  1. Just because VN wrote a great review now, I'm not suddenly a fan of hers. And like jupiter I'm a bit sceptical, let's see what she goes on to write. <_< But I do think it was just really clever what Rob did. After slating Rudebox Vicky was expecting him to ban her from getting her hands on the album before the official release, she said so herself in that article. But now he has given her this exclusive interview and an album preview- does she deserve it ? Probably not, but I think from Rob's part it was a very mature and also wise thing to do.
  2. Oh my, someone has changed their tune ... :o :o :o I'm even more shocked she was in the stadium at the same time as me...
  3. Somebody from TRWS has bought The Sun and you'll never guess: The album review is really positive! :o Shocking, isn't it...? And although I'm still sceptical they seem to have an exclusive interview (there also will be another part tomorrow), it even says "our lawyers are watching", so people should be very careful posting the entire thing or even quotes from it.
  4. You can get into the top 40 these days with selling just 91 copies ?!? :o I knew the actual CD sales are much lower than they used to be but this is still shocking. Yes, Jackie, Rudebox was fantastic live. Only one thing: I think Rob should get the crowd involved a little more. I don't know if you heard this on the radio, but the only thing he did do was letting us go "Hoooo - ooo" and "Ho-Ho" which was nice but in my opinion it should be more than that. He could encourage the crowd to shout "Do the rudebox, shake your rudebox" and maybe splitting sides like before Strong to see who's louder. I think the song is ideal for audience participation. But maybe Rob is not brave enough for that at the moment, he is well aware that not all of his fans are up for it. Imagine how embarassing it would be if he did what I suggested and there would be total silence. But I still think he should try it. Rudebox has great potential, particularly as a live song. Show 'em, Rob!
  5. It's true Rob tore the shirt up himself first, but when he went down to the crowd I think they jumped at the chance and wanted to rip it off completely. Somehow scary, yes, but then- can you really blame them for trying...? -_- It already was open down to his belly anyway as you could see on the pictures
  6. Isn't the pic where they pull at his shirt a bit scary ? I thought it looked scary when the scene was on the screen. I thought he was going to end up naked... he didn't, security came to rescue him. After that he went to change his T shirt.
  7. Em, anyone seen the Sun's online page? In today's paper there is Vicky's track-by-track review of the album. But do we really want to know what she has to say? :puke2: It also says that the full, "exclusive" interview is in the paper (the only extract given is this "I'll never marry" - part which is already on contactmusic). I can hardly believe Rob gave Bizzare an interview. Doesn't that mean he would have talked to Vicky...? :o  About the whole "I'll never marry"- thing. I think it might just be the right way. I think when you're looking too desperately for your soulmate also putting yourself under a certain pressure, nothing will happen. The best things in life often happen to you when you least expect them and when you're not deliberately looking. BTW, how funny that the headline goes "I'll never marry" and then in the article he says "I won't be fit to marry for another 10 years". Wouldn't call that NEVER. But of course it makes for a better headline.
  8. Oh, three it is then. I think we're really getting somewhere - not
  9. susie, don't be afraid, just let it happen !  Can we count on you in buying a copy then ...? We had already started counting the UK sales, what was the latest score, 3 or something ? I will defenitely buy a copy, but unfortunately I'm not in the UK. <_<
  10. Just thought of something: At one point, think it was even during a song, Rob took something which looked exactly like an asthma spray (I mean he applied it in that way). Surely it wasn't one, but some sort of other medicine probably.
  11. I've had the most amazing night. Sadly, as I have been reading it didn't come across that well on the radio. Well, you've heard it all yourself anyway, so I'm trying to think of the things you couldn't see. During the concert I often thought I have to tell you about this and that, but now I can't really get it all together. Right before the concert started there were Mexican waves going through the audience. I lost count after the sixth one, we kept doing them until the fireworks went off. When Rob told the doctor story he showed his bum and there was actually a plaster on it. Probably he felt he had to back up the story because many people know he has already been telling it in July. As I said yesterday, I just think the reason that he is telling us again is that he is ill again. The girl who had the banner saying "Would you kiss me if I teach you yodelling ?", Rob snogged her. You probably guessed it. There was a pause between yodels and when he did the last one, he had just kissed her. At the end of Strong Rob and Johnny got very cuddly with each other, which was really sweet. The hole in his jeand is getting really big by now, I was expecting them to tear up completely at some point, but they didn't unfortunately. Before going off after the bits of She's The One Rob opened the zipper of his tracky, showed us his lovely hairy chest and put his hand on his heart. There was loads more but I can't think of anything else right now. Will tell you of course, if I do.
