the response to edge of glory has been great :o better than both judas+btw, hope it does really well now and if not i hope it gets a proper release later on in the campaign

i think they did change the title of the youtube version when it was officially released, because i remember the 'dem' annoying me when i heard it on youtube the day it leaked

i wish she'd stop doing such long videos for a while. if it's good i don't really mind, but bad romance proved you can have a normal length video and it can still be an event, having such long videos would be nice from time to time but i don't think it's necessary all the time

I think I'm more confident about it getting #1 than BTW. This slow start is good I think. And if it's true the video is out on Tuesday then that will give it a good boost and no doubt there will be loads of controversy surrounding the timing of the release, and on the whole the initial reception has been more positive than BTW's, so I'm hopeful :)

I think you used an unfair example on Gaga's part. For one I don't even think Paparazzi and Bad Romance are similar but you took songs from the other three artists that are most notably different... what about Bad Romance vs. Speechless? Eh Eh vs. LoveGame? I like it when artists have a distinctive style, so you can listen to a Ke$ha instrumental and tell that it's a Ke$ha record, same for Gaga. But with Rihanna and Katy they don't really have a particular sound which I guess could be looked at as a good or a bad thing, but it doesn't really bother me. I know what I mean :P

gaga will play mary magdalene in the video, this was confirmed a while back and i wouldn't say i definitely prefer this over BR/PF yet, but i like it more on first listen than bad romance which is my favourite gaga song. maybe i will think differently in a year or so but right now i'm thinking it could turn out to be my favourite gaga song

not as many people know it's out though, and the born this way release was hyped like crazy. they only announced it would be on itunes today less than 2 hours ago! this could help it's sales next week if they arent as high as btw this week i guess
