My exact thought, not worth voting if you can't even give their best track maximum points.

:o :o :o Probably gonna be the album I look forward to the most this year, Hospice was so incredibly strong and Burst Apart was a really fine album as well. *edit* Quite a decent track.

0 points ouch. Guess I deserved that for not voting though, had master's thesis deadline 12 hours after the UP deadline, so it got sort of pushed out of my focus. Think this edition of UP might be my cue to leave the competition. The winning song didn't make it through its first play without being removed from my rotation, whereas one of my favourite songs for the last few years ended up getting 2 votes, thanks to Brett-Butler and Popchartfreak though.

Congrats on the winner Severin. Girl From The North Country is everything I'd ever hope to get in a Nuggets entry, hardhitting, guitarfilled, extremely intense and still catchy in its own way, one of my favourite tracks from any of the BuzzJack competitions. I also really enjoyed The War On Drugs a lot, a brilliant track, that would probably have done well in UP as well, even checked them out to see if they had other stuff of similar high standard, didn't find anything yet though.

Any appeal would obviously have to include a review of last album.

Finally got my votes sent. If I could I would have just stacked all the points for my top2, thought they were absolutely excellent. :)

So our old darling released a version of Drunk in Love, which incidentally happens to be by far his best work since Echoes of Silence. I'm stoked.

Not half bad.

Only 5 songs in so far, but things sound VERY promising, think I might already have found a keeper or 3 among those first ones.

I love Midsomer Murders as well, sort of stopped watching with the new Barnaby, but judging from Kath posts, It might just be worth it to have another go at the new episodes. As a Dane, I'll obviously have to at least watch the 100th episode. You lot have favourite episodes? I quite like the Judgement Day episode with Orlando Bloom (not because of him), it's delightfully gory.

To be fair I don't think I've entered any Danish rock acts for the last 3-5 UPs, including this.

Finally got my votes away. I really didn't like this edition of UP, ended up running out of songs I could award points to in good conscience, so the 12th is essentially a matter of it being the least bad song, rather than being 12th best. Also had to vote for a song, from an act I thought is a bit too well known for UP.

On the BJ Indie/alt forum? Who could have seen that coming...

If your net is still acting up and there's nothing sauce in your messages, you could hand me or some user you trust access to your account for an hour or two, and said person could then collect all the mp3's and upload. As things stand, I suspect less than half the entrants have listened to the songs.
