Because in most cases with a massive song/act like this one, as lots of people jump into a 'I love it just because' bandwagon, there's also a ton amount of other people who jump into the 'I hate/not like the song cause it's massive' bandwagon as well, and it's also annoying. I bet that most of the people who claim to hate or dislike the song would say they love it and how unfair the buying public is if this was to peak outside the top 20. But that's just my interpretation of things.

I loved their songs back then and I have to admit I still listen to "Who's David" and "Thunderbirds" (my two definite favourites from them) quite a lot now-a-days.

I'm pretty sure the Now team wouldn't snub anyone, the omissions are more to do with the fact that they can't have access to certain songs or artists due to label issues or the act preventing them.
