http://i32.tinypic.com/ml579h.jpg Laura Comfort is definitely worth listening to if you're into folk-pop!! She's similar to Dido and Lene Marlin. Her new album, coming out on September 6th, is called 'The Comfort Zone' and blends her usual folk-inspired pop sound with R&B and electronica influences. She was actually quite well respected in the Business world and associated with the likes of Donald Trump after graduating from Harvard in Business. But she was itching to have a singing career so left it all behind. Not your usual pop star story!! Bubbel G are being tipped as the new Spice Girls?! I have just had a look at their myspace. I guess I can see the similarities but I dont think they are that much like them. I still really like the sound of they're music but being a massive Spice Girl fan I would never compair anyone to them!

I have been listening to some soft pop with a folky touch to it. I have a great library of pop music, but stumbled across some soft guitar pop recently. A band called Indigo Road. Check them out! I really want to get more of this stuff into my I-pod, any suggestions? Does anyone like this genre of music?
