iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 20th November 2015
6 songs from 25 already gracing the top 1500 with their presence :D Really hoping that Mr. Sykes can hit the top ten as Kiss Me Quick should've done. Here's hoping that Fleur's instant grat does well.

Spotify Top 100 Thread 2015, Part II
When you are as hotly hyped as Adele and have an album as massive as 25 will be, you don't need to follow new trends. She doesn't need Spotify and Spotify doesn't need her.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
Hello is a stunning song (as is Sorry) but how Adele fans can say that Sorry is boring and Hello isn't baffles me. Which song is better in terms of quality is subjective, but clearly the more boring song is Hello.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
The Beatles will overtake Kylie and she's looking at a #12 debut. She still has plenty of time before Christmas to repeak, though. Ben will fall to #10 on Friday, and Andre Rieu will be 8 or 9, leaving Ed to the other position.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
It's also worth pointing out that the missing streams will contribute to Justin's album equivalent sales (the missing iTunes update on Monday's update has obviously done him some good in today's update too). All signs point towards Justin snatching it, and if he doesn't sales will be achingly close, and I feel for whichever of the two doesn't get the victory. Both albums deserve it. Love Yourself will be at 3 on Friday. What Do You Mean? will be back at 4. Sax will drop to 5 and Take Me Home to 6... oops for Jess. A perfectly valid example to show how streaming sales have stopped the dropping of digital sales, but also a taster of how it is improving album sales. We should all be for this instead of bashing streaming; whether you like or hate the artist(s) it's affecting doesn't matter: it's helping the market, especially the singles one, a lot.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
Hello and welcome! I hope that you enjoy your time here. Is it being sold for $4 in US stores? I know that digital services such as Amazon MP3 and other online organisations sometimes sell records for a low price -- usually $3.99, or this may have changed since I last checked -- but there's an obligation that if an album is selling at too low of a price the sales coming from said organisation will not be counted towards the sale. I don't think it's a surprise at all that Purpose is selling more than Made in the A.M. in America.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
Sorry guys! Apologies if the comment caused offense -- obviously it did not mean to, was not personal and was just a silly comparison. It's worth noting that a huge 70% of Bieber's album sales are digital: his album is the biggest selling album on that format, but only the fourth on physicals, behind 1D, ELO (who are only 2k behind 1D! :o ) and Elvis. Unexpected that his digital sales are much higher than his physicals (though I am surprised the ratio is so large) but very interesting!

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
So 1D not really 'pissing' on Bieber as MintRoyale claims With a 64k/50k sale at the moment, 1D are ahead by just under 30%. They must've had much more impressive pre-orders they Beiber to begin with a 50% difference. When streaming and the missing digital sale is added, Purpose will be selling more Edit: on a daily basis, I mean.

Spotify Top 100 Thread 2015, Part II
Nice to see Miss Fleur on the brink of entering the top twenty and looking like Sax will be a success in streaming. :D I am wanting Little Mix to pick up on their streams for Love Me Like You; even though I'm not a huge fan of the song, I want it desperately to go top ten officially because it has been f***ed over by its on air on sale release, a disadvantage that Black Magic never had. I know that Justin's streams are very impressive, as are One Direction's, and the instant grats are holding up very consistently, but I didn't expect some of those album tracks to take falls that sharply just yet, even when it is completely unusual for a record's album songs to have such high streams.

The X Factor ● Series 12 ● Live Show 3
I haven't liked a single performance so far. So dull.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
It's the general public that have no interest in Ben. Voting for someone on a talent show in comparison to supporting their music and buying their albums outside of said show is a totally different discipline; we've known this for a while and most people also knew last year when Ben was crowned winner that he wouldn't have much success. Nothing to do with Syco.

Friday Chart Predictions (Thurs Update + Top 5 Sales)
Let's say 1D have sold 60k, which is a bit more than Up All Night sold but less than FOUR's 75k (it could be on similar sales). 1D winning by a 50% with that sale would put Bieber on 40k, which is already more than all his other albums sold in their first week. If 1D are on another 75k, that puts Bieber on 50k. Great sales and outcome for both anyway. Justin was never going to be #1, but it will be on the streaming chart and digital chart. I'd imagine that Elvis is at 3, followed by ELO and Kylie. Ed is probably up to 6 and Little Mix, who I think will be selling more than Ben, will probably be at 7 with him at 8 and falling as the week goes on. Great result for Miss Kyles. Happy with that.

