As this is being discussed can anyone remind who the following band were? They were British, had a kids TV show around the late 90s or early 2000s and were like a Busted rip off. You know, like a imitation Punk type thing. Don't think they had much in the way of hits. And no it's not McFly or Son of Dork
  2. You can put me down as a fan of his '90s work too. Much of it is underrated

Never been a huge fan of Damon's role. He's a nice guy and gives reasonable perspective but he is a bit dull and there's no great insights from him usually despite his experience. That being said I would have no objection to him carrying on if he could and would much rather some of the other individuals from team Sky left - Crofty and Kravitz in partcular are irritating beyond belief. I wonder if the team will be streamlined or there'll be a replacement (if only Raikkonen could be convinced to do it, the lineup needs someone with real personality)
  4. I'm a big fan of the original so for me, Rod's version is a big no no

Not so sure of that. The build up to Indy via qualifying takes place over several weekends and then there's the race. It's practically a month build up. With tht F1 calendar so stacked theses days you'd have to miss at least two GP I reckon

Switching the date to June makes sense, as they can run the Miami and Montreal races consecutively. I just hope they don't put Miami on at the same time as the Indy 500. Mind you, I'd rather skip Miami than Monaco if it came to it
  7. Six sets of votes in so far and the deadline is this weekend. If anyone is struggling to get them in on time just let me know. I'll send reminders out for those who haven't yet voted soon.
  8. Band Aid II was shockingly bad though. A collection of mostly average singers desperately trying to prove themselves and over singing the song. It's best left ignored.

Red Bull have been looking at Colapinto for certain, so might still happen
  10. North American stadium tour where they will perform The Black Parade in full
  11. Just a reminder everybody that there is one week to get your votes in

  13. Sent my answers. Also, for clarity by 'a driver from Italy', I assume you mean someone who raced under the Italian flag? For example, Max Verstappen was born and raised in Belgium but races under the Dutch flag and a similar situation is true of other drivers
  14. Congrats to Addy on yet another victory. Thanks to those who found joy in Lorna Shore, I've previously avoided entering anything Metal but that's been my mood lately and I felt it was time for me to chuck in a bit of Deathcore. I honestly entered it with the expectation of coming last on nil points so I'm glad a few of you liked it. Hope Doctor B's migraine wasn't too bad! I'll admit I did vote heavily for all the acts I already knew (sorry but they were my favourites) but Oranssi Pazuzu was a particularly fun and interesting new discovery.
  15. Sadly, I'm off to see Wargasm tonight so shan't be abour but will catch up on the results later

  17. Picking one song is hard and I want to avoid anything too obvious. Plus there needs to be some Alt stuff on here. Therefore... The Cramps - Garbageman
  18. Only if you like drinks that will kill you! Voted Manics, Garbage, Kelis

  21. Deee-Lite's Groove is in the Heart stalled at #2 despite selling the same number of copies as the #1 single, The Joker by Steve Miller Band. Steve Miller was #1 because he had the biggest sales increase

The RB's were deemed to have followed the front row's lead. Everyone else got told to go as it would have been unsafe and unfair otherwise
  23. Oh there are stacks of them depending on your definition of big, although not so many recent ones due to the way things are now chart wise - Liked all of these before any had a hit R.E.M. Nirvana Green Day Nick Cave (if you consider him 'big') Manic Street Preachers Nine Inch Nails Libertines Radiohead Architects Hole Levellers Sleeper Smashing Pumpkins KLF To be honest there were loads of 80s and 90s Indie type bands that where popular on my scene long before they broke through

On a day when the weather levelled the playing field Verstappen showed everyone that right now, he's in a class all of his own. That was one of his best drives and he reminded me of Schumacher even more than normal. Great result for Renault as well. It was also glorious to see the McLaren MP4 out there again. Such a thing of beauty
  25. Have now voted. Some good new stuff in there and a few familiar favourites too
