It does make me laugh how many people here say that 'the charts suck at the moment' because a song they don't personally like is at no.1, and that everything would be fine if Telephone or Rude Boy replace it. I like both of them, but they're hardly profoundly brilliant songs are they?

Yeah I did have that in mind, but I reckon if it gets in the top 10 it will be low top 10

Telephone might be in with a shot at #1 next week. I don't think there'll be any real high new entries.

This has been a really bad year for new albums, particularly for the new artists. Most of them have peaked well but have dropped like stones. It's a shame because some of them are really good.

Like I said before, the call isn't usually to tell them their chart position, it's recorded from earlier in the week. They did the same thing with that Andre Rieu when his album was #1 in the midweeks and ended up being #2.

But the call is usually recorded from earlier in the week. A few weeks ago they had that Andre Rieu guy on the phone after his album was #1 in the midweeks, but after ended up being #2 they still played the call out.

Oh joy, yet another x factor contestant gets Radio 1 support. People can go on about how 'credible' they think Diana Vickers has become, but she would never of made the playlist if she wasn't 'That Diana Girl Off X Factor'. Yet they are still snubbing Gabriella Cilmi, despite being comfortably top 10 in the midweeks, and they still play Sweet About Me from time to time.
