I think I read somewhere that Rob will perform 2 songs...? Hope that our local MTVs will at least show snippets of the show in the news - or I'm hoping the whole performance will turn up on youtube :rolleyes:

That's worrying indeed. <_< To be honest I could understand why Rudebox wasn't getting a lot of airplay, I wouldn't really describe it as "radio friendly" but I think Lovelight is just that. :unsure:

As I'm located in Austria I can get my copy from the shop on Friday :yahoo: I think I have never been more nervous about an album release of Rob and I think we all know why... Great idea to start a thread like this. Do not only make sure YOU buy the album straight after release but also do the following: 1. Make sure all people who are remotely inerested in Rob and have bought his records before know the album is out. If they didn't like the Rudebox single, convince them that the other songs on it are much better and that they have to buy the album. 2. Also play the album to people who have never liked Rob. It does sound different from his previous records, so who knows, they might like it. :unsure: In my opinion, once again EMI has not really done a good job promoting the album so we gotta take care of it ourselves. :huh: :lol: Besides, I really hope that all fans who want to buy the album anyway are aware that it is out on October 23rd - who knows, all the rumours about the album being delayed because of the 90s might have confused people :blink:

well, I hope NMS will be getting no money from Rob since the offending lyrics have been removed from the album so I guess he was trying to get money elsewhere and actually I think it serves the Sun just right. :P Because (as has already been said) if it hadn't been for Vicky blabbing NMS probably would have only found out about the lyrics after the album release. And we wouldn't have had all the hassle and worries that the album could be delayed, to be honest it was doing my head in... :wacko:

Rudebox is out earlier in Germany, namely on Friday. But if someone has already got a copy now that would not be legal :blink: BTW, I'm happy to be back. :cheer: My pc had crashed completely on Sunday, had to get a new one and it took me a few days to set up everything. Got a lot of catching up to do now. :D

My Windows Media Player is working again- I'm not sure that's a good thing because now I have listened to more songs than I actually intended to. :o :unsure: Overall I think this is going to be a fantastic album.

I really don't believe this. My Windows Media Player is not working - NOW of all times ! :o :arrr: And I have no clue what the problem is. :cry: If it still doesn't work tomorrow, I'll go round to my brother's place to listen on his PC. I'm not sure I want to hear all the songs, I'll probably leave some for when I buy the album so I've got some excitement left. But there are certain tracks that I need to hear ASAP and She's Madonna is one of them. :yahoo:

I think the week before, according to Scotty's list, is much stronger than Lovelight's week (except Timberlake). He could already have a hard time beating some of those. :cry: Gosh, Lovelight really deserves a no. 1, I'd want this SO bad. But like jackie said - I'm not having much faith in the UK singles charts right now. <_<

If there are serious plans to release Bongo Bong as a single and not She's Madonna I think we should flood EMI with protest emails. They simply CANNOT do that. :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: Ok, I haven't even heard She's Madonna, I'll give you that but I know Bongo Bong and I think anything on the album should be a better single than that :cry:

I've already said in the Lovelight thread that I've got a really good feeling about this song, I had from the moment I first heard it. But no matter how much I'd love it to go no. 1 I'm sceptical it can make it. :( There's just too many Robbie fans out there NOT buying the singles (plus still too much negativity surrounding him :arrr: ). When Sin bombed many were shocked because they liked the song but if you asked them if they bought the single the answer was a NO. <_< But of course I'm having my fingers crossed and there's hope because judging from first reactions things aren't so bad for that song :)
