If the singles chart isn't on the high street and there isn't a Top of the Pops anymore, then how is it even a chart anymore? It's just something posted on this site every Sunday. It's a shame but it does feel like it really doesn't matter at all anymore.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that Shayne would not be at no.4 if the charts were only physical and not download, as physical sales now reflect the fact that downloads are available, i.e. all those people selling less than him in physicals but with higher chart positions because of downloads might have bought physical copies of the singles by artists they like? Therefore he might have still been out of the top 10 and a big messy flop!
