  1. I don't even think they need a new single out to turn up for the opening of an envelope. I can't really be bothered with all of this anymore. At first I thought great, something positive at last but now my impression is more like it will be the same old c**p. TT are going to win their category (they are performing, so who else should win -_- ) and Rob will be made to be look like a loser because he hasn't got a chance in his category. Regardless of the fact that he is up against The Queen among others...
  2. But guess who's going to be there... TT will perform and are nominated in the music category along with Sir Elton and Amy Whinehouse. All of a sudden I'm not so thrilled anymore about this whole event. -_-
  3. Interesting. -_- But I better not get my hopes up. Probably some evil person put it up there to play with us starved RW fans who wait for the world's greatest live performer to entertain them again.
  4. Despite the poor quality I dare say he looks gorgeous on that pic. But wait, there's something disturbing me, what could it be... hm, maybe all the girls to his left and right <_<
  5. Has anyone noticed that Rob is the youngest on that shortlist and by far ? I didn't realise myself until it was pointed out on TRWS but it's defenitely true. At the age of 33 it's amazing what he has experienced and what he has achieved. If we'd have a bow-smiley I'd use that now. :D
  6. Well, would be better than the 3am girls. Since it's a Sun thing, there's no danger of that, thank God. ^_^ I'm already thrilled Rob made the Top 5. :yahoo: Still would be interesting to know how the final winner is chosen and by who. Maybe we're about to find out.
  7. Top 5 ... :o Who would have thought it :cheer:  :cheer:  Will there still be a public vote for the Top 5 ?
  8. Oh, good for him to make the shortlist. I'll be voting as often as I can.
  9. Hm, I don't know Osiris. New artists will always be compared to someone, it's inevitable. The fact that all up and coming male artists like Mika get compared to Rob tells me that Rob's success is the ultimate goal, what all the newbies will be measured by. I'm ok with that. Says something about Rob's great achievements, that's the way I see it. B)
  10. HA ! Sorry for getting excited, I jump at every slightly positive comment as they are so rare these days -_- So true though what they say - I think Mika is alright and he's the man of the moment, but let's see where he is in five years.
  11. TT reunion: I'd say Rob, go ahead and do it and if it's only to get it over and done with. I'm tired of this never ending speculation. If he doesn't do it at the Diana tribute concert there will be rumours about TT's tour and on and on it will go. So let's get it out of the way please. Plus imo that Diana concert is probably the best occasion to do it if it must happen.
  12. That "fight" never existed. Another story made up by the press, as Rob himself said on Wetten Dass back then  I think Susie has got a good point that 50 Cent might just be using Rob's name for promo and attention, he wouldn't be the first to do it. -_-
  13. I'll start to get worried when it's defenite  Personally, I wouldn't mind it that much, but if Rob duets with 50 cent I'm afraid a lot of the fans that are left (in the UK especially) and desperately want him to ballads again will go off him completely. But maybe Rob is just past caring after Rudebox and everything that went with it, and I could understand that too. I don't see how it would fit in with Swing next (and that's pretty sure as Rob said it himself in Iowa) - hm, could be interesting if he had a swing album/single out and a song with Fiddy to follow  Or actually, why not put the 50 Cent duet on the swing album
  14. Oh, sweet triumph... Of course it would be better still for Rob to come back with a smash hit to rub in the face of his critics, but this is not a bad start. At least it's one of the most positive (music) news in quite a time and probably the most positive Rudebox-related news ever.
  15. Blimey, those Pesci articles... I know I said Rob should take a break, but reading that rubbish I'm like please make some music again or get a girlfriend for them to write about
  16. I wish people would concentrate on the fact that Ronson said the new tracks are brilliant and not an experiment like Rudebox - but of course all the talk is about Rob wanting to spank the AM, which was probably said as a lame joke by Rob. Thanks a lot Mr. Ronson and Victoria Newton for making it a headline, I bet many will take it seriously and it will give them further proof of their image of Rob, namely that he's an arrogant idiot. Sometimes I'm just past caring... :( The new material sounds great, but I hope we won't get to hear it for quite a time, he shouldn't have a new album out before 2008.
