A few more entries added to the list on the first post. Hopefully that's everyone so far.

Good question. If you start the quiz and leave before the end it will just submit the answers you’ve given and the rest will be left unanswered. You can’t return later and pick it up from where you left it unfortunately. The questions are pretty straightforward but looking at them and having a long time to think about the answers or even research them (i.e google) would be too easy. I wanted it to be like the TV version of the quiz where people buzz in with the answers but we obviously can’t do that, so a timed quiz seemed like a good compromise. The picture will also help with the answer to the question as it will end with the beginning letters. I hope that makes sense. It’s my first quiz and I’ve tried something new - if you think it doesn’t work we can tweak the concept if it’s ever used again. Have a go and see how you get on, I’m hoping it will be fun - the feedback I’ve had so far has been good.

Here is this week's quiz. It's going to be a round of 'Answer Smash'. If you've not heard of Answer Smash it's where you combine two answers (one from a picture and one from a written question) to form a 'mash-up' answer. It's taken from Richard Osman's House of Games and an example can be seen by following this link House of Games. As an example if you were shown a picture of Miley Cyrus and if the answer to the question was Russian Roulette, the answer would be "Miley Cyrussian Roulette". The answers are smashed together! Further examples and instructions are given on the quiz page. I've used an external quiz generator to make this a timed quiz, so there is less time to google the answers, which will hopefully make it a little fairer!! You will have 1000 seconds to answer the questions (roughly 15 minutes) so I suggest you only start it when you have enough time!! A right answer will score 5 points and an incomplete answer (just the picture/or answer to the written question) will score 1 point. Please can I have your entries by Sunday 22nd Nov 11:59pm. My first thought was TMBTL but having been stung on these quizzes before for not picking a popular female I thought Havana would score better! Luckily that did work for the next question having first thought of Calvin Harris and then switching to Rihanna!!

Keane would've scored 21 points from me and A-ha 5 points. The Police made the shortlist but outside the points. Some great bands mixed in this section.

London Grammar were in my list too - would've had another 16 points. I'm thinking a few of my favs have completed missed the countdown now (I would've been their only voter). Will wait and see. Brilliant to follow along Gezza

I hated M People - all their songs sounded the same to me!!

Tears for Fears were my number 28 - amazing run of 80s singles. I only know Portishead's first album which is brilliant.

It amazes me how well everyone does at these. I really struggled although I’m disappointed not to recognise a couple - especially the Imagine Dragons cover which I’ve seen many times.

I loved All About Eve - I spammed their first album although they wouldn't have made my Top30. Nirvana I'm surprised they weren't much higher. Liberty X were a guilty pleasure of mine and ELO have some amazing songs. Florence and the machine are way too low (they would've scored 23 points from me!) but maybe people thought of Florence as a soloist?

Some great bands in that reveal - esp Skunk Anansie but Biffy so low!!! If I had submitted my votes they would've got 19 more points. #Justice4Biffy

Great quiz MANGO - really liked the diversity and I'm pleased with 6th (after finishing in the bottom 3rd of the other two quizzes). 1 point away from top 3 too (damn you Estelle - I was convinced that was Feels by Calvin et al).

Belinda Carlisle!! That one was driving me mad - I knew that I knew the album but I just couldn't bring it to mind!!

Madness (38) and Def Leppard (36) were just outside my Top 30 but Jamiroquai were 25th so would've got another 6 points from me!! All brilliant bands.

And I think ‘Love Again’ is better than all but Physical!

Beautiful South were pretty close to my top 30 - I loved some of their early albums and carry on up the charts is an awesome greatest hits collection.

When I did my list I ended up with a top 70 shortlist!! Mumford were in my top 60 and Beach Boys Top 50. Vienna is an all time classic from Ultravox and I liked a few of their other singles.
