Cheryl down to 7 and 61 with her first two versions, although the third has climbed a bit to 90.

Wow, there's a real shake-up in the top ten this week. Hard to believe that just yesterday at one point or another Wake Me Up was as low as #19 whilst Real Love and I Don't Care were both #2 at one point now to be found at #6 and #7. Really glad for The Veronicas. Definitely not a boring chart this week.

How much of streaming is included in Tuesday's midweeks? If all of it is there them I think Ed will be #1, and if none of it is included, well, I still think he could be #1. I'm not sure that what GM/ASC has sold in three hours or less is enough to take it from him, even if their lead is huge. Definitely #1 on Wednesday, though.

Thing is, they already have many Greatest Hits albums which have sold astonishingly well, and I'm thinking will people just buy those instead? Cheryl is now dropping: Only Human down to 5 (from 4), 46 (down from 32), and 95 (down from 76).

Ew at that All Star Choir crap.

I heard that a lot of people think Night Changes isn't very single-worthy. I think with only having two albums left in their current contract (one of which is confirmed to be a greatest hits), they're being quite left-field, if you will, and releasing unexpected singles that will show off their growth musically rather than singles that will be instant smashes and set the charts on fire. They don't need singles to sell an album anyway as proven.

Looks like Queen could underperform given their iTunes and Amazon positions unless the documentary really helps them out. Can't see Cheryl higher than #6. She might be top 5 in the first midweek update though.

Haaaaa. Where is everybody that said Steal My Girl was flopping and that it didn't stand a chance of climbing higher than #3?

Samuel is slaying. Fourth top ten hit from In the Lonely Hour this weekend (unless you count La La La, in which case it'll be the fifth).

Unpopular opinion: 1D for #1. Sam's voice is somewhat annoying. Already up to #46 though; impressive.

Predict Only Human's debut sales
I know that this might seem like a strange comparison, but I'm just noticing its iTunes and Amazon positions in relation with where Calvin Harris's album was at this point lask week: Motion was #14 on iTunes; Only Human is currently #66 (it was in the late 20s earlier in the week following the releases of the promo singles). Motion was in the 40s on Amazon; Only Human is #77 at the moment. Based on this it's not looking likely that she will sell 40k, which is about what Calvin will do this week. Once again, I know that Calvin and Cheryl cater to different audiences, but as both are seemingly underperforming it's perhaps something to take into account.

Enormously pleased for Tom Odell. I'd like him to be next week's #1. :D

Predict Only Human's debut sales
4 people predicting 21-30k... The album is doomed for eternity if it sells 30,000 or less. DOOMED.

Tom Odell, interesting choice! Should raise his profile quite a bit; I think he's all but forgotten since he finished promotion for his debut album. He has a really nice voice.

Predict Pink Floyd's The Endless River - Nov 10th
#1 with ease, anywhere upwards of 150k+.
-
Predict Only Human's debut sales
41-45k and a #5 or #6 debut. Pink Floyd, Foo Fighters, Queen and Ed Sheeran will all outsell her, and I wouldn't put it past Sam Smith to outsell her as well after his X Factor performance on Sunday night.

Motion • Fourth Album
I enjoyed it, although certain tracks, including Summer (why was this released as the lead single?!), are fillers; others sound either similar or in some cases identical. As a dance album it serves its purpose: it's a floor filler and every song bar the Hurts collaboration makes you want to move.

 I like Hurts but I can't imagine how a collaboration between them and Calvin would sound. Quite laid back I suppose, the oddball in an album of otherwise uptempos.

Oh, surely there should already be confirmed news of an artist and title, then? When was Lily and her cover of Somewhere Only We Know confirmed?

When does the John Lewis song premiere? Ed doing it would be great; I can't get sick of him although I don't think it'll be him. I didn't realise next week was such a huge week for albums -- could Cheryl only debut at 4? :o

Motion • Fourth Album
I'll be buying this tomorrow. I stanned for Calvin back in his early I Created Disco days and then didn't buy anything else from him. Obviously his music has changed big time since then. If I expect 15 danceable, generic EDM thumpers and nothing more can I be reassured that I won't be disappointed?
