  1. Predictions for this years awful winners single? Simon still hasn't recycled 'Angels Brought Me Here' in the UK. Infact he might even be planning 'Man in the Mirror' for his beloved Danyl. Then there is always 'Right Here Right Now'

Olly – I think that Olly brings great vocals and a bit of a genuine personality which is more than can be said for a lot of the other finalists. Although not as good as last week he still put on a performance and fitted in with the big band theme perfectly. The question remains as to why he has been on first from Simon’s category three times now. Lloyd – This performance was terrible, I really can’t say anything constructive other than he needs dancing lessons as he is completely wooden. The song choice was so predictable and the only reason I can remember this performance is that I was nearly sick when he done a back flip. You are no Aston mate. If there is any justice he will be in the bottom two this week. Miss Frank – I really don’t think these girls get enough praise. The vocals are there and they look great together as a band. The rapping part was original and brought spice to the performance. Once again they deserve to stay. . Rachel – She looked like she was enjoying herself for once and this improved her performance. I did not exactly get excited by the performance as I find her so unlike able. That performance after the song was a joke. Jamie – Louis was right this song is not big band and for that alone he deserves to be in the bottom two. This guy just bores me he is not exciting and will struggle to last. Stacey – I really can’t stand this song and this affected my enjoyment. The vocals were good but she really should have sung ‘What A Wonderful World’. Danyl – Oh please Simon why are you giving a standing ovation [just as I predicted], this version had nothing on Adam Lambert and Cheryl love this arrangement wasn’t original on his part he got the arrangement from Muse. Joe – It was good to see a non ballad side to Joe but the dancing was really terrible. In order for this boy to be a star he needs to sort out those teeth they are horrific. I couldn’t help but think the whole way through that his vocals are always perfect. I think he will definitely make the final. Lucie – I kind of agree with Simon here she is an actress as she is putting on a fake persona week in week out. The vocals are perfection but she is just so dam unlike able that I can’t warm to her. If you want a better version of this go search for Melinda Doolittle. John and Edward – I guess we have to have this light entertainment on the show in order to gather attention but there has to come a point where they get voted out soon as they are just getting worse. Bottom 2 candidates – Lloyd, Jamie, Rachel, John and Edward
  3. It is amazing how one tv show can singly handidly demolish the UK music industry. Monopolies are illegal when it gets to a certain stage so why is it allowed here  The song will be terrible as the MJ version isn't even one of his best.
  4. It really is quite a sorry state of affairs.

http://www.justgiving.com/greatormondstreet/ If you want to donate money to the same charity go there instead of robotically doing what Simon Cowell wants you to.

The point is, it is preventing other artists that deserve number one from getting there. The charity excuse is horrendous why not donate to the actual charity then instead of buying a cd single. No groundbreaking music has come out of the X Factor, Leonas first album was crap the only good songs on it were BL and BIT. Alex's album has left alot to be questioned. I don't think Will Young and Girls Aloud can be regarded in the same category as they never had a long running show to promote their offerings. It disgusts me that GA's success only gets HUGE when Cheryl is on X Factor and they release their worst album.

It would be good if Jay Sean could at least overtake Alexandra Burke.

Exactly it is disgusting they are using charity to promote X Factor they do not give a crap about the actual charity. CIN and Comic Relief also bring some humour into the tracks and it is a bit of fun. Whereas X Factor just completely destroys the song with 20+ imbeciles screeching over it. I agree about the Just Giving page there really should be someone in the media with power to do this. Illegal downloading is not destroying the music industry in the UK, X Factor is.

Is anyone else suprised Miley is not yet top 100 after all the fake versions. Who is buying this Westlife crap do they not realise there is a superior version on Itunes that was top 10 a few weeks ago. Nice to see Jay Sean having this much success after ten years of busting ass which is much more than can be said for the idiots who are about to take over our charts for the next three months.

