Modern Family
3rd season started now, very much same as usual, though I wasn't too fond of the first episode.

Arrested Development ::
'13! :( That's one hell of a wait, nonetheless it's probably gonna be worth it for new episodes of the best comedy series of all time.

Girls - Vomit
Just listened to it, really excellent song, very Pink Floyd'ish towards the end. Still quite unique though.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
Would love to go for a good indie rock/pop track as usual, but can't find anything overwhelmingly good, so reckon I'll spice things up and go for something very different.

Alternative Buzzjack Last.fm
No worries, had been told I could send you a PM, but just figured you'd probably check it sooner or later anyway.

Alternative Buzzjack Last.fm
Seems I finally got let in to the promised land.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
Who do I need to bribe to get accepted into the BuzzJack Alternative group on last.fm? Have had my application pending for ages.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man
Saw a bit of the Ricky Gervais one, seemed decently funny. Any of the episodes you can recommend watching?

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
And I'll go for Biebers 'Love me'

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
Hooray for Earth seem to have jinxed themselves a bit when they chose the title. Just about half the voters have now mentioned how it deserved better, yet it ended at a measely 11th. (I'm no better myself, loved it yet still only gave 7 points)

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
That was mean Pavel :D Nice Flames won though, my favourite of the top3.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
I see Jester rewarded my 12 points to him well.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
So did I, the indie crowd in Denmark absolutely loved it (especially me), and it wasn't famous on BJ, but sadly not. Yours is doing better so far. (14th or 2nd)

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
While I don't listen to Nightwish often, I do quite like them, I just don't think The Storm used the genre/style very well, it was too poppy and simple.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
I think this is the only song I've enjoyed by The Storm, somewhat more electronic sound and less ambitious, suits them well.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
I'm actually a bit surprised by the lack of love for my entry, thought it'd blow the competition away. Also the lack of love for No Love and Photograph strikes me, both were definitely among the better tracks in my opinion. Safe and sound sounded slightly generic to me on the other hand, but seems to be doing well (I did love the 0:33-0:40 part though). Anyways I like the way the table is set up, though I'm not sure the "not revealing 20points" bit is as good as expected, makes the initial revealed points seem somewhat less important. (and as Thomsen says, prohibits us from expressing our love for favourite tracks.)

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
Results coming up tomorrow?

Modern Family
I quite like this show too. It contains more subtle humor than you initially think and generally relies as much on cleverly thought situations and characters being oblivious than on embarassing situations, which is a major plus in my book.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
Will probably be doing my votes tomorrow, gonna be horrible. Really no excellent songs to give top points, but plenty of songs that deserve at least a few points. My enthusiasm for the songs has faded slightly over the last few days I must say.

The Shins 'Port of Morrow'
Looking forward to it, love a few of the songs on their previous albums, and their sound is quite unique.

Arcade Fire 'The Suburbs' | 02-08-10
How was the concert? Contemplating going to a gig with them when they come to Denmark later this summer. I'm not really a major fan, but quite enjoy some of their stuff.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
I can see why people would enjoy it, unlikely to get any points from me, but I suppose there is some sort of charm to it. Continueing on that note, distributing my points is gonna be hell this time, just about 30 very enjoyable tracks, but few to none of them really stand out drastically. I was fairly certain my entrant would do well, but a bit less certain now, may blend in too much with the rest of them.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
1 I knew up front, 1 by an act entered last time too and 1 track by a bad I'd never heard of before, but oddly enough had in my music library. Looking forward to it, will certainly be Unknown pleasures.
-
The Weeknd 'House of Balloons/Thursday/Echoes of Silence'
Just about the only R'n'B album I've ever enjoyed, but oh man it's good. The Knowing would have to be my favourite.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES [VI]
I'm in, looking forward to it.
