Spice Girls • General Discussion
If they do another tour then I think they need some more new material or have the girls showcase some of their solo material otherwise it will just be the same as the last tour.

Steps - 'Step One'
I will check that out in a mo. I'm currently listening to the original version of Stay With Me which is a female-fronted melodic rock song from the 80s. I was led to it by the YouTube comments as I didn't know it was a cover either  n7LV8lXJGWo

That was good fun, thanks for hosting :party2:

Steps Singles Survivor
I went for Neon Blue, Tragedy and Better Best Forgotten.

Album Listening Parties - Planning Thread
That's awesome, yeah I think the table scene especially where they talk about the split will bring up a lot to discuss

Steps - 'Step One'
Love U More is definitely the best album track I would say.
-
Steps - 'Step One'
I had no idea this had a video  The dancing is pretty cool tbh.
-
Steps - 'Step One'
I'd say Back To You is one of the better album tracks on the album tbh

Steps - 'Step One'
I feel like they've really become Steps while watching the Better Best Forgotten video with the matching colour outfits and everything. I quite like the routine for this one too.

I would be cool to do watch throughs of the Steps Reunion show also, maybe after the albums have all been done. They're on YouTube.

Steps - 'Step One'
Experienced is very different for a Steps song with the gospel and R&B elements. I do like it though.

Steps - 'Step One'
Of the "will love again" songs, I prefer I Will Love Again ;) This isn't so bad though and for an album track it is pretty good I would say.

Steps - 'Step One'
Heartbeat is beautiful  But yeah Tragedy is really their signature song now, alongside 5678.
-
Steps - 'Step One'
Heartbeat  This was a staple on the music channels at Christmas time, I remember seeing it each year even years after they split. The obvious green screen though :kink:

What bugs you about it?

Steps - 'Step One'
The Claire focus has arrived  This video is good and the video looks fun, I should try and learn some of these dances one day. I tried to learn Scared of the Dark but it was quite tricky. When I was in Zante, some people were teaching me 5 6 7 8 but I forget what order it all goes in.

Steps - 'Step One'
I prefer the video to Last Thing On My Mind's and the dancing on the beach is cute and it's just a very nostalgic song but so was Last Thing
-
Steps - 'Step One'
Gotta love a bit of 5, 6, 7, 8, it does get annoying sometimes but I'm enjoying it today and Lee actually gets a decent amount of vocals which is rare for them.

Steps - 'Step One'
The Last Things On My Mind video is kinda basic really but I really like the dancing towards the end, that brought it to life for me. The rest of it was just a bit safe and nothingy. Seeing Lee in his open shirt was a highlight though ;)

Steps - 'Step One'
The anticipation is building to the beat of Steptro :funky: I'd say it is a pretty good album intro tbh but gets a bit messy to the end

Steps - 'Step One'
Oh cool, for some reason I thought this was starting at 8pm so it’s good I’ve checked this thread now

Steps - 'Light Up the World'
Yeah, it does seem to be somewhat forgotten by them, even in recent tour setlists Light Up The World has always been forgotten. Like obviously playing Christmas songs at certain times of year would be weird but the title track doesn’t explicitly mention Christmas and would work in a tour so I’d like to see it included in a future tour. The song is quite magical  I’ve always loved the QVC performance, although a shopping channel does seem like an odd place to perform  pZ2IfwN2-LY

Steps - 'Step One'
I’m not mad about the album cover but I think it suits a pop act from that era

Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop & Power • BBC Documentary
This was emotional and an important documentary. It’s horrible what she, and the other featured artists, in the documentary have had to go through. Hopefully more changes will start to occur in the label, the industry and society at large
