BJ CD SWAP #2 / review your cd here!
I'm definitely up reviewing a cd too if someone's hasn't been reviewed.

The Antlers :: Burst Apart
Really good album, nonetheless I'm the tiniest bit disappointed, basically with the massive amount of praise it has received just about everywhere I, but also because none of the songs come even near to Wake and Two from Hospice. Nonetheless a very enjoyable album, No Widows, Every night my teeth are falling out and Putting the dog to sleep are my favourites so far.

Starting to look forward to the next one, got a clear winner.

Game of Thrones
Up to fifth episode now, probably the best one so far. Show continues with an amount of sex scenes that makes Californication seem pious, but I think they do manage to use them well to build on the story and show characters and their relations with each other. Overall I just think it's really good, not perfect, but it's a very nice fantasy/medieval universe, where as opposed to so much other fiction in the genre, it's still being driven by the characters and their relations. Especially the last episodes have seen the universe take a "shakespearesque" turn with nobody able to trust one another and everybody having hidden motives, just as one has always imagined life at medieval courts. Favourite characters so far would have to be Ned Stark and the Brothel owner (Aidan Gillen who played Carcetti in the wire). Also interesting to follow the female Targaryen, for several reasons..

Sufjan Stevens // The Age of Adz
Played in Denmark a short while ago, got raving reviews and praise all over, I've rarely felt that sad to miss a concert.

BJ CD SWAP #2 / sign-up + info / CDS ARE DUE
Guess I'll be making one too, my upload is painfully slow though.

Arctic Monkeys - 'Don't Sit Down...' // 'Suck It And See'
Sad to say that I don't like it, wasn't too fond of Humbug either. Guess they're just moving in a direction away from the style I like, quite a shame since I absolutely loved their first 2 albums and the first EPs.

How very odd that everybody reckons their own track should have done better :) I thought Rescue Song deserved a bit better, had a nice charm too it. Also Roanna's Song was probably the one I liked least, fairly straight forward text, not a whole lot of surprises/aggression/charm imo, didn't catch me at all. I can understand why some parts of it would catch people though. Also Kudos to Dandy for setting it up, already looking forward to UP VI.

Nice ending, grats on winning Pavel. My song was exactly the 7 points Thomsen gave me above his song :D

You should consider getting the Moi Caprice single collection, lots of very good songs ranging from harder to easier accessible.

I really loved that Blue Hawaii entry. Very "expressive" lyrics and a cool sound. Not a song I'd ever go for until after a few listens though.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - RESULTS
I'm sorry about that, especially after I got a fine helping of point from you. I know both I got you on tape very and Turboweekend well already, heck looking in the greater view the Turboweekend track is probably the one I've liked most of all tracks entered, but I really vote depending on which tracks have caught me most during the voting period. Nonetheless you're a fair bit above me, and my debut entry has done very well, so I'm happy at least. On a sidenote, I think both the Tiesto and Joker remixes of Turboweekend are great, just a somewhat different style.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - RESULTS
I counted 4, of which I contributed one. But both Turboweekend and Oh Land have seen a fair bit of attention outside Denmark, not sure about I got you on tape. It won't be long until we find out anyway.

The Vaccines
Hate Post break up sex, but perhaps I should give a few of their other tracks a chance.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - RESULTS
Just hoping my debut entry doesn't flop completely. Also wondering whether Thomsen entered the Bellowhead song, as the genre description is in Danish. Other than that I could see a few tracks such as Like a Punk and the Blue Gowns one being either fiercely hated or loved depending on the voter.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - VOTING
Do it whenever it fits you, I won't be online if you do it wednesday, but that's life.
-
UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - VOTING
Voted Very happy with the contents, felt around 20 of them deserved a few points, had a hard time deciding exactly which songs needed to be above the others though.

The Razzies 2011
I kinda feel like watching The Last Airbender now.
-
UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - VOTING
Heard all the tracks through a few times now. None of them leave me thinking "wauv this is brilliant", but I think the general level is quite good, and I enjoy just about all the tracks.
-
UNKNOWN PLEASURES V - VOTING
A full 4 tracks from Danish artists this time, don't think I've seen more than one at a time before. I suspect a fair amount of people will know the Turboweekend track after both Tiesto and Joker released very good very remixes. Knew 5 of the tracks up front, looking forward to getting to know the rest of them.

Elbow - Build A Rocket Boys [March 7th]
Likewise here, and on the 2nd and 3rd listen too. I hope my perception of it changes though, given its popularity in this thread.

UNKNOWN PLEASURES V
Entered one, already looking forward to next one where I have an even better contestant.
-
Arctic Monkeys - 'Don't Sit Down...' // 'Suck It And See'
Thought it was fairly repetitive and without their usual charm in sound and lyrics, hope I'll like their other new songs more.

Glasvegas 'EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\' | 04/04
Quite looking forward to this, loved both the original album and the christmas one. If they can keep an equally high level with this, I'll be more than happy.
