I totally agree. Secrets is awesome but thats why I'm glad the Starboy album is such a masterpiece. This is a cash in and I don't blame him or his label. Compilation sets helps the artist pick up the casual fans who won't invest in alot of songs they don't know. This also could get them to check out his back catalogue.

I take this greatest hits in the same way as I did when P!nk released her one. Its a stop gap while the artist sorts out their next move from here. I bet this greatest hits wouldn't of existed if he was able to tour the last album. I will buy this complilation for the temporal gratification but I will probably just replay his last albums (especially Starboy and The Trilogy) to feel justified. He's got many years and albums to come. I'm not worried either way.

I was wondering about the new entry at No. 72 in the Album Charts. Is it Poor Clares Of Arundel’s ‘Light For The World or Ian Dury’s Hit Me Compilation album? The OCC have it as the former.

It was never in the midweeks. The highest one was their second album. Maybe Syco Music only want the albums that went to number 1 promoted. Up All Night only got to No.2 :rolleyes:

I see the One Direction albums benefitting from the 10 year anniversary but their debut album is nowhere in sight. Is there an explanation for this? I thought that album would be up there too :huh:

I thought it was regardless of which album it’s from. Three best selling songs (lead artists mainly but excludes being a feature artist) should be the rule. The fact that 3 of the 4 entries Lady GaGa has on the chart are of joint collaborations. Is the OCC adding collaborations and solo songs separate?

Disclosure’s third album called ‘Energy’ is released on August 28th. The first track off it (also called Energy) is released today (May 21st)