It is probably for the best the record company can just pull it now and release it when the video is out.
  12. Can I point out that there is a charity single out there right now by the Young Soul Rebels that actually has some credibility and is out there in order to help a charity that the MOBO organisation consistently work with. This is just a cheap stunt to gain the X Factor more press and make Simon Cowell more 'loved' when he is basicall the music version of Hitler.
  13. Michael Jackson will be turning in his grave. When Simon Cowell thought this idea up, trust me sick kids were the last thing on his mind.
  14. THE X Factor's finalists will release a charity single next month - for Great Ormond Street children's hospital. The 12 acts recorded a cover of Michael Jackson hit You Are Not Alone in the Abbey Road Studios last week. They will sing it live for the first time on November 15's results show, and the single will go on sale the next day. Last year, the finalists' cover of Mariah Carey's Hero raised more than £1 million for armed troops' charity Help for Heroes. Show supremo Simon Cowell said: "Following that, we decided we wanted to do something annually on the show to help good causes. "I'm very proud of the single." Hospital chief executive Dr Jane Collins said: "Everyone here is extremely excited. We really hope the public will buy it so we can help more sick children from across the UK." And lung-transplant patient Jade Rowles, 14, who met Alexandra Burke last year, said: "I think it's brilliant that X Factor is supporting the hospital." News of the world

I think it is disgusting that sick children are being used as a vehicle to create a monopoly of the UK music industry. Before anyone criticises this comment I support charities but this method of it does not appeal to me. Why don't the X Factor finalists do a bloody 10k run I'm sure that would generate more money.

The only people that haven't picked up on it are the UK media hm I wonder why? Could it be that Simon Cowell is in charge of everything that is written about the show and that there is no negativity towards it. Simon thinks he can play the UK public and guess what he is he set up Danyl on the first episode of the X Factor in order to attempt and create a Susan Boyle moment. He is still trying to drive this but frankly I think people are realising that Danyl is not that good. I guarantee everyone will look back in twenty years time and think, we lined Simon Cowells pockets for 15 years and all we got was $h!t music.

Me and my friends were discussing how exciting it was back in School just before X Factor came along how exciting it used to be the Christmas chart week watching TOTP to find out the number 1. The X Factor has ruined that for the past four years, infact it has ruined the whole run up to the Christmas period due to the complete blockade. I still maintain that Hero is the WORST number one single of all time.

Callum I totally agree but there will be no backlash the show is at its peak this year and I think it is only going to get bigger. As much as I hate everything to do with it I still watch the show as everyone talks about it and I don't want to be the only person not watching it. However, it is completely ruining the UK music industry. What message does it send out to people that all you have to do is have minimal talent to be the biggest selling artist of the year. I think we should have a campaign to keep Poker Face top of the YTD and at least we can leave this decade with some dignity.

Rihanna has no chance of getting number 1 she is either going up against Leona or this pathetic finalist single. The future of the UK charts is the X Factor unless people stop being so blind.

That is what annoys me about X Factor and the UK public. In the US it is completely different anyone who is on American Idol has to fight and claw their way to make it in the music business heck even the winner is not guaranteed a number one single. The British public are ridiculously blind to reality. Take tonight for instance Simon Cowell gives a standing ovation to Danyl for an EXTREMELY average performance of 'Feeling Good'. On American Idol, Adam Lambert knocks Danyls version into the gutter and Simon is modest about it. The entire competition is a sham and I wish the public would realise this instead of buying constant crap.

And to every robot on here who will buy this You Are Not Alone horrific cover. Think where your cd single of 'Hero' is now or if you listen to your download. Simon Cowell is a disgusting vile creature.

Oh you have got to be joking. Of course that $h!t will be number 1 until the X Factor single is released. Alexandra, Cheryl, JLS, Leona, Finalists, Winner. We are in the music version of a recession lol. X Factor has ruined the UK charts.

I think there are alot of delusional people on this board. Particularly the poster above who thinks it will enter at 60. Sexy Bitch entered at number one and no one in the general public had even heard the song. Gaga is the biggest star this year, the song has been playing on Radio 1 and her fans are obsessive. It is going top 10. EASILY.
