Does anyone else think Westlife have no chance of getting number 1? No one will know it is out until tomorrow night [by no one I mean older people who will download it] and it will be way too hard to catch up. Gaga for number 1.

Adam Lambert was way better at this infact even Michelle McManus was. Simon get over it he is not that good get out his ass.

Who are these up and coming acts that you are talking about? Are you forgetting that some of today's new artists would be nowhere without the internet? I think the thing is I am not willing to pay for one random song that I like from an artist I don't support. This debate could go on forever no one is right no one is wrong.

Some of the people in here have really weak arguments. I particularly hate the you wouldn't steal a cd from a shop so why would you steal it from the internet. These artists only exist due to illegal downloading as their music can become more known. I really don't see the issue with illegal downloading if you support artists you do like. I spend hundreds of pounds a year on my favourite artists. I also spend hundreds of pounds a year going to concerts and festivals. So if I want to download a few tracks illegally for my own personal use then I bloody well will.

I agree the real truth is being hidden. Illegal downloading is just the way things are right now. I will use Whitney Houston as an example her album came out in America months ago if you wanted that album no one in this day and age is going to wait to purchase it in the UK. From my perspective I spend a vast amount of money on cds. However, I have changed my habits. In the past I would buy a cd single of any song that I liked in the charts. In the past couple of weeks I have bought both Alexandras single and album. However, I have illegally downloaded a few songs for example Chipmunk. Now I love Chipmunks new song but there is no bloody way in a recession I am going to pay for his download. Artists like Lily Allen have to put up and shut up they earn a heck of alot more money than most people could dream of.

Just noticed the ratio of male to female finalists is 8:2 and Simon claims we are overdue a man winning.

I don't know her personally but the vibe I get from her is that she is a complete little cow. Is the story about her going to some dance college in London true? That isn't exactly the little village that she keeps going on about. There are constantly stories in the paper showing her drinking and what rugby player she is dating now. Clearly these are things young girls do but when you act fake on tv then everyone can see this. Rumour from Digital Spy was that there was a chef at the house to do this healthy eating cooking they do and he said that Lucie was a little whinger whilst the rest of them were pleasant enough. I can't see anyone other than Olly, Stacey or Joe winning if I am being honest the rest just don't connect with the majority. If you look at past years: Alex, JLS Leon, Rhydian Shayne, Andy Steve, G4 Although not all of them were great singers or my type of performer they were all pretty likeable. Note I left out Leonas year for a reason due to her fellow finalist.

I think Danyl is a fantastic singer but he is vile from the personality that comes across. Plus Simon is clearly trying to create the UK Adam Lambert and it just isn't going to work. Danyl is too unlikeable to win.

Simon would give him the terrible 'When You Believe' that song was just terrible the first time round. He could have became a crap version of Michael Buble but I think Simon was so annoyed that Rhydian never won he would have been dropped anyway.
