  1. Definitely in, just need to quickly decide which to go for. Got 5 tracks that I feel will all do well, but not sure any of them can win.
  2. What a nice time for me to join in on the show. :o to see how low Magenta Skycode are, really one of the bands I've listened to the most after a discovery here, Open Air is on an excellent album.
  3. It's available on iTunes at least.
  4. Nice, slight change in sound, very promising indeed.
  5. Fully agree, thought he had one of the best performances, and the whole "redemption scene" worked very well, and indeed a fair bit better than some of the other more sentimental scenes.

On the other hand I really doubt whether Liverpool have the offensive quality grind out a win over the bottom12 week after week, they have looked somewhat toothless in a lot of those games, whereas I don't doubt that they'll get results against a lot of the top teams. I don't think they will make it into the top 4, but will be competing with the worst of Arsenal/Tottenham/Chelsea for 5th.
  9. A clear Gary Moore
  10. Do The Weeknd's songs fit in under criteria 2? Got a few tracks I'd nominate if so.
  11. Could anybody send me a link to UP4? I don't have it. Tony to the rescue!
  12. Shame with the bad launch in the US, doubt I'll be seeing it myself, after both reading the books and watching the original movies, must admit I'm a bit curious though, and suppose the story could support a 3rd viewing/reading.
  13. Would certainly love to see a new UP soon, think it's around time.
  14. Played it 4 times today, probably the weakest in the bunch both soundwise and lyrically, nonetheless still a good album. Next and Dirty Diana are my initial favourites, but likely to change, as they are also the most catchy. I really like his MJ imitation, but in the end I don't think his cover improves on the original or deviates from it in any significant way, shows how brilliant his vocal is though.

Finally caught up with the show, which sadly means I've now watched all episodes and have to wait for new ones. Season 1 was horrible, but after that it's been steadily developing and is possibly now better than ever.
  16. My top played for this year really says everything about my love for The Weeknd. Quality all over on both mixtapes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Henrikhka/TopTracks.png
  17. Somebody that I used to know is probably the pop song I've listened most to for the last many years, sounds very good. It's not my impression that any of his other songs are worth listening to though.
  18. Well title of final track certainly doesnt bode well.
  19. Going to watch these badboys live the coming sunday, anybody been to one of their gigs yet? I'm quite looking forward to it, though I suspect their music isn't that suited for live performances.
  20. Mostly just checking http://the-weeknd.com/, under the assumption that's where it'll be up first, guess it could leak though.
  21. Well release your f*cking mixtape already! swear I'm checking twice a day to see if it's there yet...
  22. The Weeknd definitely also my new artist of the year, thought the Bon Iver album was quite great too. Other than that my biggest discovery was probably The Antlers, I did however find their 2011 release slightly boring, whereas I absolutely love Hospice. Overall however, I've either become worse at discovering good music, or there have just been fewer good releases than usual.

  24. Got 2 tracks that are really good compared to this one, which did fairly mediocre, lets have a shorter wait for the next round.
