The X Factor Series 12 • Odds
Interesting! Thanks for this post, Liam. I will rephrase that to many on Buzzjack WISHING they'd be in the bottom two? I have seen a lot of positive comments, but here at Buzzjack and through other forums too they seem like a really polarising act. I also didn't realise that they were called Menn On Poinnt in the audition stages, because I didn't think they were good enough for me to follow or be interested in them. I wish that the producers would've put some time aside for them to explain these silly name changes.

The X Factor Series 12 • Odds
Do those who bet odds ever receive inside information? I hope the shock favourite in the bottom three that we're referring to will be Anton, which wouldn't be such a surprise. I think that Kiera and Monica are obvious choices for the bottom three, but Kiera may cause a surprise since the voting public like sympathy votes after she was bottom two last week. I think that Fourth Impact topped the votes last week and whilst their performance last night was underwhelming and also the first one, resulting in people possibly not seeing it, they won't be anywhere near the bottom two. Seann could provide a shock, and Reggie n' Bollie are loved by loads, including me, but I think we are giving them the benefit of the doubt sorely because they are a novelty act. Mason isn't as controversial as people make out and he has a strong fanbase, and if he is bottom three the judges are likely to save him. I still think that Max could be an option; I don't think he really has a fanbase other than elderly people who will watch the show just hoping that he gets through and not actually voting. His download sold well on iTunes last week, but rumour has it that he only scraped through; there were the downloads of acts who were frontloaded, then there were others like Mason, Lauren and Reggie n' Bollie that sold well over time, which tells me that they are appealing to the general public despite the majority of Buzzjack thinking that Mason and Reggie n' Bollie could be bottom two. Louisa and Che will obviously be safe.

I think she can easily gain over the 22% she needs, but we'll see. Not long now. :P

Who topped the votes this week? X Factor
4th Impact for last week, I think.

20/11 album chart battle (13/11 releases)
This seems a good prediction (I don't agree with the sales predictions for 1D and Justin, though), but as I said previously I think Eva Cassidy will be top ten which would push Sam out. The Beatles have their special on Wednesday whilst Jess has CIN so I think we have all underestimated them. I suppose Rod Stewart could still be top ten too, but that will depend on where he's headed this week; we'll find out in the midweeks tomorrow.

 Well, Davidson made a very valid point, as did you, Bre and torresgirl. Nobody is wrong or delusional here. Get over yourself too -- this is a discussion board. Thanks and bye.

Why don't you just say 'MrIndependent is being so blind here it's unreal'? As if I'd be offended. Ignorance is never a good trait.

Well, because the ad only features a snippet of the song for starters and most of all, so no, it isn't silly. And with Coldplay's fall, there you go, she is back up to #5. We're done with this. ;)

Yes, I know :P, but many people who have heard the advert probably don't take any interest in looking it up despite how many times it's being forced down our ears on TV. If it doesn't move up and increase its pop bar after her XF perfrormance, we can scream and shout about it. I know you were joking, but her one place fall to #6 during an on air on sale release is really nothing to mention. :P

And my point is that the advert doesn't say what the song or who the song is by. How many people do you really think would look it up online? Most people would rather make themselves look silly and post a status along the lines of 'OMZG WHO'S THAT SONG ON DA ASDA ADVERT BY ON DA TELE!!!11!!!' It doesn't matter anyway. It will be #2 tonight with a handsome lead.

NOW 92
This is the best NOW compilation in a long time. I used to collect all of them but stopped after the 77th volume because I thought they were turning stale, which is probably a reflection of today's music industry and our generation, but I am actually interested in purchasing this one.

That's nothing unusual at all. It has nothing to do with her underperformance.

Sure -- the song she performed not publicly and the advert where 'FLEUR EAST SAX' appears on the screen in large, white letters. Sure.

The X Factor ● Series 12 ● RANKINGS
Didn't vote any time before but I'll do this now. :D I've only ranked positions for FI, LJ & MN for the competition before the live shows because they're the only ones that stood out to me as those who in fact have The X Factor, are talented and can sell records. Acts are listed from my favourite to least favourite. Fourth Impact 01-01-05 Louisa 03-02-02 Mason 02-03-04 Che 06-01 Seann 04-07 Kiera 09-08 Anton 06-11 Lauren 07-06 [bupsi 12] Reggie n' Bollie 08-02 Monica 05-10 Max 10-11 [Alien 13]

The X Factor ● Series 12 ● Live Show 2
In my list of what I think the public voting will look like, I can't decide whether Anton or Mason will get more votes. Neither of them, I feel, are in any real danger of being in the bottom three: if Mason could survive week one he will survive this week after giving a (admittedly not perfect) much more professional performance than last week. I could see him doing that type of smooth R&B music alongside the current songs reminiscent of today's demographic in his own career. Alongside Fourth Impact and Louisa, he's one of my favourite contestants for sure, and admist all the people who are painting him out to be a villian (he isn't; he made a mistake -- a mistake that admittedly made him look like a complete fool), he seems to honestly be quite popular and appeals to a voting audience who watch X Factor. My list of acts from favourite to least favourite based on the two live shows as well as everything from the auditions, bootcamp and judges' houses: 01 Fourth Impact 02 Louisa 03 Mason 04 Che 05 Seann [GAP] 06 Kiera (who's being really unfairly treat by the judges) 07 Anton (despite giving the worst performance in X Factor history tonight ) 08 Lauren [09 Bupsi] [GAP] 10 Reggie n' Bollie 11 Monica 12 Max [13 Alien]

Lauren was okay. Fine vocals, really dull girl and seems fake tbh. Bottom FIVE: Anton (PLEASE FFS) Max Kiera Monica Reggie n' Bollie Anton and Rn'B have the least chance out of those of being bottom three. This is how I think the public voting table will look: 1 Che 2 Louisa 3 4th Impact 4 Seann 5 Lauren 6 Mason 7 Anton 8 Reggie n' Bollie 9 Monica 10 Kiera (OUT) 11 Max (OUT) In an ideal world, Anton would be #30.

 I still haven't heard the full song purposely because I might get sick of the advert. As for the few acts I didn't comment on: Fourth Impact -- Had all the greatness of their usual performances but it was off-key and I don't think they'll get as many votes as they might have last week. Mason -- see above. Anton -- Rubbish to the core. His good vocal got him that one out of ten. Kiera -- She put in much more effort than usual but she's just so dull. You guys probably think that I am harsh, but at this stage they need more than a good voice. A good voice gets the act a 1, in my ratings.

Not sure why more people didn't like Mason's performance. In my opinion, it was much more professional than last week, and just much better all around. I could see him doing that kind of smooth R&B sound in his own career.

Max -- Far too similar to last week. One for the bottom three, I think. 10 Che 08 Louisa 08 Mason 07 Fourth Impact 05 Seann 04 Kiera 03 Monica 02 Max 01 Anton
