  1. I'm wondering too if this is anywhere near sold out. I would't want him to get back on stage after his break and playing to a half-emty stadium (and a few lamas, as jups suggested  ) I hope they weren't just like oh well, he plays stadiums everywhere so let's have stadiums in South America too. I hope they know what they're doing. But somehow I think ticket sales can't be so bad - if they were, they probably would have cancelled the South American gigs instead of the Asian ones to make sure Rob gets his break. But that's just my logic...
  2. I'm not a fan of Gary, never have been, but haven't got anything against him either. Except maybe that he just is a little boring and it seems so is his autobiography :D
  3. Read that too, Scotty. And apparently the release date hasn't changed (so far  ). Which I find surprising, I was afraid if they had to take the song off the album or put a new version on it, that would mean a delay. Let's hope not. I'm impatient enough as it is already, can't wait to get my hands on that album. :yahoo: BTW, does anyone remember the "So Sue Me" - shirts from Rob's first ever solo tour in 1997 ? Maybe Rob should start wearing those again, and us too. Still got mine in a wardrobe somewhere.
  4. Had a look at the comments on youtube again, it seems everyone loves Lovelight I just can't get enough of the song and video, Rob looks soooo damn fine... And I love his dancing throughout the clip, it's so nonchalant. I'd love to see it on my TV screen already, will be even better. What do you think, will Rob start including Lovelight on the setlist for the South American tour... ?
  5. Makes a fascinating read- erm, not  Tsss, Gary, calling Nigel a "dictatorial svengali", that's not exactly nice is it... ? Maybe NMS should sue Mr. Barlow for a change...
  6. Of course they haven't printed an apology to purerobbie or their member Kathi for misusing her quote in last week's edition. <_< But at least this article now is sort of alright. -_-
  7. That's good news, basically. I wish the press would take notice of it too instead of writing how Rudebox is a huge flop.
  8. Will they ever leave him alone ... ? :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:
  9. Hope he will perform Lovelight (would make sense) and it will end up on youtube so we get to see it. Like Scotty I think it should be interesting to hear how Rob pulls it off live. It's not exactly an easy song to sing.
  10. Some TRWS members have already heard Lovelight on radio, both local stations and Radio 1. Apparently most of the comments so far were positive ! To be honest I don't blame the radio stations for not playing Rudebox that much. Although I liked the song I always thought it wasn't very radio-friendly. For example my national radio station oe3 loves Rob's songs, they always get loads of airplay. But I only caught Rudebox once or twice after 8 pm... I think Lovelight will make a great radio song, let's hope it will get a lot of airplay. Start requesting it, especially when you are in the UK.
  11. According to the following article the release is on November 13th  from mtv.co.uk Robbie Announces Not So Rude Next Single ... If you love the Williams but can’t stand his latest tune, you’re in luck… The next track from Robbie Williams’ new album will be a storming disco number produced by man of the moment, Mark Ronson. Out on November 13, ‘Lovelight’ is a cover of a little-known soul track by Brit singer Lewis Taylor. Robbie said, “I fell in love with it instantly. I can’t believe how big that song is and no one knows it.†DJ Ronson, who’s also worked with Lily Allen, added, “I’d never heard it and Rob came to me and said ‘I want to cover this.’ It’s an amazing, obscure English soul record, and he’s delivered a great classic blue-eyed soul vocal in the lineage of George Michael, Andy Gibb or Hall & Oates.†If you couldn’t get your head around Robbie’s MC-ing skills on 'Rudebox', fear not - on this tune he’s back on familiar soaring falsetto territory. 'Rudebox' the album is out on October 23. Sounds very positive ! Some of the youtube videos have been taken off apparently but I managed to read a lot of comments when they were still there and there wasn't a single negative one. I got the impression that some non-RW-fans liked it too, so hopefully that's a good sign B)
  12. JT hosting AND performing ... ? :puke2: Like Scotty I kind of have a feeling who will get those awards, nevertheless I'll vote my socks off to support Rob. BTW, I was sure that James Blunt would be a nominee for Best Male. Not that I would have wanted him to win obviously, but I'm just surprised he is not nominated.
  13. So it seems most of us (if not all) on here like the Lovelight song and video again ? Well, could be a good sign, because it wasn't like that with Rudebox  I'm very surprised by this new release date of Oct. 13th - I guess they want people to get over the shock of Rudebox -_- I'm afraid it might be a bit too soon though. It should hit the radios ASAP and as Scotty said if the video premieres on TV on October 2nd, that leaves very little time before the release... Let's hope the best. The boy needs a hit.
  14. I like the darkness, I think it's cool and makes Rob look very mysterious and sexy Besides I think the song is pretty camp, so maybe that's why the video is relatively dark, to tone down the campness a bit  Anyway, like it a lot :D
  15. AAHHHH, it's there now !!! :yahoo: Maybe my fit has impressed them B) I liked Rudebox (both song and video) but I just LUUUURVE Lovelight. I think the video is very stylish and Rob looks hot hot hot ! Oh and the song is much better too without the DJ talking over it  Oh, I'm very excited, can't wait to see it on the telly screen :cheer:
  16. Official people, where is that video ? I'm not the most patient person when it comes to Robbie related stuff. Wanna see the video and wanna see it NOW!
  17. no. 6 for the second week is not so bad, is it ... ? Of course the f***ing press will say differently but what do they know :arrr:
  18. Yeah, It's kind of odd voting for artists you've never heard of   But that's the only way to get to Rob's category, at least I haven't found any other option.
  19. You can vote here: http://www.mtvla.com/canal/los_premios/06/...requestid=27962 Select any country and then you have to go through all the categories until you get to Pop International which is where Rob is nominated. Since he is performing it would be nice if he could pick up an award as well :)
  20. I'll read more carefully next time. I always get those two mixed up
  21. Good news on the European charts. :cheer: Rudebox went in at no. 5 in my homecountry Austria this week, which is not bad at all for our charts. Besides Sin hasn't left the Top 40 ever since its release, our radio stations love it About the UK charts this week - not sure I even want to know ... :puke2:
  22. Thanks jupiter. I didn't recognise Ant on that pic ! :o
  23. :o I haven't seen the Sky docu, so could anybody please tell me why is that guy pointing at Rob's crotch and everyone's laughing... ?
  24. I was almost starting to miss the kiss'n'tell Well, it wasn't for long
  25. Exactly. I made a similar comment on another forum already a few months ago when things weren't half as bad as they are now. People seemed to think I was paranoid  Well, I wish I was. But I don't think I'm imagining this, it's getting too obvious now. I can't see this negaive press stopping anytime soon, I suppose they won't rest until they have ruined his career. :puke2: What I hate most is being totally helpless about it all, I don't just wanna watch this happening, wish there was something we could do
