Wiley - Electric boogaloo
- Marina and the Diamonds - I Am Not A Robot
I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me I must say- Dubstar are back!
Their first LP "Disgraceful" was very good and I love Sarah Blackwood's voice- Top 40 w/e 03/04/1999
5. The New Radicals - You Get What You Give Brilliant song ! it'd still go top 5 if it were released in 2010 IMO- UK Top 40 Singles - w/e 1 April 2000
9. All Saints - Pure Shores Wonderful tune ! Still listen to it from time to time- retro chart, mid april 1998 !!
31 187 Lockdown - Kung-Fu massive bassline ! proper oldskool garage !- Sunscreem - 90s Dance Band
I loved the Boy's Own mix of Perfect motion, quality stuff !- Sex And The City 2
I will definitely go and watch it. I'm a big fan actually- V (2010)
A bit too slow. I gave up after the fourth episode- Predators
I will watch it. Predator 1 & 2 were quite enjoyable.- Favourite vampire film?
I watched "Daybreakers" the other day ... Not bad ! reminded me of "28 days later"- Wiley - Electric boogaloo
How big will this be ?- Joy Orbison
Hyph Mngo is one of the best tunes from last year and even made it into NME's top 50 tracks of 2009 (at #18) Another dubstep track I dig at the mo' is Blame - On my own (Drumsound & Bassline Smith remix) (can't post youtube link unfortunately) I hope dubstep will get chart success in 2010 (along with some D&B and New school UKG), because I'm a bit sick of all these cr*ppy euro dance tunes in the top 40 (Guetta & co)- Uk Chart Reform???
I totally agree with you ! More new entries , more 1-week #1's and songs debuting at this position, just like the good old days (ie before the internet & Itunes) More unreleased & buzz tunes / new music (the internet is supposed to have music easier to access, which - sadly - isn't refected in the charts nowadays) More indie music !!!! Less Itunes domination- Diana Vickers - Once
Not the usual bland and blatantly commercial pop song you could expect from a talent searches TV show contestant, for .... once ! Perhaps the 1st proper #1 (but not the last hopefully) in a year that's been unexciting - musically speaking - so far .....- BRITs nominations in full
Why do people keep complaining about this year’s (and previous years’) nominations ?? I think the jury of music industry professionals have made excellent choices for the past two years Their choice is representative of what happened in british music during the last 12 months. Every genre is represented (pop, rock, dance, urban), whether it be underground or very commercial. There’s something for everyone ! A lot of my favourite artists in 2009 (or albums released in 2009) got a nomination, as far as I’m concerned. If I had my way, the final results would be (That’s wishful thinking, I know ....) : British Male Solo Artist Calvin Harris (I wish Jack Penate had been nominated too in this category .....) British Female Solo Artist Bat For Lashes British Breakthrough Act Florence And The Machine British Group Both Friendly Fires & Muse Mastercard British Album Florence And The Machine – Lungs (because Bat For Lashes’ excellent album - “Two suns” - wasn’t nominated in this category) British Single Either La Roux - 'In For The Kill' or Lily Allen - 'The Fear' International Male Solo Artist I like none of them, sorry ! International Female Solo Artist Ladyhawke, by far ! International Breakthrough Act Empire Of The Sun International Album Empire Of The Sun - Walking On Dream British Producer of the Year Paul Epworth Brits Album of 30 Years Hard to choose between those 3. I love them all Keane - Hopes & Fears The Verve - Urban Hymns Duffy – Rockferry- Biggest Tunes of 2009
Some very good tunes here (not the usual cr*p : US RnB, X factor winners, and so on ....) Do you know where / how to listen to this radio ? This doesn't seem to be this one : freshradio.co.uk- Chuckie vs LMFAO - Let The Base Kick In Miami Bitch
Yet another rubbish eurodance tune IMO ! I know there's no accounting for taste, but what sort of people could want to dance to such farting noises, or even spend money to buy this tune ?? probably Cascada or Guetta fans, not real dance music lovers that is ......- New single from Chicane - Hiding All The Stars
I agree; I wasn't too keen on it at first; Gary Numan's Cars has been sampled too many times and I thought it didn't mix with the song; But strangely enough, it's a grower and I think it's very catchy and danceable. Good chart dance music- Ultrabeat 'Use Somebody'
Deekline & solo made a better job of "Use somebody" by KOL Check the video on youtube - Kings of Leon "Use Somebody" (Defkline and Red Polo remix) What do you think ? it should have been released as a single IMO- Digital Dog remixes
Their remix of Egypt's forthcoming single "In the morniing" is very good ! you should check this one out. - Marina and the Diamonds - I Am Not A Robot