  12. I'm back. Not going to write a lot now, getting home was a nightmare today. Who says She's The One was from Knebworth...? It was HERE and NOW in Vienna. It was SO beautiful. It's a shame that it sounded as we weren't singing on Angels, because we defenitely did and I think Rob was quite happy with it, gaves us the thumps up after the first verse. But together with the music it didn't turn out well obviously which is sad. I just loved it today, last night was nothing compared to it. More details tomorrow. As for Rob had to work hard to get the crowd going, as Scotty said - well, he did say that Germany and Italy were amazing, but this was the best so far. But then again, it was on the radio and maybe he was just lying to make us feel good... ? I don't know how it came across on the radio but the atmosphere in the stadium was amazing.
  13. Soon I'll make myself ready to go to the stadium again :yahoo: :cheer: Hope you will all enjoy listening, have a great night!
  14. Is it strange that I'm the only one who's not really happy about it...? There were rumours about the DVD being filmed in Vienna on the 19th, but I never really believed it. Radio broadcast, DVD,... I'm feeling a lot of pressure for tonight! :puke2: I'm thinking of punching everyone in my surroundings who is not screaming and singing loud enough, or not getting up from their seats. Getting more nervous by the minute.. Scotty, I don't know anything of a broadcast on German TV. Is this supposed to be live as well? Absolutely no sign of it. <_<
  15. I will - both, have fun and bounce like crazy. Thanks twinkle and susie :D I was just on the phone to a mate who was there last night but seated in a different part of the stadium. We agreed that we both heard almost no singing during Angels, which is a bit shocking  But my friend said she recorded a bit on her mobile and the singing was really loud and sounded amazing. How weird is that..? Well, I hope that Rob heard us on stage.
  16. The thing is Rob would never have chosen Milan, because he admitted himself that before that concert he didn't like Italy that much... Apart from that, he only got to choose from Berlin, Paris and Vienna as he said in an interview. It's always a risk. You never know beforehand what the audience is going to be like, no matter which city it is. Also different nights in the same city can be very different. In 2000 I went to three London gigs in a row (Docklands Area). Crowd-wise the first one was really good, the second was actually bad I thought and the third one was amazing. I really, really hope we won't disappoint him tonight. And I also hope he will be feeling better healthwise.
  17. Obviously it's not only his knee. When Rob told the doctor story he said that he woke up with a temperature today, but I wasn't sure if that was only part of the story so I didn't mention it yesterday. But today in our papers (BTW, he got rave reviews!) it says everywhere that he performed being ill, so ... well, with the weather lately it wouldn't be surprising if he had caught a cold. My throat is very sore today, but I know why ! My arms hurt as well but I'm sooo glad that I'm going again today ! :yahoo: I'll try and post some of my pics, hope this will work. They are not fabulous but some of them are not so bad I think... As you can see I was more to the side of stage, but I liked the view from there. Tonight I'm going to be more middle-ish, so I get both perspectives which is nice. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06032.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06029.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06021.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06021.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06019.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06017.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/tanja80/rob-vienna06016.jpg
