Just read that someone from TRWS got a similar email from the Muse people at about the same time as the RW one, so I think we don't need to worry that it has to do with being behind in votes. And if so, then Muse are too. :P Maybe the award will go to the Guillemots (no clue how that is spelt correctly) :o :D

I've just decided to be positive and excited about this swing album. The release date could be too early and Vegas, I don't know, but what the f***, I love our man doing the swing. :cheer: Thinking about it, there's two things I want from this album: I hope there will be at least one song on it that Rob has written himself (like "I will talk... ") and most of all I hope there will be a smasher of a duet, although I couldn't think of anyone straight away. Suggestions... ? :unsure:

Maybe Vicky got something mixed up. It's not like she got the year of the tour right... Of course Vegas would not be good news for UK & European fans. :o What do they think who will go to that concert then ? :unsure:

The whole Rudebox experience has left me pretty disillusioned with RW fans, I thought they would be more supportive. -_- As for Chris Moyles, well that's good but it might be too late now. :( Newton from The Sun has been quite positive too ever since Rob gave her that interview, but it doesn't seem to help much and I think her calling Rudebox the worst single ever is what sticks in people's heads, despite the good stuff she wrote about the album afterwards. The damage has been done and I don't know what it would take to mend it.

I think we should keep in mind that this came from the Daily Star, so... I won't beleve anything until it's definite. Personally I'd love another Swing album but from an objective point of view I doubt it would do his career any good, particularly if the release date is so soon. :unsure: BTW, loving the title suggestions. I don't really know what to think of the idea of a new swing album. Part of me would like that, but in any case I think a summer release would be much too soon. I don't know get their logic of throwing out one record after another and thinking this will help EMI and Rob after the Rudebox fiasco, I tend to share Scotty's opinion. I'm afraid if they keep releasing stuff within such short periods of time, it will rather put people off, especially in the UK :(

Some interesting and encouraging info from the chart thread on purerobbie: She's Madonna is no. 1 in the Italian airplay charts and it has already entered the official charts ins Sweden on downloads only (at no. 11 even if I remember correctly). I've always had a feeling the track could do really well in Europe, fingers crossed

Like others I think he's asking for a flop with She's Madonna. :puke2: No promotion, no B sides... I've already heard quite a few (die hard) fans say they won't buy it, because there's no B side. So if those won't by it, who will ? :cry: I'm afraid we're in for another Sin Sin Sin disaster, chartwise. But then I ask myself: does it still matter ? The press already say he is a flop anyway, nothing but no. 1 would be good enough anyway. Still, it's a shame. She's Madonna is a fantastic song imo and it would deserve to be a hit, but it will be far from that the way EMI (or Rob's management or he himself or whoever makes the important decisions...) go about it. I really wish there would be no more single releases at all if it's done like that. What's the f***ing point. All it will be good for is that it gives the press more fuel to slag him off. And TT's new single being released a week earlier won't help either. -_-

Oh God, I don't believe this. Why do they always choose such strong weeks for release ? Do they not care, do they not check who releases in the same week ... ? :arrr: BTW, when is the new TT single out ? I hope it's not anywhere near Rob's release. I remember once you could vote for all categories on the Brits site, but only who you think SHOULD win but the winner was still decided by the panel.
