  1. Halfway through, and impression so far is that the level is very high, quite a few songs stood out already at first listen, which is usually a good sign.
  2. Think Dropbox may be easier (not sure if it's faster though). dl.dropbox.com/u/.../UPXII.zip 34033531
  3. Considered entering Pilgrim as well, and think it will do fine, I'm not that big a fan personally, so decided not to. A good 4 artists I know, including my own.

My favourite Tarantino to date, really blew me away a bit. Really come to love Waltz after this and Inglorious Basterds, furthermore it's probably the first role I've ever liked Jamie Foxx in.
  5. Bet it's Johnny Marr.

The ending sequence of yesterday's episode is possibly the best spoof I have yet seen in a comedy show. So perfectly done and really quite predictable, yet takes you by surprise nonetheless.
  7. With that description and track lengths this can only be a huge succes or tank completely as a way too ambitious project. I hope and believe we'll see the first outcome

I reckon this show is a perfect exhibit of what many European shows (perhaps particularly Scandinavian ones) do better than American shows. The Mentalist would have been so much better if it had ended after 3'ish seasons, it would have felt finished, concluded and would have been a high quality show all the way through. Instead they decide to drag it on until quality has dropped so much that viewers no longer like it or actors don't want to do more seasons, ie. a quantity over quality approach. As long as there's money in it, the diminishing quality of the overall story doesn't matter, same tendency can be seen in many other American shows with continuing or semi-continuing story lines (Lost, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, etc..). Compare this to for instance Danish shows, such as The Killing. Would The Killing have had viewers for another season or 3? Definitely, but the overall feel of the universe would possibly deteriorate, and thus it was decided to move on to something new. The Mentalist would probably have been one of my all time favourite show if it had stopped after say 3 seasons, instead it continues in reiterations of the same plots and the initially promising Red John story line, which has now essentially turned into an endless goose chase. Rant over.
  9. Think I may enter a song that's not actually a favourite of mine, simply because it would do well.
  10. #1 Rihanna #2 Girls Aloud #3 Taylor Swift #4 Ke$ha #5 Ellie Goulding Guess we're not that alternative after all.
  11. Shame things are going downhill for Solbakken, I've rarely seen a team with as good cohesion as FC Copenhagen had under the last years of Solbakken's reign, everything just clicked, and the team performed far better than the player base justified. Then he went on to the house of lunatics that is Cologne, and predictably failed miserably, and now he has failed at Wolves too. He'll probably take a step to a slightly lower level of management now, and then return to the top tier once he's proven himself again, which he undoubtably will.
  12. ZEeLFWnc9eg Not impressed on first listen, apparently they have decided to go for a simpler and more poppy sound this time around, which would be quite a shame. Also, the album is gonna be out february 4th now and not in january :)
  13. Really really good stuff. I've especially come to love the long and overwhelming of In This Shirt
  14. Just revived my love for this band. Lyrics are really over the top emotional, lots and lots of loneliness, unrequited love and just amourous vibes, but exactly the overdoing of it fits well with the sound in general, starting to look forward to the next album.
  15. Don't think I have ever removed a song from the UP playlist as fast as Lindstrøm, very amazed it went ahead and won. It is nice to see a winner that really splits the audience though.
  16. As much as I love his studio versions, I don't think he sounds too impressive live.
  17. At a good 3,2k listens, I may actually beat you for that title :)
  18. Remind me again, is it possible to vote if you don't send in a song?
  19. Got it a few days ago, not sure I'll listen to it much though. So far none of the remastered versions or new songs have been better than the previous versions/songs.
  20. The Rehgehege-song
  21. Didn't really have anything good to send, but looking forward to listening to the bunch.

Got a bit behind on the new season and catching up now. Love the bench gag in episode 3, seems inspired by a similar gag in Arrested Development. I think the first few episodes have been really good, nice to see they're holding up the standard.
  23. This is gonna be a very long month.
  24. Henrietta is probably the most schizophrenic track I've yet heard. I do very much like the second part of it however, simple yet symphonic and catching.
  25. I quite like Sleeping Ute, and Yet Again isn't bad either. Looking forward to listening to the rest of the album.
