It is slightly comforting to hear that even Oasis are not having huge sales so far, which I would have expected. But I'm pretty sure their album will be up there for quite some time and I wish I could say the same about Rudebox but the way things are going now I fear we're only going to see it drop further.
It's so frustrating.

Right. When was he in Derby lately... ? -_-
Jackie, I know what you mean about fans not standing up for Rob by for example sending email complaints.
And it p****es me off no end.
I think we already had a discussion about this on TRWS when Ms. Newton had her dissing RW-phase.
And many are just like "Oh well, it's only a stupid tabloid, giving them attention by writing in is just what they want, but it won't change anything."
Yeah, maybe it won't change anything, but at least if one does complain they know what we think of them, even if they won't publish it. And the more do it, the better if you ask me. -_-

The 3am girls have not had a dig (should I add YET here...) but GMTV had.
Just read on puerobbie that they made a comment on the charts like "Who needs RW?" :arrr:
Well, it's not really surprising from what I've hard about that channel and a certain woman who doesn't like Rob and is married to the GMTV boss... <_<
On the oher hand though Chris Moyles said on Radio 1 that Lovelght is a fantastic song and would deserve to be much higher. Bless him. :) If only people listened to him... -_-

Unless they are busy compiling a 4 page pullout on it or something.
jups, I think you shouldn't make jokes like that. Remember, how did it all start with
Bongo Bong... ? :o :puke2:
Well, if we can rely on the latest news it won't be the next single anyway but still... the shock was enough.

Thanks for clearing that up, jackie. Yeah, I guess it's too much to ask for them to mention where they take their quotes from, probably would be too much of serious journalism
But I have to say I prefer that "article" to the one I expected. Although I'm not sure it isn't yet to come- maybe later in the week or next week, when TT go to no. 1... I can hardly believe they wouldn't say anything about it.

Something to vote for again, the Radio NRJ awards.
Rob is nominated for Best International Male, which he won last year. You can vote as many times as you like, who knows, it could all be a fix but at least Timberlake will not host this ceremony. -_-
The link takes you directly to the right category (thanks to purerobbie).

The ceremony will be on January 20th. Hhmm, if She's Madonna is really going to be released in January, that would be quite a good time and place to perform it live...

I think the way things are going for Rob now, especially in the UK, it probably doesn't matter what is released as a single, he can't get a hit anyway. But I agree with Scotty. At least She's Madonna is radio friendly which cannot be said of many songs on the album and with some promotion (hopefully...) I think it could go Top 5. And at least it won't scare people off completely, which I think would have happened with Bongo Bong.
I have given up hope he'll ever have another no. 1 in the UK though.
-
Oh well, I guess it's another Top 10 single for him. -_-
Part of me is relieved that it went Top 10 at all, but the other part thinks it should be a lot higher because it really is a great song. It's ironic when you think about it, even the Rudebox single which many thought was awful (personally I think it's a bad track compared to Lovelight) got higher. :o Maybe mainly due to the fact that people have already got Lovelight on the album.
And that's the next point, I wouldn't mind the singles position so much if the album was doing better.
Only in its 4th week and it's out of the Top 10... :puke2: I'm afraid we'll see it drop like a stone over the next weeks.
Oh and then of course, I'm awaiting a bashing in tomorrow's press for TT beating Rob on downloads.
Just hope it won't be too bad. The 3am girls will certainly have to say something about it, let's hope they'll be the only one.
-
Lets hope Lovelight is top 10 :(
You can say that again. When you think about it it's ridiculous. I could live with his singles not getting to no.1 anymore or even Top 5. But we really shouldn't have to worry about an RW single not making the Top 10.
(particularly when it is a really good song like Lovelight ) It's just wrong.

Wow, he made the cover of the Scottish Sun, so the whole stoy better be true.
To be honest- I don't know what I'm more happy about- simply the fact that Bongo Bong will NOT be the next single (that alone would have pleased me :D ) or that it will be She's Madonna instead, to me this is the perfect combination. :yahoo:
I guess that article about the video of Bongo Bong that made us all think it would be a single -
any bet that they just shot a short film for this Channel 4 progamme. I always thought the description of the video sounded stange anway, as apparently Rob was not a part of it. It would all make sense that way.
I shouldn't get too excited as long as it's not official  - but I'm already wondering what could a video for She's Madonna be like... ?
PS. I was just about to use an abbreviation for She's Madonna, and then realised that would be SM
ahem ....
-
Oh, good to see it's still in top on Europe. Although it's true, how frustrating that he's doing better everywhere compared to the UK. <_< But I'm actually slightly pleased that it's still no. 9, didn't I read somewhere that it would fall out of the Top 10 this week...? Trying to see the positives here
Rob did well staying on top in Germany, there are 4 new releases in the Top 10.

The pics .... Looking very dishy.
I have no clue who the girl is jups, but any bet she's a model.
The Victoria's Secrets Fashion Show, exactly the place to be for our Rob. :D
Oh, and I wonder who he was having a "secret" meeting with.
Any suggestions what it could have been about ? And we don't know if it was a male or a female friend, right ?
She's Madonna the single
in Robbie Williams and Take That
I too think that the general public would appreciate Rob more again if he didn't release anything for a year or preferably even longer. But we all know Rob is keen on finishing his contract with EMI, so I'm afraid that's not on the cards.
So, Rob won't be in Edingburgh with PSB !
I guess that could mean the whole article was rubbish, maybe She's Madonna won't be the next single
after all. Scotty, was there a mention of that as well on the PSB site? I mean if they say that gig with Rob will not happen, they could have dismissed the other rumour at the same time as well.
