. Unfortunately we only got one album from her and there doesn't seem to be any sign of new material but as Nadine has recently proved - Never say Never. 97. STOOSHE No. of hits - 4 (4 Top 10 hits Biggest Hit RgbKKZWZuQo For a brief moment in time StooShe looked to be the next big British girlband - almost a new version of the Sugababes. These girls could sing and they were also diverse. Unfortunately they torpedoed their career with an ill-judged cover of TLC's 'Waterfalls' and quickly lost any credibility 'Black Heart' had gained for them. A shame. 96. ONEREPUBLIC No. of hits - 6 (3 Top 10 hits) Biggest Hit hT_nvWreIhg OneRepublic are one of those bands that you forget about for a while until they come back with a massive hit - they struck big this decade with 'Counting Stars' but they've struggled to keep momentum up. However, there is no denying lead singer Ryan Tedder's ability as a songwriter.
  15. So I have a bit of time on my hands so I've decided to do a countdown of the most successful artists from my personal charts 2010-2016, all based on points. Hopefully you'll all enjoy it and there might be a few surprises...
