Think I'd have a heart attack.

So great that they added Gaga. This must be the first week in a while that Ed is not playlisted at all, surely?

Thank god they playlisted Gaga! I really thought they were done with her but it's great that they didn't ignore how well it's doing.
  4. The Cure up to #7 :yahoo:
  5. No Gaga
  6. The Cure up to #9 :cheer:

It's more to do with you passing off your personal opinion as fact and using it to justify Radio 1's decision and explain what you deem to be the entire public's perception of her, whilst ignoring all facts, logic and reason. Makes you look slightly dense.

BTW definitely damaged her brand following TF(M), but anyone who considers a #1 million selling album, four top twenty hits (three top tens) and sold out stadium shows a "failed era" is, well... Maybe I won't go there.

I'm well aware of that, but you're ignoring facts. She's top ten on iTunes and doing great on Spotify, regardless of your irrelevant opinion on the song. The people buying and streaming it everyday clearly do not think that it's bland.

You really need to learn about the concept of subjectivity. Clearly not everyone thinks it's awful as it's been in the top ten of iTunes for the majority of it's two and a half week life, and is doing decently on Spotify. Other stations are loving it too. So the issue doesn't seem to be people being "over her".

Gaga surely has no chance with Radio 1 now. I'm pretty sure they're done with her. Which seems ridiculous because this song is clearly showing potential...
  12. Slow Hands is actually really good and I have a bit of a soft spot for Niall so I hope it's a good hit for him!

    Any word on Gaga?
  16. That's a really interesting question. Unless I'm missing something (which is very possible), other than Bad & Boujee there hasn't been a #1 in the US that hasn't been top 10 here for a long time. Before the aforementioned, the last instance I found was This Is Why I'm Hot by Mims from 2007 that hit #1 in the US, but only made #18 here. For an "established artist", I found Mariah's Don't Forget About us in 2005 that topped Billboard and reached #11 here. EDIT: Seems I did miss out on Set Fire To The Rain. Think I just saw Adele's name and totally forgot it missed top ten.
  17. There's a difference between having an opinion and being negative/insulting. No one's asking you to support something you don't like. On the last page alone you've made three unnecessary digs out of nowhere.
  18. Why are you so negative in pretty much every post? lol
  19. It was a little joke referencing a user a few pages back who said she's over, which is clearly nonsense.
  20. 8. The Cure (+2)
  21. Gaga's consistent performance on iTunes today is amazing considering she's apparently "over"!

OCC updates are out Bon Apetit in at #39... She will miss Top 40 I guess. Gorillaz at #1 only 300 copies away from Ed :(
  23. Anything for Lady Gaga - The Cure? Thanks
  24. Gaga :cheer: That Shawn Mendes single is gonna be big.
