I'm not sure when I was last this excited about a tv-show, can hardly wait.

Only know Broken Bells, so fairly psyched.

Would very much like to reserve a spot, will find out which song tomorrow.

Sounds reasonable.

When are we seeing the next rendition of this? One before Christmas?

BuzzJack Nuggets Results
Not entirely sure how I would have voted, but both of the other songs in top3 would definitely have been up there, so in the end it probably wouldn't have mattered.

I have a very strong feeling my lack of voting will be my own undoing here.

Sounded like is an understatement, almost thought it was Mumford & Sons with a slightly distorted vocal...

Heh my entries can be somewhat predictable..

Surprisingly consistent points for my track, nice to see. Couldn't find a clear winner when I was listening, points seem to suggest the same.

I'll do this one soonish.

BuzzJack Nuggets ***Voting***
I'm a horrible person and I didn't send in my votes, have had the busiest week since forever.

Haim 'Days Are Gone'
Gave this ago as well, must say it really has it's moments. The Wire, If I could change your mind, Running if you call my name and Don't save me must be my favourites so far.

BOWIE//MURPHY ~ Love is Lost
Stumbled upon this the other day as well, it's really great.
-
Bastille - Of the Night
Received that one in the BJ cdswap earlier this year, love to see it released as a single, as it's really quite nice. It seems to be a very love/hate song to quite an extreme degree though.

So yeah, dead last. Great.

Arcade Fire "Reflektor"
If that's the case I'll cry.

Arcade Fire "Reflektor"
Looking forward to a proper classic porn soundtrack for the track Porno, given how they stated it was a dance album.

// Unknown Pleasures XIV
Finally sent my votes, had a good 19 songs I wanted to give points, and all of the top 12 would probably have made it to my top5 in the last many renditions of this contest. Can only say that I've really loved the songs this time around.

Arcade Fire "Reflektor"
That soundbite is excellent, if I wasn't already extremely pumped for this album, I certainly am now. Guess we'll see the first single in 2 days.

A dubsteb/rap remix of a Zelda theme tune, Unknown Pleasures always deliver... I already have 5 contestants for top points, really a top rendition of the competition this one.

// Unknown Pleasures XIV
Started listening. First 3 songs are really good, bodes very well for the entire compilation. Not sure how my entrant will do, doubt more than 1-2 at most know it, think it might surprise positively. I fixed the download problem on the second file by removing the 52 in the url.

I'd love to enter, will send mp3 later tonight. Lots of people sound really hyped about their tracks, sort of rubbing off on me now.

Arctic Monkeys - Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?
The first 2 singles I've liked from Arctic Monkeys in ages, hope they continue like this.

Scandinavian TV shows thread
Generally DR tend to let the story be told and then end the show, regardless of whether it would still have viewers. It can be frustrating, but from a qualityoriented view it's excellent, as the shows then take the form and length that provide the best possible show, instead of the one that will get most viewers over the longest possible timeframe. Neither Borgen or The Killing were axed in the classic sense, as both were hugely popular, it was just already decided that they should be replaced by other new dramas.
