  1. Album sales were generally higher on Wednesday than on Thursday. Sales wise I'd say Take That are looking at 135-140k, Ed 95-100k and AC/DC 85-90k. George Ezra will most likely climb above McBusted which will see them drop to #8. ElectroBoy, if you're wondering, Listen to the Man is currently #49, which is up from the late 50s on Tuesday so it is climbing. :) Since it's #23 on iTunes and he's performing on Alan Carr tonight, I don't suppose it could hit the top 20 next week.
  2. Yas please. Did Sam Bailey do promo in the past few days? She's been at 47 for the past few days, including yesterday, and the sales gap between 40 and 47 was quite substantial percentage wise.
  3. Yaaaassss somebody who thinks that Runaway should be a single too. :cheer:  I want I'm a Mess as the next single. Aside from the two you mentioned, I think Photograph could do well too.
  4. https://play.google.com/store/music/collect...f9_best_of_2014 Full list of albums on offer on Google Play -- seems they're doing a Best Of 2014 offer. I doubt they bring in many sales at all, though.
  5. I think it's likely that x will outsell + in time. No.
  6. I'd like to switch Light Years and Aphrodite around from my list: 1 Body Language 2 Fever 3 X 4 Light Years 5 Aphrodite 6 Kiss Me Once I don't mind Bittersweet Goodbye, in fact I think the dislike it gets is unnecessary, and although lyrically it sounds fine following Please Stay I feel that musically it spoils the fluency of the album. As such, I think Light Years would be better without it.
  7. Do TT have any high profile promo over the rest of the month? My belief is that should make the most of Christmas sales whilst they can because I think it will begin to drop quickly once the new year comes. Past albums show that they are unlikely to score any other large hits from the album.
  8. Good! XD I wish others would give it a better chance too.
  9. Ed's album did outsell Take That's yesterday... The embarrassment is real.
  10. So Ed sold 2,000 more yesterday. He could be back at the top tomorrow if we get an update. Hope sales info comes in later too.
  11. Either yesterday was a low sales day for some reason, or Take That's decline is just caused by massive erosion. 10k after selling 85k on then first day is awful. There's a possibility that Ed Sheeran's album sold more than that.
  12. Fever is so good. It's a masterclass in how to craft sparkling modern pop music, immaculate from start to finish (as well as a number of outtakes). However Body Language is still better. Her other albums from Parlaphone are unmatchable to them. Impossible Princess, Body Language and Fever are ha masterpieces, untouched.
  13. That sales increase for x, though... It had 'only' sold 14.9k at this point last week. Before anyone asks, Cheryl's album is #50... Quite a small drop in comparison to the decreases it has been having.
  14. Well it won't, so tough. Disappointed that we haven't got an update today especially since it's clear that several sources have information, but I suppose it makes tomorrow's update more worthwhile.
  15. Paper Dolls is SO much better.
  16. How much did Progress sell in its first day? It would be easier to predict a weekly number for III if we had information on how much pre-orders they sold. Looks like it will end up being the highest debut of the year, though. I hope McBusted are top ten and that they stay there.
  17. He sold over 55,000 copies last week so with the boost from X Factor I'm pretty sure he'll sell more this coming week. As usual Union J will trail off horribly as the week progresses and with lack of streaming Ed will take the #1.
  18. The entire top seven have over 70% on LivePopBars; I can't remember a time when such a high percentage covered so many placings. Ben Haenow is performing Thinking Out Loud on X Factor; it will receive an increase from it but with it being less than 25% away from #1 I wouldn't be surprised if it's at the very least near the top tomorrow night, especially with it being the second highest seller of the day in Thursday's midweek update.
  19. Ed Sheeran's x will fall short of a million copies by Sunday and then will have passed that threshold by the time we get next Tuesday's midweeks. He pulled it off so effortlessly; I don't want to hear people make up excuses as to why their faves haven't been able to sell albums in 2014...
  20. In fairness it didn't rise so high on iTunes until yesterday so that's probably misleading. She should put her music back on Spotify; it was an utterly stupid decision of her to remove it from the service.
  21. Yes, I skimmed passed the Amazon mention in the headline.
