  1. January is by far the better option, look how it worked out for Issues. Ego will struggle to even go top 10 in the middle of Xmas and Xfactor fever, the max it'll probably get is #8 and it'll need to be the best-selling non-Xmas/Xfactor single of that week to even get to #8, it's very worrying TBH and a huge mistake. There's a 75% chance it'll miss the top 10 and be overlooked at its release date, where with a January release it'll be the complete opposite. The label is really f***ing things up for them.

I think Not Good Enough would make the ultimate 4th single and era closer. <3 It's the most stunning ballad I've ever heard! The lyrics bring me to tears and their vocals on it give me goosebumps, it absolutely has to be released! :o
  3. Oh, just noticed the song's back on up for a change on iTunes. A huge rebound Irish iTunes it's now #23 after being #53 just 2 days ago! Also #27 on UK iTunes! :cheer:
  4. Which makes you think how well If This Is Love would've done with the equal amount of radio support seeing it didn't even make it past the top 30 on the Airplay chart.

If they had a proper Christmas single that wasn't on the album it could have been huge and like JCGE they can then re-release the album with it on it which will regain the missing much needed interest and hype. And then they can release Ego in January and the era's success would have been safe.
  6. A bit better today, but still disappointing. I guess we have to start getting used to the freefalling now :(
  7. It's in the latest issue, they look absolutely gorgeous and the article is brilliant too. Definitely worth getting a copy, especially if your a fan of course. Some scans thanks to Lou from their official forum: http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae177/lottielou86/th_SDC13392.jpghttp://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae177/lottielou86/th_SDC13400.jpghttp://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae177/lottielou86/th_SDC13402.jpghttp://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae177/lottielou86/th_SDC13402.jpghttp://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae177/lottielou86/th_SDC13408.jpg
  8. "Girl Groups Have To Work Hard" http://images.digitalspy.co.uk/09/24/160x120_the_saturdays_01.jpg The Saturdays have said that girl groups have to work much harder than boybands in order to look good. The five piece, who released new album, "Wordshaker" last week, claimed that they are forced to spend longer time getting read than their male counterparts. "Being in a girl group is completely different to being in a boyband or rock group," Rochelle Wiseman told the Daily Record. "I think we work harder because we get in earlier to do make-up. There is the glam side of things. They can just turn up in whatever they want and still look cool. We're not always dressed up and we love to dress casually but there is a lot more work involved in being in a girl pop group because people are interested in the glamour - compared to being in a rock band, where you can just sing and go home." The star added that their busy promotional schedule means that they get very little time off. "Most of our time off is spent sleeping, seeing family and getting rest. We work really hard and we've had one week off in two years. Sometimes we're up at 5.45am and keep going until 1.30am the next day," Wiseman said. 9. I think they could just and hopefuly pull off a longer run than Get Sexy, which I completely agree is utter and definitely up with Untouchable as the two worst songs of the year! I'm confident that Ego will walk all over About A Girl though, it better! :P
  10. #27 UK iTunes #53 Irish iTunes #22 Today's Midweek
  11. FIO was #14 last week not #9 but great to see there's hope for another week in the top 20. :D

I'm so confused LOL. In Jack's update The Sats are #22 but on my feed they're #25! Now what's their actual position? :drama: Hopefuly the former!
  13. Well said, you took the words straight out my mouth! Completely agree with all the above, like I said its been extremely rushed, they should have waited till the 2nd or 3rd single before releasing the album and the 2nd single needs to come out in January and not December. The worst part of it all, is all the fault lies with the label and not the girls and if they were to get dropped from that I'd take a serious stand against it if I were them.

The Sats keep going in the wrong direction! :snif: Forever Is Over (the song of the year) really doesn't deserve to be that low in its 4th week of release, does anyone know where the album version is on iTunes? Hopefuly high enough to keep it top 15 in tomorrow's midweeks :magic:
  15. Indeed. Lady GaGa will probably also push it down to #24 by the looks of things now, ugh! :(
