  6. http://www.thisischeshire.co.uk/display.va...ta_actually.php He was in London??? Is this to be televised?? Bafta, actually Comment HONOUR: Richard Curtis SCREENWRITER and Comic Relief founder Richard Curtis received the BAFTA Academy Fellowship last night. Mr Curtis, who lived on Windmill Lane, Appleton, during the 1970s, was honoured with a five-minute citation by Stephen Fry and showbusiness luminaries, including Dawn French, Hugh Grant and Robbie Williams, at the glittering awards ceremony at the London Palladium last night. His role as the founder of Comic Relief -- effectively the man who invented Red Nose Day -- and also for helping to raise £500 million for charity was also honoured. Richard Curtis began as Rowan Atkinson's scriptwriter, worked on Not The Nine O'Clock News, was co-creator and co-writer of Blackadder, and penned the Vicar of Dibley, before having runaway success in the cinema with a string of hit romantic comedies, including Four Weddings And A Funeral, Notting Hill and Love, Actually. He lived in Warrington when his father, a Unilever executive, was working locally. Did you know Richard Curtis when he lived in Warrington? Let us know.

  16. The VH1 Rock Honors show is showing this Thursday and a friend said she heard an ad on the radio about it and they were saying who all would be there and she swears she heard Robbie Williams. And it could be possible because they film the show a few weeks ahead of time and Robbie was just in Vegas last week wasn't he? And one of the honoree's is Ozzy, and he's good friends with him. so just MAYBE!!!! So all you American's, set your DVR's!!!! Thursday May 24th, 9/8c!! :cheer:

And Rob said "if you'd like to channel through anyone...please pick me! Or at least give me a nice middle 8!" And yes...he was tres adorable, as usual.
