  1. 13 Little Dolls is a great choice I think.
  2. Yeah it was amazing she really was great and kind enough to chat to fans and do autographs. (She's done it in the first two shows so far). Tonight it's the first London show and it's her birthday !! Great to see the album at #32 in the midweeks and on twitter she confirmed there will be a third single!!.

  4. I went to see Sophie last night it was amazing!!. So, as soon as the doors opened I got to right at the front of the stage and had a great view. The support act was Us Baby Bare Bones they started at 8pm till 8:30 (I never heard of them before) but they was amazing if you like bjork or Roisin Murphy, nine times out of ten you'll love them they played five songs. Sophie starts her set at 9:05 with Birth Of An Empire, she looks immaculate and sounds amazing, Then she continues straight on to Until The Stars Collide, after that she speaks to the audience thanks everyone for coming, and asks how we are, then introduces Runaway Daydreamer (one of my favourites from the album). Sophie says she's glad to be back in Oxford she loves all the sights and sounds here and said what her and husband got up to in the day time. Then we went to a song from shoot from the hip called I'm Not Good At Not Getting What I Want and she says that's still true, next was The Deer & The Wolf. Sophie chats again to the audience about how Young Blood had to be the first single and talked about the album, how she wanted to fund it herself and be her own boss and got a massive cheer for that. She also name dropped that Brendan Cole was there (I had seen him whilst I was in the queue waiting to get in), anyway she sings Young Blood. Next up was a song when she was in the band TheAudience (no gap in the name) A Pessimist Is Never Disappointed was the song, Sophie said there's a swear word in the lyrics but she couldn't bring herself to swear in front of us. Next up was a brilliant version of 13 Little Dolls, again Sophie chats to the crowd saying the next song Love Is a Camera is about a witch who takes her soul every time she takes her picture, she also says AFTER THE SHOW SHE WILL BE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS!! AND SHE WILL SIGN ANYTHING YOU WANT HER TO SIGN. She did admit it was the second night of the tour and on last nights show 2 people got her autograph tattooed on them (look on twitter that's true!!) she also spoke about the Wanderlust Vinyl album she was joking and said she didn't know what it was and it was too big for her CD player or you could use it as coffee coaster. So the final Wanderlust song she performed was Cry To The Beat Of The Band Sophie and the band leave the stage after the song. **Costume Change** Sophie walks on starts performing Take Me Home (she said she's just rang everybody's bosses and said they can all have tomorrow off as they are partying tonight, she asked if we had our dancing shoes on as she wanted to see us dance now), now she begins her medley of Lady (Modjo cover) Groovejet and Moloko's Sing It Back. She thanks everyone for coming and she said it means the world that everyone came tonight for her, she starts clapping her hands in the air and asks us to jump up and down for Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer), The final song now sophie wants us to dance our butts off with Murder on the Dance floor and makes the crowd sign some lines , Sophie exits the stage the band play on to a big applause and cheer. About a minute after the band stop playing Sophie is now at the back of the venue with Ed Harcourt she signs Interlude (from wanderlust) 100% a cappella and the show ends! It was a unique way to end the show!!. I had a blast. Now we wait for Sophie to change and do an autograph signing. (At the merchandise stall they had on sale Wanderlust Mug £6, two different t-shirts for £15 each a black one just saying Wanderlust in white writing and a white one with the album cover and the tour dates at the back, I brought this, A Wanderlust Poster £5, and the Vinyl £18, Standard Cd Album £10 and Bookbound version for £12. The only other thing on sale was Make A Scene album on cd was £5). So Sophie arrives and signs anything and everything people ask, she is so polite and chats to everyone, she also wrote different things of people's stuff like best wishes, nice to see you, etc then signing her name. So when I see her she was very chatty and signed my book bound version of Wanderlust and had a picture taken with her happy days!! :).

  6. Ex-Moloko singer Róisín Murphy might have been a little quiet in the last couple of years, but that’s all set to change. Brand new EP Mi Senti finds Murphy dipping her toe into classic 60s and 70s Italian pop, taking on songs from Mina (‘Ancora Ancora Ancora’ and ‘Non Credere’), Patty Pravo (‘Pensiero Stupendo’), Lucio Battisti (‘Acora Tu’) and Gino Paoli (‘La Gatta’). She’s quick to point out however that the record is not simply an “Italian project” but a “singing project,” which was intended to challenge her and take her to another level entirely. “Quite apart from the language, in some of the songs I was on the edge of what my voice can do,” she reveals. “For the Mina ones in particular [‘Ancora Ancora Ancora’ and ‘Non Credere’] there were tears and I almost walked away and gave up.” Recorded in London and Ibiza with her Milanese partner Sebastiano Properzi, Mi Senti also includes one new composition ‘In Sintesi’, which is also in Italian. Murphy is currently working on a new solo album, and a collection of remixes is due for release later in the year. Mi Senti will be released on limited vinyl and digital on May 28 via The Vinyl Factory. Miley Cyrus is April Guest Curator for Art For Freedom Madonna announced today that Miley Cyrus will be the guest curator for Art for Freedom for the month of April. Miley will collaborate with Madonna to select daily submissions which will be showcased on artforfreedom.com. Launched in September 2013, Artforfreedom.com was created by Madonna as a vehicle to inspire artists around the globe to share their artistic representations on the subject of freedom and human rights. "There has never been a more crucial time to participate and help create change in the world. I've been so inspired by people's submissions since we began and I welcome Miley's input along with her fans to express themselves artistically and to share their creative ideas on the subject of human rights and freedom of speech. Miley and I look forward to hearing your voices in the format of your choice throughout the month of April and onward," commented Madonna. "Art can speak volumes - I'm glad to join Madonna in encouraging people to have their voices heard at artforfreedom.com. It's an ideal home to see how each of us can participate in changing the world for the better," stated Cyrus. Cyrus and Madonna will select the winning artist's submission at the end of April and will award a $10,000 grant to a nonprofit organization of the winning artist's choice. All projects must be focused on the values of Art For Freedom. Launched in September 2013, Art For Freedom is a global digital initiative, led by Madonna in partnership with VICE Media, designed to fuel free speech - to respond, address and protest persecution and discrimination around the world. It is an online public art project encouraging people to express their personal meaning of freedom and revolution, in the form of video, music, poetry, and photography. Public submissions become part of the Art For Freedom website: contributors can join the project by uploading original artwork or tagging original posts #artforfreedom. The project was launched with the film secretprojectrevolution, co-directed by Madonna and Steven Klein.