20/11 album chart battle (13/11 releases)
1 One Direction 2 Justin Bieber 3 Elvis Presley 4 ELO which we have all underestimated 5 Little Mix 6 Ed Sheeran 7 Rod Stewart 8 Kylie 9 Jess Glynne 10 Ben Haenow The Beatles will plummet despite their documentary airing; it doesn't seem to have helped the sales of 1+ on Thursday that much. On the other hand, Elvis had a great week this week, increasing his sales; next week he will more than likely lose many of the sales that he gained from his documentary. Ellie Goulding's daily sales in the past few days have been tragic; she will plummet way out of the top ten next week. ELO seem to have more hype than we thought, and are doing well on both the Amazon and iTunes front. I still think that people are underestimating Kylie's first week sale, and we have overestimated the impact that x will see from Ed's re-issue. Jess Glynne's Children In Need exposure will give her album a healhy sales increase, but not enough to climb admist all of these powerful new entries.

The X Factor ● Series 12 ● Live Show 2
As I said in the odds thread, I could see Seann providing a shock exit. The right decision was made. Mason was there because it was a double eviction; had it been a single one he would've got through and people would've been all 'WHAT?' Seann is one of the best, and he will have a great career in theatre, not in music.

The X Factor ● Series 12 ● Live Show 2
Does Kiera and Rn'B being interviewed before that break confirm that they are bottom three? Hmmmm... Fleur SAWED OFF PEOPLES' HEADS. SHE SAAAAAAAWED.

Fleur East - Sax
SHE f***ING KILLED IT

The X Factor Series 12 • Odds
Interesting! Thanks for this post, Liam. I will rephrase that to many on Buzzjack WISHING they'd be in the bottom two? I have seen a lot of positive comments, but here at Buzzjack and through other forums too they seem like a really polarising act. I also didn't realise that they were called Menn On Poinnt in the audition stages, because I didn't think they were good enough for me to follow or be interested in them. I wish that the producers would've put some time aside for them to explain these silly name changes.

The X Factor Series 12 ● Live Show 2 Poll
Che, Louisa, Reggie n' Bollie Anton Kiera

The X Factor Series 12 • Odds
Do those who bet odds ever receive inside information? I hope the shock favourite in the bottom three that we're referring to will be Anton, which wouldn't be such a surprise. I think that Kiera and Monica are obvious choices for the bottom three, but Kiera may cause a surprise since the voting public like sympathy votes after she was bottom two last week. I think that Fourth Impact topped the votes last week and whilst their performance last night was underwhelming and also the first one, resulting in people possibly not seeing it, they won't be anywhere near the bottom two. Seann could provide a shock, and Reggie n' Bollie are loved by loads, including me, but I think we are giving them the benefit of the doubt sorely because they are a novelty act. Mason isn't as controversial as people make out and he has a strong fanbase, and if he is bottom three the judges are likely to save him. I still think that Max could be an option; I don't think he really has a fanbase other than elderly people who will watch the show just hoping that he gets through and not actually voting. His download sold well on iTunes last week, but rumour has it that he only scraped through; there were the downloads of acts who were frontloaded, then there were others like Mason, Lauren and Reggie n' Bollie that sold well over time, which tells me that they are appealing to the general public despite the majority of Buzzjack thinking that Mason and Reggie n' Bollie could be bottom two. Louisa and Che will obviously be safe.

I think she can easily gain over the 22% she needs, but we'll see. Not long now. :P

Who topped the votes this week? X Factor
4th Impact for last week, I think.

Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill: Collectors Edition
What a f###ing great record. How are the demos on this re-issue?

20/11 album chart battle (13/11 releases)
This seems a good prediction (I don't agree with the sales predictions for 1D and Justin, though), but as I said previously I think Eva Cassidy will be top ten which would push Sam out. The Beatles have their special on Wednesday whilst Jess has CIN so I think we have all underestimated them. I suppose Rod Stewart could still be top ten too, but that will depend on where he's headed this week; we'll find out in the midweeks tomorrow.

Friday Chart Predictions
Shame that MintRoyale didn't give us any sales information, only teasing that there's not much in it!
