  1. Well United did get Kagawa, one of the most productive players in the Bundesliga, and while players such as Ferdinand and Giggs (and Scholes?) may not be able to help you as much as previously, they do instead have Vidic and Hernandez return from long term injuries, and the two new keepers should be more or less settled in by now. The money may not be there to compete with City and Chelsea when it comes to profile signings, but experience, continuity and the Fergie factor will go a long way.
  2. So apparently movie critics worldwide agree that this is perhaps the best superhero movie of all time and a really mindblowing piece. Way to make the wait less hard.... I really really can't wait to see this.
  3. Nostalgia, Ultra is by far the most easily accesible sound, so I'd go for that first.
  4. Got through my playlist The Journey 1½ time now. Some fine tracks inbetween, although female indie pop is not my favourite genre. I'm fairly sure I've found a few keepers nonetheless.
  5. http://frankocean.net/music/mixtape-nostalgia-ultra/ It's a mixtape, so you can find it on his fansite, and probably on his own webpage too, just couldn't be bothered to stumble through it all, so went with google instead. And you really are missing something, as it's truly excellent. After the first few listens, I'm not that fuzzed about Channel Orange, but Nostalgia Ultra is truly brilliant. Catchy, well produced, thoughtful at times and it aims further than the generic R'n'B we've seen for so many years. I've been utterly loathing the genre for the last many years, but Frank Ocean and The Weeknd really got me.
  6. I have a suspicion as to who received my cd, and if it's true, it was probably the least ideal person.
  7. Sadly I don't know much about mine yet, as my link didn't work. Just praying that Medicated Soap is on soon (followed by the sender) so I can have it resent.
  8. I (and likely many others) would be more than happy with the same old sound and style, it's more of a question of whether they can make songs that are as good as on the first two albums.
  9. Only clubs I could see him go to are Real, Barca, City, Juve, Bayern. PSG is probably still too low status and in a lower profile league. Juve won't have the dough for both contract and fee, Bayern are unlikely to be interested, Barca likely lack the money too and Real have good strikers already. That leaves only City (who really shouldn't be interested either with both Mario and El Kun in the squad, but seem to be nonetheless), if City cough up enough money I suppose he's theirs. If not then I suspect the club could keep him instead of selling him on to a competitor. I personally wouldn't mind keeping him if no good offer is there, not because I'd like to see a disgruntled Robin on the pitch, but because it's tiring to see stars consistently giving the club the finger. Then he can see if he can get as good a contract after he's turned 30 and has likely had a season less superb than the most recent one.
  10. My only worry about song selection is that there may be too many songs similar in tempo, other than that I'm somewhat certain my reviewer should be able to find at least one or two songs she/he likes/loves.
  11. And I've sent mine, Really looking forward to receiving a cd and seeing the review of the one I sent.

I can assure you, you're far from the only one to feel that way. Heck I even asked a friend who read the books, what the chances of a nude scene with her were. Apparently she's not in the books though, so not much help there.
  13. Will have to submit my cd after I get back from holiday, in 2 weeks time.

There are a lot of embarrasing situations, and I find them just as annoying. Modern Family does however reveal it self to contain a more than that comedy wise, there is a lot of wit in there, and subtle jokes (my favourites) are far from rare, a lot of the time they're based on contradictions between what people say and what they do (like in AD).
  15. Would certainly have had my 20 points, been it's been on repeat the last few days. Guess I'll have to acquire the whole album.
  16. So looking forward to this. He's never going to make anything that beats Hospice, doubt it's possible, but releasing great albums and EP's should be enough.
  17. Suppose we can just start it as soon as somebody gets around to starting it up.
  18. As i missed the last one, I'd love to participate.
  19. Very well hosted, absolutely loved the individual banners.
  20. With the 20 point deduction it seems my arch rival Thomsen once again finishes above me. Other than that I thought Spleen United would see a few more people who love the song, and a lot less people who think it's decent.
  21. I didn't have time to vote sadly, so shouldn't have any problems there Caïn.
  22. Somewhat surprised to see Zhala doing so well, never thought it stood out that much. Similarly I'm a bit surprised at the type of points my entrant is getting. Overall I'm mostly happy that I've gathered enough points to not go into negative after the deduction though :)
  23. Think I may have to skip voting on this one, only listened 1-2 times to the tracks and with a busy week, odds that I'll get up to 5+ listens seem slim.
  24. Very tragic, always incredibly sad when anybody feels so badly about their life, that they prefer death to it. On a completely inapproriate note, I would have found it slightly ironic if a member of The Killers was killed.
  25. Sending mine tomorrow, got it narrowed done to 4 songs by same artist.
