Sunday Chart Predictions
It's worth noting that Songs of Innocence isn't actually a climber at 37 -- the original is down 58-75 and then Songs of Innocence + (I'm assuming the iTunes release has additional material) is new inside the top 40.

Lol he'll sell far more than 50k. I think what the poster means is 1D could potentially take the #1 from him, but I think he'll get it.

Sunday Chart Predictions
I'm not sure if they will be. I don't think their first week sales will be high enough for them to keep it even when their sales start increasing as Christmas approaches. Ed's album will be having insane increases in the next few weeks and especially in December, as will Sam's but I can't see him being competition.

It sold over 237,000 copies; the sales are right there in black and white posts above yours.

If you insist on giving them a critical name can you think of something more creative than Poo Direction, please? :P I think they'll be somewhere in between 175-200k. Is their any information on how it's done on pre-orders?

Sunday Chart Predictions (Friday Update)
Music Week are a mess all of the time. People pay good, hard-earned money for their subscription and they always either have countless errors in their report updates, mess something up in official day-to-day updates or sometimes just abruptly not post at all. After not receiving a Thursday update at all they better sort this out.

I came in here to say exactly this.

So I assume Ella's X Factor performance is for 30 November? Who will be the other guest act on with her, and have a set of acts for 23 November been confirmed yet? [slightly off-topic; apologies.]

Sunday Chart Predictions (Friday Update)
GM/ASC is beginning to lose sales on LivePopBars but I suspect that it will surely begin increasing again when Friday nears and they perform it on CIN.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2014
I didn't watch it, but I suspect that it probably didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if not that many people know it's even out, to be honest.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2014
It looks like my theory about Queen's documentary is accurate: the deluxe of Queen Forever has climbed a tad from 14-13, with the standard edition rising 63-41, but The Platinum Collection has raced up to 20 and their other Greatest Hits has similarly sprinted to 31. It looks like the majority of people just bought these two instead -- and who can blame them? They are superior. Meanwhile, Cheryl is down to 11, 106 and 114. Her situation is dire, a raging disaster.

If Simon is smart and not a smug twat, he will do best to keep his mouth shut and not congratulate Cheryl at all.

Sunday Chart Predictions (Friday Update)
What a catastrophic mess for Cheryl. She should be able to hold at 6, though -- Taylor at 7 is quite a way behind her sales-wise. Glad that x has increased its sales week-on-week despite dropping to 5 due to the competition.

Cheryl down to 7 and 61 with her first two versions, although the third has climbed a bit to 90.

Wow, there's a real shake-up in the top ten this week. Hard to believe that just yesterday at one point or another Wake Me Up was as low as #19 whilst Real Love and I Don't Care were both #2 at one point now to be found at #6 and #7. Really glad for The Veronicas. Definitely not a boring chart this week.

How much of streaming is included in Tuesday's midweeks? If all of it is there them I think Ed will be #1, and if none of it is included, well, I still think he could be #1. I'm not sure that what GM/ASC has sold in three hours or less is enough to take it from him, even if their lead is huge. Definitely #1 on Wednesday, though.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2014
Thing is, they already have many Greatest Hits albums which have sold astonishingly well, and I'm thinking will people just buy those instead? Cheryl is now dropping: Only Human down to 5 (from 4), 46 (down from 32), and 95 (down from 76).

Ew at that All Star Choir crap.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 9th November 2014
I heard that a lot of people think Night Changes isn't very single-worthy. I think with only having two albums left in their current contract (one of which is confirmed to be a greatest hits), they're being quite left-field, if you will, and releasing unexpected singles that will show off their growth musically rather than singles that will be instant smashes and set the charts on fire. They don't need singles to sell an album anyway as proven.

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2014
Looks like Queen could underperform given their iTunes and Amazon positions unless the documentary really helps them out. Can't see Cheryl higher than #6. She might be top 5 in the first midweek update though.
