I hate the racism debate and think it is one of the most pathetic excuses for someone not being voted for by the public. So many people I know acknowledge that Danyl is a good singer but they think he is so unlikeable and arrogant and they also hate how Simon stands after every song he performs. I honestly do not think the American Idol aspect helps either. The voters in this early stage are true fans of reality shows the casual fans don't vote until after half way through the series. Hence, these voters who watched American Idol know that Simon is attempting to turn Danyl into Adam Lambert and failing badly. I stated in this thread before the results show that a male singer is going to be in the bottom 2 every week as they will be splitting the votes. My interest in this series has gone way down as Miss Frank were my favourite. John and Edward may aswell win as none of this lot are ever going to match Leona or Alexandras success they are just terrible.

The Westlife debate could go on forever. I guess we just have to be thankful that they are not getting another number one. The performance was not 'amazing' as some people are describing it, just because they added a few lasers in does not defeat the fact that: 1. It is a cover identicial to the original. 2. The vocals are poorer So I tunes have messed up Cheryls album release, oh well, at least hardly any sales come from there. I don't think 3 words the song has any shot of making the top 10 as pointed out above. What is going on with Lady Gaga? Is it released or not?
  3. I don't think there will even be two million votes for a single show yet, the votes are generally very low at the start.
  4. Hero was horrendous as well.
  5. This is hardly not going to be crap with terrible vocals from LLoyd, J+E and screaming from Danyl after the key change.
  6. Do I really need to hear it? Of course it is going to be crap, no one can do a MJ song better than the man himself.
  7. Believe me I am not stupid enough to buy Hallelujah on that basis, I was suggesting there were people out there who bought it just for their hate of the X Factor cover singles. Read other forums today including Michael Jackson ones and it is clear the anger towards this. Had these 'singers' released an original song I wouldn't have even bothered posting but they are ruining a classic and spitting on Michael Jacksons grave. I am passionate about music and to see one man manipulate an entire generation for years [Westlife, X Factor] is disgusting. No matter what people say about Americans at least they have a backbone and can formulate their own musical tastes instead of having it dictated to them.
  8. Oh I was being sarcastic lighten up you sound very bitter about life.
  9. Of course the song would not sell without the charity tag. The whole campaign is centred round this charity issue. They would not even get away with releasing these dreadful covers if it was not for the charity tag. Plays to the participants strengths? Half of them can't sing a note in tune. There is not a demand for this single. There is demand for Leona and Alex but are you really telling me X Factor fans are demanding a group song to buy? Please. It completely is drowning everything else out. Other acts may aswell stop releasing from October to December as they have no chance at making number one. I'm pretty sure that X Factor related sales make up over80% of the top ten this week. It does affect my enjoyment of the chart actually. I'm not the only person with venom towards the X Factor just check the 100,000 plus that bought Hallelujah last year just to make a point.

215| Adam Lambert - Time For Miracles Interesting.
  11. Don't talk to me like I am a child. Either way no one who buys this will even listen to it.
  12. Oh please stop trying to defend that the main reason behind this single being released is for charity. It is completely disgusting.
  13. Nothing you say is going to stop me downloading music illegally. It is better in my pocket that Simon Cowells so get over it.
  14. This single is not for poor starving children it is for a hospital in London that treats sick kids. The hospital is known to get 50 million pounds worth of donationsd per year, so anything this single brings in is next to nothing compared to usual donations. Simon Cowell has one thing on his mind ruining the music industry he has been quoted on several occasions stating he doesn't even like music. Go figure eh?

I honestly can't see Susan Boyle getting a number one single especially with Wild Horses. She is going to sell masses of albums. I just cannot see her shifting that much. Anyway I have just realised that the finalists would have to hold onto number 1 for 5 weeks until the winners single is released so there is room in there for something decent to get to the top.
  16. Hero sold 760,000 last year and had an extra month. So hopefully it will have good sales for a couple of weeks then plummet.

The solo males are most likely splitting votes, it was the same last year when we had the five females all vying for the same votes. Each week I think one of them will end up in the bottom 2.

They screwed that one up didn't they. The words 'Why bother' spring to mind why not just release it in a couple of weeks.
  19. Per the digital spy review: though not the one who tackles the tough notes. It's not a bad record, but nor is it a modern pop classic like the best Girls Aloud albums. The only instant hit is 'Stand Up' She didn't write it Still, you'll need a lot of affection for Cole to overlook the album's cringier interludes Auto-Tune is used judiciously throughout
  20. I have listended to it, it is coma inducing.
  21. Anyone who buys Cheryl Coles album is wasting their money it is cheap tacky filler and has not got higher than two stars from any review.

Jay Sean better overtake Alexandra Burke this week. At least Westlife have no chance of number one that is the only positive thing about Cheryl Cole.
  23. Half decent? It will be horrific.
  24. Subo's album is released the week after X Factor finalists. Do we really think a cherry picked album track will sell 100k+
