  1. Here we go again... 18 DAYS now ... ! B)
  2. Even if - that doesn't count, the countdown is for the official release date -_- So it's 19 DAYS now !!! :cheer:  :yahoo:
  3. Poor jups. Part of me does want to hear everything, the other part would like to wait until I've got the album in my hands  At the moment the decision is easy because my computer is playing up a bit and I haven't got proper sound, so no Kiss Me for me anyway right now
  4. Me neither. But no. 1 can never be bad, at the moment I'd like to take it as a good omen ^_^
  5. Yeah, me too. But when and where would it be ? I guess it would have to be in South America, it only makes sense around the time when he's there. And it means more workload for Rob in between tour gigs...
  6. I'm getting more and more excited as the release date is getting closer. :yahoo: So I thought I'd start this countdown thread. If our dear moderators feel it is unnecessary, feel free to delete. But first: 20 DAYS TO GO ... !!! :cheer:  :cheer:
  7. Loving the golf piccie !! I feel slightly grateful towards Vicky for putting it into her column :o  So nice to see this after all the nasty news. :)
  8. Just read on purerobbie that the Lovelight VIDEO is now no. 1 on the UK itunes. :cheer: I wish it was the song already, but that's not bad either is it...? How far did the Rudebox video get or was it not available as a video download ?
  9. I was just wondering- since that album launch party that was scheduled for after the MK concerts was cancelled will there be no launch at all now ? I'm afraid so. Of course Rob deserves his break and also after that I wouldn't want him to get too stressed again but I think it's just such a shame if there won't be a release party. :(
  10. To be honest I'm past caring. The press has written it off as a flop anyway (of course we know better). -_- Now roll on Lovelight single and the album, that's what's really important to me now. :yahoo:
  11. Has Mr. Conway really been talking to Vicky ? I'm being sceptical. Maybe I just don't want to believe it all (or at least think it's exaggerated), because if you take it seriously it sounds quite worrying to me. I mean I knew Rob was exhausted but is it really that bad... ? Maybe it was but let's hope the boy is having a good rest and will be on top form when he returns.
  12. Good news about the presales - I guess, when you forget about Amazon -_- I'm old fashioned, haven't preordered anything. On the day of release I'll go to my local record store to pick up a copy there. How bad is that ?  So, don't worry jups, suppose I'm going to be the last one to hear the album on here
  13. Exactly. I've always been against downloads. Let's go back to the stone age :P  So, no. 1 in Argentina ?!? :cheer:
  14. What are EMI like, I can't believe they're putting Lovelight up against JT's new single :arrr: The papers are going to love this :puke2:
  15. Found the Mojo review on purerobbie, something to cheer us up  Mojo magazine - Page 101 - Titled _ Robbie gets his groove back. Rudebox is another flick of the Vs to all those who doubt the substance behind Robbie Williams' incorrigible irrepressibility. Initially concieved as a quick and dirty reposte to last year's occasionally overwrought Intensive Care, Rudebox, with its mixture of autobiography, Stoke-on-Trent vernacular and well-chosen covers ( among them Louise by Human League, Manu Chao's King of The Beat - with Lily Allen - and Stephen Duffy's Kiss Me ) ia an intriguing, funny and inventive listen. The highlight is the Pet Shop Boys collaboration,She's Madonna. Camper than Spanish footwear, it acts as a golden showcase for the glory of millennial pop. In another time, we'd have feted Williams as an ian Dury figure. With this sloppy, happy, ingenious record, maybe its time we did. According to Tess who typed up the Mojo bit there is also a really good review in the "International DJ magazine" never heard of that one before, let's hope it's important
  16. A very frustrating scenario  but not unlikely I'm afraid as it is so in these days to slag off Robbie I understand why many people would not like Rudebox, but how can anyone NOT love Lovelight ? I was hoping that it would make people forget about Rudebox and make the album a success, but I'm not so sure anymore
  17. How kind of you jups to think about that Mr. Horace something  But as they had to take the 90s off or put a new version on the album (or whatever was decided, I mean we still haven't heard anything official) they could have changed the title as well. I never was happy with the album being titled Rudebox and I'm afraid I never will be, for two simple reasons: 1. Many people haven't exactly got a positive association with "Rudebox" and 2. you always have to make a difference between Rudebox the single and the album  So who cares about Horace, I want the album to be called 1974 or basically anything except Rudebox
  18. Fair point too, jackie. I guess there are reasons for both, posting the nasty stuff and NOT posting it. It's quite sad that we're even discussing this. It's not like it is the first time Rob has got bad press but these days it is really getting out-of-hand. Sometimes I don't even feel like reading anything online because I fear I will stumble across something really nasty  With many of the things written I think it would be Rob's turn now to sue somebody, preferably the 3am girls. I mean, they make it look like he's gone totally mental, that's not funny anymore. I can't believe that they are getting away with writing stuff like that, it's just not right. But I guess by suing them they would get too much attention which they don't deserve. <_<
  19. Although I certainly hate reading all this s**t I have not yet made it (and think I never will) to just ignore it and not read it, sadly. I think that I would come across it in any way or another, if not on this board, it would be elsewhere. And then there's this feeling that I need to be informed about the nasty rumours (or lies) that are written about Rob because just in case people come up to me and say "Have you heard this?" (some of my mates who know I'm a RW fan sometimes really do that...) I wanna be prepared and not hear it for the first time, so I can go "Old news and total b****cks anyway" -_-
  20. Haven't really got a news article to post, only a snippet but I thought as the nasty news thread has been growing fast today  I wanna put something positive in here. Which is that robbiewilliams.de still has a short article about the Rudebox album and it is still scheduled for release on October 20th (Germany gets new releases on Friday). The site is sort of official and related to EMI Germany, so I hope we can rely on the release date not being delayed. Because if it had to be postponed - shouldn't they know by know ? It's only a month away
  21. :puke2: Are there any people out there who take the "articles" (they don't even deserve that name) of the 3 am girls seriously ? Their stories about Rob are getting sillier and more bizarre by the day. I know that Rob is having a well deserved break but after reading that sort of C**P I'd like to him to do an interview to show everyone that he hasn't lost the plot and to set the record straight on all of those stupid rumours. :arrr: I know I shouldn't let it happen, but reading stuff like this makes it hard to really look forward to the album- especially as we still don't know if it will be postponed or not.
  22. Same here. But it seems we're pretty alone.
  23. I don't know why everyone's having an issue with the video being "so dark" -_- I can see Rob and he's looking gorgeous, what more do I need. But then, I'm easily pleased
  24. Exciting news! :cheer: Although I'm a bit confused too and wonder if there will be an extra dvd of the Close Encounters tour or not, I'd really like one  . I've got most of the stuff of the Best Of but not on dvd, so that will be very welcome Really like the title as well "And through it all" :D
