I read some articles saying that the movie will have a more limited release in the US. Can anyone confirm that?

The movie climbed 30 places in IMDB popularity list up to 18th. Only a couple of currently popular movies with a higher rating are above it. Let's see if it can get into top 10 🤞

It is interesting to see the discussion on some American forums. Someone says he enjoyed the movie. Then tens of comments with every possible excuse why not to watch the move surface. Then someone tries to objectively argue for the movie. Gets bullied. People still ignore it......But they will crack eventually 🙃

The number is correct. It is a rolling release in a hope that the word of mouth gets out and sparks some interest. It set the expectations low with the premise. A bit too low maybe. But it just might work. Fingers crossed 🤞.

I checked online, the screening in Ljubljana was rather full today. I would say about 70% seats filled, the most I've seen since the movie launch. They are also promoting the movie with an opportunity to see Robbie in Trieste if you watch BM in the next week or so. I already have tickets, but I've applied of course 😎. Trieste is already sold out and it would be nice if I could bring some extra friends with me.

And about a third of the 1/10s on IMDB are from America.

Went to see Better man again today. I had a much better feeling at the screening today. It is obvious the movie triggers some people and gives them a headache. A couple left the screening midway through. But at the end the audience gave a mini spontaneous applause. It was great. I enjoyed the movie a lot more the second time and also cought the Jonno Davies bit that I missed on the first watch. I'm just sorry for 2 people that went to the toilet at the beginning of the Knebworth scene and came back after the cathartic part. They missed the most insane movie sequence ever!

In Cineplexx Slovenia they reduced the projections from two to one per day already. The slot at 17.45 PM is usually 1/3 to 1/2 full from the online reservations in Ljubljana. But other venues look rather empty. I'm not sure why it is not picking up, the promo was as good as it could get.

That monkey was doing so much coke at some point.. I agree, it is definitely a movie to rewatch since there are so many references that just fly over your head. The pacing was quite fast for me. The Let me entertain you sequence was great. So were Angels and Rock DJ. I noticed that My Way started with Robbie's voice but it then changed to Adam. I would have loved it if it was Robbie's voice all the way though. Overall thematically a really tough movie to watch. I really liked the movie. I'm not sure how it will resonate with average movie watchers.

I was at the movie screening here in Slovenia, Ljubljana. There were about 20 people in the cinema at slot at 20:45. About 5 couples above 40, and about 10 people from 18-30. Overall I liked the movie but there was sooooo much cocaine and drug use. Non stop. And this movie stays with you. A couple of hours later I'm still thinking about it. I'll need to sleep on it. A truly unique experience.

Oh well...I saw the comments under the video when the track came out, that these two songs are similar. I hopped it would not matter. But since the guy owning the song is governor at the Oscars for music department it obviously got busted. Some free extra drama exposure just in time for the movie release though.

Moving the wide movie release in US to 10th of January seems like a good idea since the nomination round voting is going on from 8-12th ofJanuary.

Does that mean he will be able to show off in golden globes ceremony? 🥳