  17. Em, have I missed something here ? Have certain people got new usernames like Scotty and jupiter... ? And why all of a sudden, is it a new fashion ? Am I totally out if I keep my old username ?  How about if for next year's April Fool's we all change our username and don't give any hint as to who it could be, like the national flags   I don't find that Live Earth line up particularly spectacular and that's not just because Rob is missing. :P There's just no one like him to get a crowd going and Live 8 proved that. I love it how when I hear about Live Earth they keep saying how this will be even bigger than Live 8 - and before that Live 8 was bigger than Live Aid.... do I make any sense... ? :D
  18. How nice, everyone knows what's best for our Robbie and tells the good old press about it. <_< :puke2: Paolo Nutini, when have you had your last headline ey... ? Talking about RW must have done the trick. -_-
  19. Great, Rob vs TT on VH1 if there already wasn't enough rivalry between fan camps  Unfortunately, I cannot vote from here. And almost equal end result would be good, I'd be surprised if TT don't beat him 70 to 30 % or something like that
  20. No one commented on the George Michael article  - am I the only who is delighted that a colleage has spoken up for Rob, at last ... ? I think it was about time and if he should ever read here  THX, George, respect ! jups, you forget with comparing the TT album and Rudebox, that TT have sold lots more than Rob in the UK and that is the only thing that counts for the press. I think you said yourself once some think that the world ends at Dover ... ? -_- In my hometown there isn't a run on the TT tickets, I don't think so because there are still lots of ads on the radio, in papers... they'll be lucky if they sell out by autumn, if at all. I think they overestimated themselves a bit here, they should have chosen a smaller venue, even Nelly Furtado did and she sold a lot more records than TT over here. The big hype is in Britain only and all fingers crossed it will stay like that.
  21. TT are doing more albums ... ? Now that surprises me, I was convinced they'd do the clever thing and go off again as a hugely successful group that they always were, first time around and now with their comeback. It's easy to get people excited when you've been away for 10 years. Should be interesting to see how it all develops when they do further albums - but ey, they've got a big loyal fanbase that won't mind them doing the same ballads over and over again so I guess they'll be alright. I guess there's no chance of TT shocking their fans with a new style
  22. Same old, same old... lots of speculation, no one really knows anything. <_< And I'm not sure his mum has done him many favours with those comments  Ossy, basically I'd agree with you, but it's a matter of how to do that reunion. What everyone means by it is that Rob will go on stage with them again for one song or something like that, I don't think anyone truly believes Rob will go back to be a full member of the group again. :puke2:  If he decides to do that one off appearance I think it will indeed be him who the spotlight is on because he's the one coming back. What I hate about it all is a lot of people thinking he might only do it now because his own career is in crisis. -_- Has anyone seen the BBC article where all they go on about is TT's success and Rob's decline in RECENT months ? I couldn't be bothered to post it, idiots. It infuriates me how everyone seems to forget the amazing achievements he's had with his SOLO career in the 10 b****y years before :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:
  23. Oh, I didn't realise we had an anniversary coming up. :D Happy Birthday to us all then ! :cheer: :yahoo: And a big THX to all our mods for the great work. Fudge cake it is for me too ^_^
  24. dazzleland, then you must be thrilled that Oli is nowhere to be seen in the latest ones, only the other two guys. :D PS. Don't tell anyone, but I think he's still somewhere nearby  ^_^
  25. BRAVO to that journo from Closer Magazine for going against the popular trend of crawling up TT's a** and bashing Rob, if only there were more like him. I'm not saying they should slag off TT instead, but leaving Rob out of it when they sing their praises on them would be nice. ^_^ Susie, funny you should say that about Mark and Gary, I have already been wondering the same. I feel a bit sorry for Mark - he's between the fronts and I guess he always has been. I respect him for standing up for Rob although he's not in the band anymore. :)