  18. What are you thinking...?!?! OF COURSE I AM ! :cheer: Off to bed now, having lovely pictures on my mind ...
  19. Well, I'm back. I can't sleep anyway right now so I thought I'd give you my report straight away. There will be no sort of an order, I'll just write everything I can think of, hope you forgive me. So, you already saw what happened to the t shirt. I think it was at the end end of Radio. Rob just tore at it - I don't know if it was on purpose or if it was an accident, but it ended up like you see it in that pic, we sure didn't mind  He left it like that for Rock DJ, but then he went down to the crowd and they almost ripped it off him. Think he got a little scared and after Rock DJ he changed into another shirt. He told the doctor story again, I couldn't believe it... Before Back for Good he flirted with a girl in the audience, I have no clue what her name really was (it was probably Czech or Croatian or even Arabic, I really don't know) and Rob couldn't understand it either, it sounded something like "sandbag" and that was what he called the girl then, also told her she had a lovely pair of "sandbags" ... Oh, and he also did the TT medley before Back for good. I think Johnny went down really well. I was on his side when they split the audience before Strong and our side was much louder I think. They also did the Stayin Alive bit, I absolutely loved that. Rob liked the crowd singing along, especially the long bit "Stayin aliiiiii --iii ... ve" if you get what I mean, afterwards he said that was f***ing great. He also tolds us we sounded beautiful during Make Me Pure. Back to him and Johnny, they threw the ball with their hands, it was almost a draw, they were really very close. Rob then asked for those who caught the balls to hold them in the air and the crowd should be FAIR (LOL) and decide whose ball was further back. Hm, guess who won... Rob said they had to throw the balls today because he had hurt his knee. Maybe someone shouldn't have been playing football on Thursday... <_< :D I'm really not sure if this is anything to be proud of, but Rob said we would win the prize for the most disgusting banners. :o  One went something like "Would you f*** us for a blow" and another one was "Can I come on stage and kiss you for a while?" and he sort of said "At least she wants to kiss, while those just want to f*** " Then there were two girls with a banner saying "We came from Brazil to see you" and he teased them saying they could have saved the plane ticket because he was coming to Brazil anyway and he also said "You don't have to travel to see RW, RW will be coming to see you" One bit between songs was a bit gospel-ish, I really liked that. I think it goes like this: "If you came to be entertained tonight, say Halleluja. If you came to have a funky night, say Amen. To those who don't want to be entertained tonight, say f*** off " LMEY was absolutely brilliant  and I also loved Rudebox live :cheer: , sadly I think the rest of the audience wasn't too thrilled. Afterwards he asked how we liked it and the cheers weren't phenomenal, Rob still said thank you and I felt a bit sorry for him at that point... Before Angels there was a marriage proposal !!! Rob brought two people on stage and introduced them as his friends. The man's name was Dean but I didn't catch the girl's name. Anyway, so Rob went "Dean has something really important to say" and then we were all holding our breaths, guessing what was to come... Dean went "I love you so much" and then you just couldn't hear anything really because the screams and cheers were so loud. But it was defenitely a marriage proposal, because Dean put a ring on the girl's finger. It was heart-breaking... During the first verse of Angels Rob sat with them on the stage and hugged and kissed them both, it was SO sweet.  There was also the mass-b-o-job bit and the cameras flashing - he still gets really excited about it like a child, bless him... Sadly, there wasn't any Kids and also no sign of Rock Me Amadeus. In the end it looked as if his knee really was hurting, he almost limped off stage and on the screen you could see his face, I think he was really in pain, that was no pretending. So maybe that's why there was no Kids (maybe also a reason for telling the doctor story again..?) At one point he thanked us because "Everytime I come here you are really good to me" . And in the end he said that he hoped we had fun and enjoyed the show because he had a fantastic night on stage. I hope he really meant it, I'm not sure. The crowd was not bad, but I think it still could have been a lot better. In my area I was the only one who really knew the lyrics to every song, many people didn't even sing during Angels which is just a no-go. At least they got up from their seats for the major part of the songs.. As for the sound, there were some problems at times. I hope they can sort this out tomorrow when everything will be on the radio... All in all it was an amazing night. I defenitely felt a glimmer of magic and I'm hoping for full magic tomorrow. Let's hope there can and will be a climax, especially on part of the crowd. Rob himself chose Vienna for the radio broadcast (he said so on radio oe3) and I sincerely hope he won't feel let down by us after tomorrow and regret doing it here... Come on Vienna, I know you can do even better than tonight! Oh yeah, took some pics, have to see how they turned out, maybe I'll find time to get some up here tomorrow.
  20. With or without Rock Me Amadeus, I'm going to enjoy myself tonight. 11 hours to go !!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Can't believe it's actually happening tonight...
  21. Maybe it's also because I teach history  When others don't think of it then it's fine I guess. Yes, Falco died in a car crash in 1998. Only one sleep to go until the first concert. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: That is, if I can sleep tonight
  22. Nooo, I want my blog! Ok, so that one entry (if you know which one I mean and I could imagine that is the girl who complained...) was a bit over the top, but he need not stop it all just because of that. Rob, just find other topics to write about than your sex/lovelife! Before reading this article I thought the lack of blog updates was just due to the tour and that we get the backstage video clips instead.

  24. Yes, Nicky. The song was called Jeannie. That video cause a big scandal :o
  25. osiris, do you know Falco's music...? I have no idea how familiar people are with Falco outside the German speaking area. If anything people know Rock Me Amadeus, but that's about it I guess. As I said, I'm not acually a fan, but I know a few facts about Falco's life and there are some parallels compared with Rob's. Drugs, depression, no luck in love, scandals because he liked to provoke ...
