September 2006 News
Good point, jups. If Nigel only got to know about those lyrics AFTER the album release I wouldn't be that bothered. Of course he would have still taken Rob to court for them, but at least we would have the album. I'm being a bit egoistic here  I hope there will be news on the developments soon, I wanna know what's happening and if there will be a delay and how long that would be. Do I get this right, if Rob leaves the song on the album then it won't be delayed but Nigel will defenitely sue him then ?

Lovelight - Released Nov 13th
:cheer: Fantastic news about Lovelight ! Can't wait for Monday now. :yahoo: I'm also very happy that it will be released in November and not December, it's not a very christmassy song anyway. LOVE the pic on the official site, looks fab. I actually got a bit of a shock because I was reminded that the video was shot in my hometown Vienna, in the meantime I had almost forgotten about that. So for that reason alone it will be a very special clip for me

September 2006 News
I guess for once I agree with Vicky :o I'm not sure if it's a wise thing to do to be rapping those nasty lyrics live... could get him into even more trouble. Rob, we'd like to hear the Rudebox album at some point, so please don't overdo it. I was already wondering- if they take the 90s song off the album and there will be a delay, how much time could we be talking about here ? A month, much longer than that... does anyone have an idea?

September 2006 News
He's never too tired for that. I've heard the first night in MK went really well, crowd was amazing and Rob as well but he's still feeling ill and having a cold or something. I suppose at the moment he's having minor health problems and by cancelling the Asian gigs and giving him a longer break they want to prevent it from getting worse. As for promo in South America, I will only believe that when it's official. And even if it is, promotion is far less exhausting than doing those 2 hour concerts.

September 2006 News
Do we get any good news these days...? Oh yeah, the Sky ratings one, thank goodness for that :) I've started to worry already a while ago and I do even more now about the Asian tour leg being cancelled. It's just all too much. Not the concerts alone, also the album being released while the tour is still going (em, hopefully  ). He should have done his tour, take a few months break after that and then release the album and promote it plus singles properly, not this half-hearted "promotion" if any at all like for Rudebox. -_- The c**p he's getting from the press won't help either, in the end he just is very sensitive and in some way it's getting to him I guess :( Wonder if the tabloids are going to run this story (concerts cancelled) tomorrow, I'm already preparing myself for it <_< Hope he will get through the rest of the tour without major health problems, a longer break after the American dates will sure do the boy good.

September 2006 News
Do you think, jups...? I thought this would be the worst, because it would mean that the album would not be released at all until things are completely settled ...? I don't get all of this anyway. If the track is pulled off the album, will there still be a court case or not ? The way I understand it Nigel doesn't want the track to be published, so if it won't be on the album is there still a need for going to court ? Hello, any legal experts on here ?

September 2006 News
Oh God, no. Rob is not really lucky these days, is he... So much is going wrong with this album, sometimes I think it's not meant to be. :( As for Nigel, I don't even want to comment on that b****y b*****d. Besides, I think I have already done so in another thread when the news first came up. :puke2:

They could be. It is probably true that the launch party has been cancelled but not because of the reasons they suggest. I'm sure it is because of the legal problems with Nigel.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Something to cheer us up again after the UK midweeks shock: Rudebox has gone to no. 1 in Switzerland, it's his first ever no. 1 there.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Well said, jupiter. Agree with everything you wrote. Of course in the German speaking area not every journalist loves Rob, but you would never read the sort of articles about him that you get from the UK press. I'm often speechless about how plain nasty and vicious many of them are. It's a disgrace  So Rudebox has dropped to no. 7 now ? That's disappointing after those good news from yesterday.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
:o Sorry to burning up, I feel slightly embarassed now. I could have sworn Feel was released before Escapology came out. Well, maybe it was like that in Austria or maybe I was hibernating or something when it all happened  Great news about Germany and Italy And about the midweeks too. Gosh, I soooo hope Rudebox can really make it into the top 3 this time, bet that would annoy the critics no end. Fingers crossed everybody! B)

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Sorry, but that's just not correct. Feel was the FIRST single from the Escapology album, which then sold a lot. Not the other way round. And he already was "established as a great star" back then. -_- We all know it could be better than no. 4 obviously and people might say for an artist like Rob that's not a good chart entry, but considering that he released something so different from his usual stuff and the negative press no. 4 is actually really good.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
no. 4 it is then which is totally fine by me. But then again I'm not a bl**dy journalist -_-

September 2006 News
:puke2: :puke2: :puke2: I really felt a little sick reading this. I hope it's a load of rubbish. If TT really wanted to do that sort of thing that's a bit childish to me. This kind of battle is the last thing Rob needs. Well, we already know who's side the press is on. Even if things are fine between Rob and the boys, of course they will do everything to stir up a war. :arrr:

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
No. 1 in Germany, Rob has said so? Well, I guess he meant the download charts. The new sales charts won't be out until Wednesday. But maybe he's no. 1 in the trend charts. That would be nice. Trippin was a no. 1 hit in Germany too, for two weeks even.

Leeds: Live on Sky One
Sounds like you all had a great time watching. I'm only a little bit jealous   He fell over during Come Undone ? Awww, poor baby.
-
September 2006 News
 :o  I suppose it was one of his ironic marks on the subject which he has made so often and the press makes a headline out of it. But should you be serious Rob, good luck to you in finding the right one for you. Woman, man, sheep, ... whatever makes you happy. B) So BTW, how was that documentary? Haven't read anything about it so far, everyone's only talking about the concert. Fair enough, but I'd love to know what kinda footage there was in the documentary. Not everyone is lucky enough to get Sky TV

September 2006 News
I don't think that Nigel's name is mentioned in the song, but I'm not sure if this is only about the song. Rob also explained the line "Are you a thief?" in the interview with Vicky, saying the TT members didn't see any money of the European tour and he now knows very well that you can make money in Europe, so... Probably that is already reason enough to sue, for Nigel anyway. That bast*rd. He was furious that TT fired him after their comeback but apparently he can't do nothing about it so he decides to sue Rob instead, comes in really handy ... :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :puke2:

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Really ? Hope Rudebox can stay in the Top 5 until Sunday. They could hardly call that a flop, could they ... ? I suppose they could, just because it's Robbie and he used to have no. 1s ... :arrr: But in my book top 5 would be a brilliant achievement, especially with all the slating Rudebox has got... Needless to say I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
I'm starting to dislike this whole download business even more. Now it's being called his lowest chart debut, although the single has only hit the shops today... I know it's downloads only, but I just don't like the sound of a statement like that.

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Justin Timberlake ? I thought his single was already released last week and is no. 1 in this week's charts. But yeah, of course SS and Nelly F. are still tough competition. I have to say after that bad start Rudebox got off to (like Susie said...) I would be happy if it went top 5 or top 10 even

Leeds: Live on Sky One
It really saddens me that I can't watch the concert on TV... It will be broadcast in my area on a pay TV channel which I don't have. I have already asked friends and friends of friends, but I just don't know anyone who can record it for me

RW Single. Rudebox (2006)
Twinkle, I think there's already a post including Holland somewhere here. I don't know about today, but yesterday or on Friday it was at no. 2 in your itunes chart, so that's really good ! As for the UK... it's a slow process  He seems to be climbing one spot a day, but I won't complain, that's better than falling down a spot per day I guess
